We wouldn't have chosen this place if it weren't for the Groupon deal we found for last night. Mountain Mike's Pizza is pretty pricey but it is really good and deserves more credit than it has. We ordered a 2 topping, large sausage and pepperoni pizza, delicious garlic bread, a 2 liter soda for Groupon's $19.99 deal ($30 worth), and a dozen wings on the side. There were 5 of us up at the cashier ordering together and they only gave us 3 plates. We also received ranch in containers that were less than half filled, so it wasn't enough for all of us to even use. The large fed more than 5 of us and we still had leftovers! Did an order online for pickup at 5:10. Got there right on time and the girl at the front couldn't find my order initially. She didn't say much and had zero customer service. I love Mountain Mike's! I'm most familiar with it in Northern California so I was pleasantly surprised that it was right in our new neighborhood. We went inside to place our order. The young lady at the counter was very helpful and told us about their dessert pizza which we will have to try one day. (Cinnamon, Sugar, and cream cheese on pizza dough lol) Very clean establishment, several games be shown on the big screen TVs, and salad bar was very fresh. We got out pizza and cheesy bread to go! My husband loves "buffet" dining and pizza is his favorite. We just recently started going back to Mountain Mikes for the buffet-salad bar and various pizzas; love it. He even told me today that it's better than "bunch-a-lunch"; I totally agree. He makes you feel happy and welcome and explains everything I mean everything down to the ingredients. The beer is on tap and super delicious. Only thing that was good about our experience was the pizza. We love the upland location so we figured we would try this place out. The customer service was not great at all. The prices are way too much. 30.00 for a family salad. We had to ask for everything. Plates, straws, parmesan cheese, salad tongs you name it. The place had a bad smell near the counter. If you want great pizza I would suggest getting it to go. Most of the staff was not very friendly. I would not take the family to this location again. The upland locations only flaw besides being a bit over priced it's the games. They are always broken and a set to take your money. This location didn't have any games at all to play. Went on a Saturday to have some pizza and watch the first day of college football. When we walked in, there were no sports playing on any (at least 7) of the big screen TVs, just kid shows and non-sense! Asked the worker if they play sports at all, she replied "No." and acted as if It was an odd question. When my wife asked if they could change the channel, the worker said the channels were set but she could try. What is this place!?! God forbid someone wants to watch sports in a place that sells pizza and beer. Keep in mind the Dodgers and the Bruins were playing at this time. A lunch buffet with drink is $6.99. I came here with my brother before the lunch buffet ends which is at 2 for the two of us with drinks, it came to $13.98. I like that the crust was both chewy and crunchy. The slices were small but it was good since I didn't get full on only one. The salad bar that they had was ok, but the lettuce was almost empty and it was kinda slimy since I was picking around the slimy pieces. It had potato salad and macaroni salad too. They had dessert pizza as well which tasted like a cinnamon roll but the crust was burnt a bit. They'll keep the food for the lunch buffet 20 mins after it ends so people won't rush eating before they stop making it for the day. Mountain Mike's Pizza in the city of Chino is somewhat unsuspecting on what they offer. I was surprised to see that in addition to pizza, they sold Hanger 24 beer from Redlands. I was equally surprised to find a Yelp coupon for 10 percent off! We ordered a large pepperoni pizza, and you guessed it......two Hanger 24 IPAs. I don't use this term liberally, but the sauce was amazingly "savory." Clearly homemade and worth the extra expense. No offense to the bigger national chains, but there is no comparison on the taste and the amount of toppings they include. I really liked the crispy, small, round pepperonis. Mountain Mike's also as a salad bar with an all you can eat pizza and salad option for both lunch and dinner. What was really awesome was the servers. Upon entering, two employees greeted my wife and I genuinely. Initially, we were going to take our pizza to go, and they offered us water while we waited.
