This was our first visit to the Morrison...we've been wanting to try it for a long time and some friends asked us to double date. Thankfully we had a reservation as we forgot there was a Dodgers playoff game that night. Off the jump, we loved all the fun seasonal decor...it's a great spot to get in the spirit of the holidays. The menu is limited but solid. The main reason for our review is Manny. He was dedicated to making sure our table was happy and he did just that. Bravo, Manny! Morrison has always been a go to place for a great burger and beer. The sampler plate that we always get as an appetizer could truly be a meal for two. Service has always been fantastic. Came to Morrison to watch the Rams game. Had a great time, food was very good, loved the brussels sprouts, smash burger but the bread pudding was amazing. Our waiter NICK, was the best part of our experience very attentive, kind and explained everything in detail, checked on us multiple times. Definitely coming back again, great vibe. This review is for Roger! Son and I love Morrison's, we are regulars. He likes their burgers and I like their Happy Hour menu, but today I had my favorite Cheese Fries with Onion and Bacon Jam!! It's so delicious. Roger was great, friendly and informative. I was wondering about one of the dishes that comes in a steel dish, turns out it's their famous bread pudding, which I still have to try. The place was still decked out for St. Patrick's (they always decorate for the major holidays, which is super fun) and they still were serving their St. Patrick's menu, so I had a green beer, which I hadn't had ever before! Just had the best experience at the Morrison! We've been coming there for a while now but had the pleasure of meeting our server Evan. Great and funny guy! Vibes are nice and service was great. The food was good going down but unfortunately gave me the runs all night and into the next day :( I got the "one" burger so most likely a problem with the meat. Also if you are seated toward the bathroom, it will smell like sewage every time the back door opens. read more

After finishing a nice Griffith Park Hike with our dog, we wanted a nice spot to rest up and recoup. We decided to hit up the Morrison. The Morrison is truly the best happy hour (on a Sunday too) and dog friendly place in Los Angeles, if not beyond. Great food, decent prices and friendly service, as everyone was so helpful. Lastly, Keith our server was extremely kind and attentive and overall exceptional. He made a good experience GREAT! Thank you everyone! ok let me tell you this place is hopping but........if you are looking for good service, attentive bartenders, keep looking. I went in there after work and asked a waiter for a table, (no one else in line empty table for 2 to my left) was told sit at the bar. ok, I am waiting at the bar and waiting. finally, I raise my hand in a hello, and the bartender sees me but looks right thru me and does not acknowledge me. Morrison is a master of Happy Hour. And I LOVE that their Boulevard Salad is on the HH menu. Also love that they have cider available. This time I got the Passionfruit Cider. The service is great and they are willing to make little changes, like when i asked to get the spicy chicken, not spicy (which kills me because I love spicy stuff, but tummy hurt this week.) It is very loud and fun inside, but nice for relaxation and conversation outside (which I prefer). They have amazing $5 beer specials beyond HH too! The one thing that would kick my score to 5 would be if they used a fish fillet instead of a patty and a juicier piece of chicken for their sandwiches. The chicken was a bit dense, not sure if it was pressed. But if they had more succulent chicken and actual fish filets , I know they might not be able to give us the same great HH prices. Amazing!!! My husband and I wish this place were closer. We live in OC but this place is worth the drive to LA. Not only is the ambience amazing the service and food is even better. Roger C. We went around when they opened, great interior ambiance, not too loud and very clean. Our server Teddy was great and we got our orders very quickly ! The food is just extra yummy ! I came here on a weekend and was seated right away. Loved all their Halloween decorations! Roger was an attentive server and he checked on us often. The spicy chicken sandwich was delicious! Quick check of yelp for the closest place by where I'm staying in East Hollywood. This place has 8000 reviews and it was amazing as soon as I walked in so I'll see you at the bar and they said go ahead and take a seat bartender came up after a minute and asked me what I'd like to drink. I ordered a root beer. The ambience is what you'd expect wood everywhere , lotta TV's the Dodgers game was going on. You've never been here before, but 9k reviews at 4.7 stars??? Who the what the ef? You walk in, and Manny greets you. I'm not gay, but fuck he's hot. And nice. And hot. Made solid suggestions, quick with service, and gave us a flower vase of diet coke for refills before we asked. Again, I'm not gay, but I love this man. As for food, I got the filet burger. Huge. Onion rings? Snappy. Fries? Seasoned. All in sampler? Shiiiit. The smash burger is NOT a smash burger. Get a single patty. You're welcome. End the night with a bread pudding(s). You're not gonna want to share. Flavor absolute. All in all, this place is perfect. Manny created the perfect atmosphere to keep us laughing and enjoying our meal the whole time. Came here on a Saturday night and it wasn't too busy at all, got promptly seated. Ordered the truffle burger while my girlfriend got the burger smash salad. The orders came out pretty quick and the portions were pretty big for both our orders. Overall I think my truffle burger was good, but the patty was a bit over salted to my liking. Fries were of A+ crisp though. Value wise, the burger meal is on the more expensive side. Service was very good here. Definitely a nice pub to take friends out to and the vibes are chill. Would like to come back here to try their bread pudding the next time I come visit the Morrison again. Also was recommended to park on the street as their parking lot be a bit cramped and harder to get out than to get in apparently. read more

The server from Ryan's party is super rude, she told me to pay attention when the servers handing out the food like literally on my face to "pay attention" and listen to the server when they are handing out the food! Because they don't know who order this and etc..... Like all I care about is food. We are there to have fun and socialize and not to think about sorting out the food orders. We had this server twice already and she's still very disrespectful to me and my friends. I will not personally come here and recommend this place to my other friends at all. read more

Went with a group of friends and two dogs after hiking at Griffith Park on a Sunday afternoon. Luckily it turned out to be happy hour.
