After landing in New Orleans, early evening, we stumbled across this amazing restaurant. We were greeted by our waitress and sat at a great table for people watching. We started with the Crawfish Bread and file Gumbo. Both were exceptional dishes. We enjoyed a couple of fantastic cocktails and a couple of glasses of wine. The entrées were every bit as good and matched the overall vibe of the restaurant. exceptional dishes. I had the Redfish, and it would be something you would expect in a Michelan-starrred kitchen. Another not to be missed is the Gumbo Ramen. Full of flavor and ingredients, it is also an entree this restaurant could be known for in the area, Overall, the service was outstanding from start to finish. The decor has a welcoming vibe and is great for a date night. Make sure you make a trip to this restaurant on your next trip to NOLA. Bonus is that is in walking distance to Frenchman Street, where some amazing music can be found. Make sure not to miss Morrows!

Cajun Crawfish Pasta

The charbroiled oysters and the morrow oysters were both delicious. The crawfish pasta was a very pleasant surprise. I tried my husband's redfish entree - I don't know what the Chef is paid but she needs and immediate raise! The customer service (Claude) was top notch! And, to top of off, I had perhaps the best custom mocktail I've ever had! My only complaint - we are traveling and can't take it home!

Man look! I'm a SoCal guy and we have some good food out here. But Morrows was next level. This place is really cool and cozy. The staff was as friendly as anywhere I've ever been. Our server, Nia, was flat out awesome, top shelf. She knows how to work the room, giving great individual service and keeping the entire group well taken care of. Now, for the food...where do I start. Red beans and rice 10/10, fried catfish10/10, cornbread 10/10, chargrilled oysters 10/10. Go see for yourself, I ain't lyin' yall. Morrows is absolutely legit!

Morrow's was absolutely phenomenal. Everyone at the table was blown away by their dish. We started with the chargrilled oysters and they were delicious, such a perfect way to kick things off. My entrée completely stole the show. I ordered the crawfish pasta topped with fried fish and wow... it was incredible. So flavorful, rich, and perfectly cooked. Every bite was better than the last. This place is a must when you're in New Orleans. Service was great. Make a reservation! Very cozy and great for a group or a date. I already can't wait to come back.

I absolutely loved my experience at Morrow's! I sat at the bar, and from start to finish, the vibes were everything. The staff were so welcoming, attentive, and genuinely delightful, it made the experience even better. I ordered their special charbroiled oysters, and wow... I was beyond impressed. They were perfectly cooked, flavorful, and indulgent. I paired them with a rosé wine, which complemented the oysters beautifully, such a perfect pairing. I also ordered the shrimp po' boy, which was incredibly well made and packed with flavor. The only tiny note is that the bun was just a bit small to hold everything together, but honestly, it didn't take away from how delicious it was at all, still a solid 10/10. Overall, I enjoyed my meal so much and will definitely be back the next time I'm in NOLA. Amazing food, great energy, and top-tier vibes. Highly recommend!

Food: I've been to New Orleans many times and I've never had a bad meal! Well not until today, 12/10/25! My husband and I were hungry and ready for a good meal! We ordered gumbo, charbroiled oysters, the catfish platter, and collard greens! The $14 bowl of gumbo, was watery and had very little rice and hardly any meat! The catfish was greasy and flavorless. Absolutely no seasoning! The catfish was the large catfish that shouldn't be used to fry, it's oily! Last but not least, these were the worst charbroiled oysters I've ever had! They were literally BURNED!!! Do not waste your time! We spent $109 on garbage!!! Service: our waitress was friendly and helpful! Ambiance: The inside and outside of the Resturant was decorated nicely..

CRAWFISH BREAD

Lord have mercy y'all the crawfish bread was so delicious that my mouth is still watering for some more two weeks later. I will be coming back just for that alone. And those Morrows oysters with that stuffed crab concoction on top oh yeah definitely top-tier! And the lovely lady at the bar. I wish I could remember her name, but she was an excellent bartender and super cool. They make really great cocktails. I have the espresso martini and it was perfect. I highly suggest making reservations if you want to sit outside on the upstairs patio it seems like a cool little vibe up there during great weather.

BBQ SHRIMP

We didn't have reservations and it was a nice wait but we were able to sit at the bar. There were two bartenders and they were pretty busy to the point it took her close to 10 minutes to greet us even once seeing us sitting there. Wasn't a fan of that. The food took a while to come out and when it did it wasnt steaming hot. It was good but not super fresh for whatever reason. The shrimp were just okay to me flavor wise.

The food, service and ambiance were wonderful. Best meal we have had in all the times we've come to New Orleans. The food was flavorful and the presentation was artistic . The ambiance and decor I would describe as understated elegance. We were treated like celebrities. Staff were warm and friendly and welcoming. Can't wait to go there again on our next trip to New Orleans! Great find!

Catfish Platter!

We were delivered here (story for another day) & MAN was it worth the wait! I had the catfish platter & fries, well prepared & super tasty! My bride had Morrows Chicken, all dark, with greens & baked macaroni. O M G she said the chicken was very good. I got to try her greens & macaroni, both were some of the best I've had, anywhere!! The atmosphere was fantastic, nicely lit, yet dim enough for a romantic Valentine's Day dinner! The service from the front door, bar, & servers was simple amazing!!

The catfish, crawfish, and shrimp says Louisiana/Gulf on the menu. Only thing I would ask if you are in person about is the Salmon. Hope this helps!

I've never had crawfish and seeing it was crawfish season we were destined to be here. We built out our own seafood boil, which included, 1lb shrimp head off, 2 soft shell crab clusters, 1lb crawfish, corn, potato, and sausage. Let's just say we left with a pretty big leftovers box We ordered the hot house flavor and do not regret it one bit! Our server was so kind to show us how to peel and eat the crawfish and honestly it was so fun!! I will definitely be back next time in New Orleans!! One quick note I will say that I learned from a local that I wish I knew before this feast (And you should double check with staff if this info is correct). Most seafood boil places in the area when they have headless shrimp it is farmed and brought in from outside retailers where if you get head-on it's from local ships in the area/fresh caught. Apparently they've been struggling and if you want to support New Orleans local fisherman then go for the head-on shrimp. Again double check with staff if their head-on shrimp is local cuz I learned this information after visiting.

Hot N Cajun With no seated tables available when I arrived…read moreat Hot'n Cajun Boil House on Iberville Street in New Orleans, I happily accepted a seat at the bar. Behind the bar, Sandy mixed me a Summer Peach (Absolute Vodka, real peach, sweet tea, fresh lemon, $14) and provided the bib and gloves I likely would need if in fact I wanted to enjoy a crawfish boil. Of the dozens of restaurants I've visited in New Orleans, rare is the menu that includes a crawfish boil. Hot'n Cajun has it. I asked the barkeep Sandy B. if it was still crawfish season, and she assured me that it was. So I ordered 3 pounds of boiled crawfish (including potatoes and corn on the cob, $25.99), asked that the seasoning be "medium", and Sandy brought me a Model ($9) with a neat Maker's Mark ($12). The experience was pretty close to what I remember we'd find if invited to a neighbor's crawfish boil. Three pounds sounds like a lot, but the yield is more like half a pound, at most. So I put the gloves and bib on and started in on the crawfish. Nice presentation, and very good, fresh crawfish.
