This is such a cute hidden gem. We picked this place as it is close to our airbnb, but such a great choice! It's a small, quaint, and qwirky coffee shop! I got a dirty chai latte one day- it was too spicy, but they remedied by adding more oatmilk. I went there again the next day and asked for a bit less chai and they did it..... ssssoooo amazing. I was craving the blueberry matcha which I had at their other shop at sunrise cafe last time I was out here visiting. This one is a lot closer to where I am staying so I popped in around 10ish am and this place was already busy. They have a small patio outside as well as some bar and table seating throughout the shop. It is smaller in size at this location. They have a variety of pastries to choose from, drinks and even food. The wait time wasn't long for the drink and I was in and out within a couple minutes of ordering. The coffee was great! It was really busy though so be warned, I wouldn't recommend going there if you're in a rush. But the service was great despite how busy they were. I will say that the coffee I ordered and the coffee my boyfriend ordered tasted pretty similar. He got the butterbeer and I got the crème brûlée. We ended up switching cuz he liked the one I got (thought it wasn't as sweet) and I liked his (I enjoy a sweeter drink). The empanadas were delicious too. Still a lovely experience. i've always been a fan of mothership, including their take-home roasted coffee. But their nitro cold brew always tastes so different on another level that it makes me want to always go back just for it. It doesn't have a very acidic taste like some cold brew that I usually try it has this very smooth and bold flavor mixed with that foam is that you get from most nitro cold brew, and the vanilla really adds to that boldness and complements it with a nice sweetness. Service at mothership is usually pretty fast unless it's absolutely packed but at this location, particularly it was relatively fast, which I appreciated because it was very hot that day. I did like the overall appearance and ambience of this mothership because it was much smaller. It felt a little more home and I also really liked the tiling on the floor. I enjoy Mothership coffee Roasters, both the Henderson location and the downtown location. Good coffee, good people and it's not that other giant conglomerate coffee empire. I would much rather patron Mothership coffee than Douchebucks any day. The downtown arts district ish location is in a really great location for hanging out. It has a large inside area with ample seating and a large grassy area outside with a number of interesting shops to explore encircling the yard. It has an old school college hangout vibe that you just don't find much anymore. If the parking situation was absolutely garbage it would be an A+ spot to chill. But it's Vegas and parking is almost always a shit show. read more

My daughter and I love checking out new coffee shops together. I was excited to try this one out. However, when we went to the counter we looked at the menu and had a hard time figuring out what they offered. Another customer was behind us so we let her go first. The employee handed us the menu as we stepped away. The menu was confusing and a little intimidating. When I asked about the special the employee didn't know about the drink. They where out of all the pastries except the almond bear claw. We ordered a Carmel latte and the Blueberry White Mocha. Once our drinks were ready we sat and enjoyed our drinks and pastry. The ambience was calm and cozy. Very clean, neat, and relaxing. Overall drinks were delicious. Pastery was soft and sweet. We will be back. read more

Came into this place this morning to work for a few hours to have a different environment than my hotel. After ordering my coffee, I started setting up my laptop and had issues connecting to the internet. I was given the password and 3 different networks to chose from. The password didn't work on any of them. I was then given another password, that didn't work. After trying all of the networks and passwords on my phone as well and not having any success, I packed my things and asked for my coffee to go and if it could be warmed up. The coffee didn't come out very warm to begin with, so at this point it was cold. They put my coffee in a cup, but didn't warm it up. When I asked if they would warm it up for me, they said they couldn't. I asked why, and if they had a microwave. They said they do, but it's not for customers. At this point I just left my coffee and walked out. As a coffee shop, having an internet connection is as important as the coffee. And to not warm up A CUSTOMER'S coffee that is cold because of the time spent with them trying to connect to their internet? Unbelievable. read more

This is one of the best pumpkin lattes I have had in a while. The top of it has cinnamon n sugar. Maybe nutmeg either way it's so damn good. I truly love their cups. I think the design is highly appealing, it just gives it that pinch of prettiness. I've been here one other time, can't wait to go more often, now that I know it's over here on this side of town. First time at a Mothership Coffee location, this one is located inside the Trader Joe's shopping center. Lots of parking readily available. The staff was super friendly and the coffee was even better. I personally had a pour over, and it was so delicious. No nasty bitter after taste or anything, was really impressed. Loved the baked goods they have to offer, we got the blueberry Danish, and it was amazing. You can taste the freshness and love they put into it. Saturday morning and it wasn't busy, waited like 3-5 minutes for our coffees. Will def be coming back. read more

Do yall know how to greet your customers when they walk in? I walked in, crickets. My first time there, I didnt know where to order. All I want is coffee. I asked about the coffee I'd like to order with the lady behind the counter and she disappeared to go to the side...I was like where did she go. She didn't vocalize to follow her to the side of the bar. I got up to the register and I greeted her and there was no response from her end. So I asked about the size and she ran her schpiel on auto pilot so I asked for the biggest size and told her which coffee I wanted. Dead no personality no connection whatsoever...it felt like the twilight zone. I paid via card and the audacity for the pay machine to ask for a tip...I should've been given that tip...I reluctantly gave a tip. And to top it off, coffee wasn't that great. Ugh! This place is great if you want to pick up your stuff and go. The shop is located inside a sketchy looking strip mall, reminiscent of a dive joint. The inside is tiny and lacks that "sit down and chill" vibe. The staff were friendly and quick; I ran to the restroom briefly and when I came out, my order was ready. I ordered the bourbon vanilla latte and the breakfast burrito. This is now my favorite coffee beverage, it was perfect. The burrito was also good and was served with a side of hot sauce; it was the right combination of flavor and spice/heat. Mothership after Trader Joe's had become a tasty tradition of mine but I think that relationship may be over. The last 3 or 4 times I've been in, I have received really subpar drinks and this last time actually made me fuming angry. I've already mentioned that I think the pricing here is a bit steep, even for Vegas standards, but I've noticed the last few times I've been in, the cups are even less filled than before. I wish I took a picture of it this time but there should not be more than a fingers width between the lid and my latte, especially when I'm paying almost $7 for it. There are two things that made me angry this time around. First, I get it, when a regular comes in you want to treat them well. They are your regulars. However, if you want more regulars, you have to treat your other guests the same way. When you're halfway through making my drinks (and this place is pretty slow with the drinks already) and you stop because your regular came in and you have to make their drink first, it makes me want to NEVER come back and tell everyone I know that they shouldn't come in. Watching them take their drinks while mine sat in stasis even though I ordered a good 5 min before them is beyond frustrating. Second, my blueberry matcha latte just tasted like oat milk. This isn't the first time this has happened. And no, not the same drink. This is the 3rd different drink that I've had from here that had zero flavor. If I wanted a glass of oat milk, I would have just gotten an extra carton from Trader Joe's. The only saving grace was that the Bourbon Vanilla Latte is still good. So I can still recommend that. You know it's a good coffee shop when you remember the name of it years after you tried it last. Made my way through Las Vegas again and couldn't wait to get back to the Mothership (pun intended). I was aware they had multiple locations and drove up to a smaller shop than my first time but found out I was at their original shop. The staff was great, the coffee was excellent and my family ordered multiple items off their menu and all were happy. I even tried a vegan "steak" bowl over rice and it was awesome. Rare for a good coffee shop to also have a great menu but this one does. This location was fairly small but still had a decent amount of seats and a couple tables outside as well. Mothership is a staple in Las Vegas with several locations across the valley. We went into the sunset and green valley location and were warmly welcomed. The menu isn't posted above the register instead it's on a laminated sheet at the counter. My husband and I decided on the bourbon latte and the dark chocolate mocha. Took maybe 5 mins for us to get our orders. They were so pretty I didn't want to put the lid on. I took one star away because while they were good coffees the flavors of both could definitely be bolder.
