Just look at that Baby! Nothing like eating a Breakfast Burrito the size of a baby! This monster was delicious! 3 types of meat and crisp jalapeños with egg, potatoes, and yummy chili. This place is easy to miss. The front is inconspicuous so tourists may walk by. They do have a rotating burger grill in the front. Think Mongolian grill for burgers! The service is amazing and the atmosphere is cows and the 3 Stooges!

Consistently solid food! Came here over 10 years ago when my husband and I started dating. I was always fond of their burgers and chili! Came back here last week and it was just as great as I remembered. My go to is the Belly Buster burger. Patties are grilled to order. No frills delicious burger. Chili is a must here. Perfect amount of seasoning with little spicy kick. Fries are also solid! It can get super busy here sometimes there's a wait. Definitely worth it!

This is a 10-table diner and luckily they had an open table on New Year's Eve morning. We got here late enough that they also had burgers available so we ordered scrambled eggs and a classic cheeseburger. The eggs were delicious! They were soft and fluffy. Probably some of the best I've had. As I walked in, I saw them cooking the potatoes per order and these were also very good. The cheeseburger was perfectly cooked to our order, with a nice thick slab of cheese on top. The fries were thin, crispy on the outside with a soft center. This is more of a laid back place and I really enjoyed my breakfast!!

Felt nostalgic so went back to North Beach Mo's grill for some old time memories. My family used to own the building. We had our real estate office at this location and my grandparents lived in the apartment above. Mos did a nice job with the renovations and the atmosphere was quite lively. Had the chili cheeseburger with a peroni beer. The chili had good texture and was quite tasty. Really fond memories today. Next time I will come back for breakfast.

Came here during north beach's first Friday and was looking for a place that we can sit down for some sustenance. Cute diner vibes but the horrible experience with the service. There's only one waitress and I understand it's a Friday night and it's busy. We got our table first and set there awkwardly for a good 20 minutes before we got to order (have to physically get up to find the waitress to ask to order). Saw other groups set down after us get served first, was quite frustrated. We got the alpine burger with fries to share and each got a cup of clam chowder. It's a good diner burger with a hearty patty. The buns were a bit cold even tho it was roasted on their rotating grill. Fries were kinda just meh and bit soggy to my liking. The clam chowders were salty and kinda tasted more like potato soup. Wouldn't get that again. Overall, would come back for their burgers and breakfast when they're less busy and give the food another try. Just didn't have a great experience this time.

Wow. Huge portions, delicious food, casual interior, and super chill weeknight dinner spot to go to. They have a rotating grill in the front of the restaurant that they grill burgers and chicken on. The caesar salad they make with the grilled chicken is the best in the city. They also do daily specials, rotating between a rack of ribs, brisket, chicken, and others. Worth trying!! Time between ordering and getting food can be slow, but it's worth it. Service is really casual, but good.

Had to wait a bit to get seated but it was worth it. Lucky enough to sit at the small counter instead of a table which gave us a great view of the kitchen activity. Burgers were delicious. We had the Aussie burger and the cheeseburger. Come with an appetite as the burgers are big and the fries are great.

I ordered the Friday ribs special. The food was delicious. Great staff. Cozy atmosphere. I will definitely be coming back here.

Walking around North Beach and decided to try Mo's, knowing it's been around for quite sometime. We were curious about this "no frills" diner. We entered around 5pm. There were at least 5 other tables during this off hour, which is a good sign. We both decided to get what they're known for, BURGERS! Each 1/2 lb patty is grilled over volcanic rock. When you enter, you can see the guy in the center cooking burgers! FRENCH BURGER ~ Best burger stuffed with imported goat cheese topped with caramelized onions on a crusty bun. I wanted medium rare which when I got it, it was a bit more rare than expected, but it was still good. I didn't get sick, so it's all good! But if you're not used to a red middle, I'd go with a medium doneness. The cheese was really rich and tasty! And I also got french fries on the side. (You get a choice of french fries, cup of chili, side salad, cole slaw or a cup of soup.) 5/5 PATTY MELT ~ Burger and 2 pieces of American cheese topped with caramelized onions on sourdough bread. This burger was perfectly medium rare, but the patty was only in the middle and would fit buns rather than two pieces of sliced bread. Basically, you don't get meat on the left or right side. I think if these patties are made to order, it should fit the bread? It just isn't as good if you get bites of onions and bread without meat. If you like meat and bread together, order a hamburger instead and skip the patty melt. The chili was good and a bit more spicy than expected. 3/5 It's about $20 for each burger with a side. That's an extra $4.50 for french fries, coke slaw, side salad, cup of chili or soup. Not bad considering your plate is really full and any hungry person would be satisfied at the end. We'd definitely come back when we're in the mood for a burger!

On a Winter season stroll in the beginning of 2026 , I landed at Le Sandwich. This place has lots of sandwiches available made by Chef Elias. I decided to try their Primo ( means Prime in Italian) sandwich. I have to say this is one of the tastiest sandwiches I had in San Francisco. It had meats which were tender such as Genoa Salami, coppa, and ham. It's has melting provolone which made it cheesy like some in SF. Hello locals and visitors! If you're in the area, this place is a MUST-TRY!…read more It has that small, family-owned, hole-in-the-wall feel--and sometimes those are the places with the best food! The gentleman at the register was nice and welcoming. They have a great variety of food to choose from, including sandwiches, burgers, spaghetti, pizza, wings, and more. This was hands down the BEST food we had during our 4-day visit to San Francisco! I especially want to give a huge shout-out to the cook, Victor! You may think, "It's just pizza and wings," but NO--Victor made everything to perfection! The wings were cooked well done, just how we like them, with the perfect crispy texture. The pizza was delicious too! I only wish we had found this place on our first day. We ended up having dinner here on the last two nights of our vacation because we loved it that much! They also offer a 3% discount if you pay with cash. We paid around $35 for a small pizza (6 slices) 10 wings, and a drink. It was more than enough food for two people, and we even had leftover pizza. if you buy 1 slice of pizza the slices are pretty big. Other places we were spending almost $50 for two people each meal. I truly hope this place stays in business for many years to come. Great food, friendly service, good portions, and reasonable prices. If you're in San Francisco, give this place a try--you won't regret it! Five stars from us!

I am always open to having local based pizzerias to enjoy a good pizza pie. Hearing about this place having three restaurants across San Francisco made it sound like a chainstore pizza joint like Pizza Butt( I mean Pizza Hut). I have tried this place before and it's local to San Francisco and I wanted to give it a whirl in person. On a Spring stroll down Lombard and Van Ness where the hotel and motel signs are over mile deep I wanted to try an American favorite which are pizza pies. Pizza pies have become more American than apple pies these days . I went inside Chico's and tried their pepperoni and sausage before Good Friday approaches. The pizza slice was kind of cheesy like some in SF and it had pepperoni and sausage but not too saucy . The dough was pretty doughy but flakey like some in SF. It reminded me of some old school style of San Francisco pizza which is good paired with a case of beer. Finding pizza after midnight in San Francisco is pretty "hard "the pizza at Chicos is pretty doughy and the cheese was a bit "charred "located at "Lombard" which is a street but starting on Van Ness resembles a "boulevard " Come to Lombard street in the Marina where people "dwell "among the over 30 different" hotel"and "motel" but Chicos is the place where you'll find in SF the cheesy pizza "smell"
