Mountain Mikes Pizza is the best! For the last few years, I have had to wait for a yearly trip up to Central California to partake! I would disagree with the bad reviews. We have eaten here numerous times and it's by far the best pepperoni pizza we've had. The buffet is great as well and you can custom order any type of pizza. You may have to wait a bit but to us it's worth it and not any longer of a wait then if you ordered a personal pizza. I have also never encountered a rude employee as of yet. They must be doing something right because the Wednesday evening buffet was a packed house! We will continue to make the 10 min drive to get their pizza. What a great meal. We have been here a few times and have always had a great experience. The employees greeted us as we came in and they were all very friendly. The pizza was great! It was hot and fresh, the pepperoni was plentiful, the cheesy garlic bread was awesome and the salad bar was well stocked and fresh. I will continue to visit this location. read more

We came here for their buffet and unfortunately, it was not nearly as good of an experience. We came around 7 and they didn't have cheesy bread, so we asked if more was coming out. The worker said she'd put in a request and we waited. About 15 minutes later, we asked again, and we were told that it was coming out. Soon after that we asked if more cinnamon bread would be made and we were told that she'd put the order in. 8 PM comes and goes and neither the cheesy bread nor the cinnamon bread came out. When we asked the worker, he simply told us that "sorry, but the buffet is closed." After having requested the items prior to the buffet closing...and multiple times at that...that response was ridiculous. I was very upset given those were actually two of the main reasons I came in the first place. Clearly communication and better customer service were lacking tonight. I wouldn't be as upset if we were told up front that they wouldn't be making more, instead of being lied to and therefore waiting for those items with nothing to show for it. read more

I had the most wonderful Customer Service experience and the most delicious pizza at this location on Friday 9/1/17. The Managerial Team of Carrie and Daniel was nothing short of AMAZING! The two of them were the only employees on duty that day. Daniel was in the kitchen and made some awesome pizza with white sauce which is not only my favorite but I can no longer have red sauce do to a medical condition. So I was elated to see pizza with white sauce at this pizza parlor. It happened to be the afternoon lunch rush and it seemed that everyone was there for the buffet as well as my sister and myself. Carrie had the most positive attitude! She took all the orders, put up the pizza as it came out of the kitchen, she bussed tables, and personally catered to all the customers needs. She managed all this by herself and with a warm, welcoming smile! Next time I'm in Upland visiting my sister, I will be sure to go back to Mountain Mike's Pizza in Chino Hills, CA. All-you-can-eat Wednesdays are amazing. 3 people ate for about $25 including 2 drinks and one beer. Not bad and the pizza is very good-way better than Cicis or shakeys. I've been wanting to try this place out for months, so we finally went for it last night. We ended up getting a large Everest pizza with extra sauce, a large pepperoni pizza with extra sauce, an order of garlic cheese bread, a salad to go, and a 2-liter of Mug Root Beer. The woman who took my order was nice and pleasant over the phone. She offered the cheese bread and soda for $3 more, but my total only came out to maybe $1 more and change than what it would have been online with their BOGO coupon, so that was pretty cool. The sauce was thick and not watered down at all. The Everest pie was awesome and my brother & I loved the Ranch that came with the cheese bread. I loved the spicy pepperoni with its great flavor and a little bit of a kick to it. The regular crust was excellent. My brother went inside to pick up our order while I waited in the car. He said the ladies who helped him were really nice. The prices are a little higher than what I'm used to, but you get what you pay for. Everything was worth the few extra dollars. I used to be a Shift Manager at Pizza Hut in Chino a few years ago and might be interested in applying for a job here as a cook while I continue attending college. Picture digiorno but without the sauce. Sorry but not good pizza. Buffet is all you can eat and I know why, nobody will eat very much. I love eating and love pizza but this place failed miserably. If your interested in this place you should go now because it won't be there much longer. On a side note, the management and the customer service is worse than the pizza. On May 7 th call for delivery of a pizza at 7:00 pm was told not taking orders for 30 minutes. Half hour past called at 7:30 pm and again was told not taking any orders until 8:00 pm but was taking orders take out . In all my years I have never heard of such a practice . Never again!!! read more

Its been awhile since I wrote a review but Mountain Mikes deserves a review from me. Lets be honest about one thing. Pizza is usually not a fucking first choice for most people. Unless you are broke or a fat guy playing MMOs. I have to say though. I actually crave for Mountain Mikes and I have had alot of Pizza in my day. Pizza is what I call stomach filler for when you are broke or don't want to drive anywhere but this place takes it up a notch. How you say.... they take the usual flavors and kick it up a notch. Every pizza I have ordered from this place makes me fucking wish I had more room in my stomach to fill it with an awesome tasting pizza and no...im not broke or a fat guy playing MMOs. I cant really explain it but it taste so good that it is my first choice at times when I am thinking about eating out. I wasn't a fan of the mini pepperoni slices because they were too crispy for my taste. But the bread and crust were good. the staff was very friendly and helpful. I called in my order and was waiting for me when I arrived. They didn't even have to ask for my name. I may try this place again but not the pepperoni. Some of the other menu items look good. I also tried the garlic brad with cheese and it was tasty but would have prefered more cheese and less crispy. I guess it's just my own personal preference. read more

This pizza place just opened up next to the Stater Brothers on Schaefer ave. The atmosphere is very welcoming and clean. The employees are especially kind and courteous and the customer service was excellent. The manager, I think his name is Henry, was super nice! The pizza itself (the vegetarian) was absolutely delicious and the ingredients were fresh and put together nicely. They have a weekday lunch buffet special that I look forward to trying out soon. Today we ordered a large McKinley pizza with a large pepperoni pizza for our son's birthday party. When we got home the pepperoni pizza was only a cheese pizza. I called and talked to the manager on duty and explained what happened. He asked a couple follow up questions and then offered to have a large pepperoni pizza delivered to our home. Seriously had the worst experience here last night. Placed large order of pizza, wings and potato wedges at 4:28pm. The lady taking my order said that the order would be to my house in 50 minutes. At 5:40pm, I called back to see the status of my order and at first, the lady answered the phone told me , clearly without looking up my order, "um it's only been 45 minutes. Your order will be there by an hour" I corrected her and told her I just looked at my phone call log and I had called to place my order WELL OVER an hour ago. After she finally took the time to LOOK UP MY ORDER, she said "ITs on its wAy". Then when the order shows up, I'm missing my potato wedges, the pizza and wings are cold!! So disappointing. They ended up sending someone back out with our wedges order and comped it but sadly, we won't be going back there for pizza. Horrible food and Bas service. Next time they get a phone call about the status of an order, they should actually take the time to look it up. read more

I walked in to pick up an order placed the day before. Two customers ahead of me were both asking for their money back because their pizza wasn't ready. Seems like they had been told it was ready and when they arrived they were told 30 more minutes. When I got to the register they gave me my total and I asked "is it ready?". Two employees start looking into it and tell me there's been a problem and the order was never "sent to the back". I look down at my phone and see my mom ( who ordered the pizza) sent me a text that the pizza is ready. So basically they never made our order, yet called her and told her it was ready. They said it would have been 1 hour to fulfill our order for 3 large pizza. They offered no compensation and said "we're getting a lot of orders". It was Halloween, was this a surprise? Pretty sad considering the pizza is good. They need some leadership in there. We might return for buffet night but we will never order for pick up again. read more
