The service was great. I have had better food at freaking McDonald's. I am not alone as there were three of us and we all felt the same. If you like machine made frozen burger patties and soggy thin crust pizza, then this place is for you. 13 dollars for a shot of Jameson and 3 dollars extra for the one piece of bacon they put on my burger. The place is pretty and quite trendy it seems, but if you want quality food, I recommend going somewhere else...one would be better off at Denny's. Sad. read more

rhis Is the first time I have gone for a Sunday brunch and the service was horrible. we spent an hour and a half there after we were told it would be 15 minutes until we sat down by the manager. Which it was 15 minutes but we were told we would be sitting outside, then we were sat inside where it was freezing cold along with the food and not a shrug of care by the shift manager. i even said we should get a free round of memosas for the inconvenience but not even an apology was transferre. The food took over 1 hour to get to our table and there was no hollandaise sauce and it was cold. I went and grabbed my own drinks because they were sitting there for so long. I don't even think I'll go again for a different time of day. It pretty much ruined my experience of the place for good. read more

My business trip brought me to Redding last week. We stayed at the Sheraton next door. The food was delicious for breakfast and dinner. The highlight of our trip was Reyna who was our server at breakfast two days in a row. Her cheery disposition and will to provide excellent service was so impactful on my trip. Mosaic is attached to the Sheraton. Thank goodness too! The free Club Level breakfast at the Sheraton was DISGUSTING, which led me to walk next door and pay for breakfast. I am surprised though, the Mosaic kitchen makes the food for the Club Level at the hotel, which is disappointing if true as it simply isn't edible. The same hash browns were decent at Mosaic, but chewy, cold, and rubbery at the hotel. Dinner at Mosaic was decent too. I should have ordered a pizza, next time for sure. The salads are good and the carpaccio was very good, do not order the cauliflower, I think cauliflower on a menu is a good idea they just need a new recipe. How they even think a 3/4" cauliflower "steak" is worth $32 is baffling though. The best part of the restaurant really is the staff, everyone was super helpful and friendly from the managers to the wait staff. A special shout out to Reyna, Angela and Peter. I knew this place would be overpriced since it's next to the hotel. It was the only decent reviewed restaurant in the area. The restaurant is beautiful btw. The food and and our server was subpar. Salad is drenched in dressing, nothing about it was fresh, and the bone marrow was terribly made. This is a restaurant that is trying reallly hard to be fancy. My boyfriend ordered a hamburger and the fries tasted as if someone spilled an open bottle of salt on it. The food was warm of course it's been sitting out. Never coming here again, we should had just eaten at Applebees. It took forever to get our bill. We should have just walked out. I would have expected better service, but we were deceived. read more

We had breakfast at the Club Lounge and the breakfast was very nice. The lounge was very clean and up to date. Jillian was an excellent host who made sure everything was kept clean and ensured there was food available. She did an excellent job with the roasted potatoes. They did a great job hiring her as she makes the stay that much nicer. read more

This is the cutest restaurant!! I've been here twice for breakfast and I absolutely love it. The first time I came we had the best waiter. He was funny, friendly and wasn't over the top checking on our table. I wish I remembered his name! Superb service and even hooked us up w/a birthday sundae for my friend's birthday we were celebrating! (Yes, for breakfast! Lol) The food is great and reasonably priced. I got the eggs benedict and it came w/potatoes and was so yummy! My friends tried one of the omelets, breakfast burrito and other items on the menu and they all loved their order. I will definitley be coming back, hopefully to check out their lunch or dinner menu next! This is a great spot to take out of town guests or a cute place to celebrate a special occasion! read more

I came here with some co-workers for breakfast prior to returning home from a quick business trip. Two of us had a build-your-own egg breakfast, and the other had avocado toast. The food was fresh and delicious, solid 4 stars, but we all agreed that the service we received was excellent. Reyna, our server, deftly met all of our logistical needs and imbued our morning with a sense of comfort and charm. If felt as if we were old friends who had dropped by unexpectedly. My fiancé and I went here for our one year anniversary last night. We had our first date one year ago at this restaurant. I had called on Monday just to make sure they were open and spoke with Rick. He was so kind and assured me my fiancé and I would have an outside table near the heater waiting for us to celebrate our special day. When we got there everyone was so nice and congratulated us on our anniversary. They treated us to a celebratory champagne and delicious dessert. And even though their menu was very limited because of COVID our food was so delicious! We were so thankful for all that they did to help make the night so special. read more

After a morning visit to Turtle Bay, we discovered that Mosaic's was open for lunch again at 11AM. Even though inside seating was available, we chose to sit outside on the front patio. We made a good choice. First of all we ordered the Blueberry Kale Salad and the Hawaiian 1000 Peak Pizza. Great food. Great service. People who review and complain about price or menu have a choice on where they dine. So if a restaurant does not fit your palette or wallet, move on. With that being said, Mosaic is not over priced for the quality. In my experience, I was greeted, then sat and asked for my drink order, then food order, then also asked if the meal was to my standards. When my drink was low my server asked if I wanted another or something different. I believe that is what is expected from a dining venue. Also very beautiful outside on the patio area. read more

Great food, but 90% of the time I go I get really bad service. Like, what the heck is happening, how can service be this bad, type service.

Upscale interior bar/restaurant, but the patio is lacking in similar style. We waited an hour for a pizza, hamburger and salad. When our food came the order was incorrectly prepared. After complaining to the manager the burger was taken off our bill. The food was tasty enough, but the steak on the salad was stone cold...not even heated through to the middle so don't order medium rare unless you want it very rare. The waitress suggested pizza rocket style which is served with arugula dressed in vinaigrette. It was good. All in all, we would not go out of our way to get to this place again, nor would we stop if we don't have plenty of extra time. read more

came into town for a show at the civic center (across the parking lot) and was staying at the hotel. instead of going somewhere far to eat we decided to go here for its convenient location and we ended up eating here twice during our stay.. For dinner one night I got Wagyu burger. The tomato jam and pretzel bun were amazing. The burger itself was cooked perfectly and not overcooked since I asked for medium-well. The staff is very friendly, super attentive and helpful. We came back the next day for breakfast before leaving and I ordered the avocado toast with an egg. Doesn't sound like anything to rave about but the balsamic glaze they used with the egg and micro greens really rounded out the meal but was still very light and perfect for a day of travel that was ahead of me. The prices are slightly high- but I was felt like I was paying for the convenience and quality of the food and the prices were not ridiculously high so it was tolerable. read more

We came to the Mosaic Restaurant at Turtle Bay to meet with some friends for breakfast. Nate graciously greeted us at the door and sat us on the patio. Reyna Creager eagerly poured us coffee and than took us to the back patio because our large party had reserved an even larger table. She was a hoot. She greeted each of the party of 15 with special conversations, gave each of us nicknames while taking our orders. Matthew Pendleton helped to make sure that all of our orders arrived in a timely fashion. Great job by both Reyna and Matthew. The food was perfect. The portions were just right and the atmosphere of the patio was spectacular. We could see deer just beyond the patio in the large riparian woodland bordering the Sacramento River. The building itself is very eco-friendly, using straw bales to create insulated walls, the bales being covered with a plaster outer coat. some of the wall was viewable by small windows so you could see how the walls were constructed. Beautiful architectural design and educational all at the same time. Great job to all that make the Mosaic Restaurant special. read more
