Service is terrible! I ordered a pizza today May 10th at 630 pm got email woukd be delayed by 1 hr from time I put order in cool. At 820 called store pizza had not been cooked! Excuse i got from the manager the previous shift didnt put in the order! So it's too late to order anywhere else so I say send it on. It is now 3 hrs and still no pizza as I'm typing this. This will be my ladt time ordering from them. Always an excuse for bad delivery times. From blaming the delivery company to just dropping the ball. The owner of the shop refuses to deliver to me because I ordered the delivery minimum. He claims the other store is closer though it's very clear that is not the case. Ordered a couple pizza's last night. My sister wanted substitutions on her pizza which were more than a few. Finally she otdered my pizza and then suddenly decided she wanted tO make changes on mine as well. I only needed ONE change due to a food allergy. I took over the phone and confirmed what I thought had been ordered. Well my order didn't come out right. I called A.J. The manager the next morning to tell him what had happened. He remembered the call due to the length. He said he'd listened in on the calL and told me exactly what had happened. My sister had screwed up. However A.J. Understood the extenuating circumstances and kindly agreed to make me a new pizza at no charge. Talk about FANTASTIC customer service! I was amazed and grateful. Plus the pizza waS really great. I wish I can give ZERO stars. Fraud Alert: we ordered a small pizza for delivery. Total purchase for the order was $30.00. We put $2.00 on the receipt - totaling $32.00 for entire bill. Five days later when I check our credit card - we see a charge at mountain mike's pizza for over $150.00. When we saw the details - they charged us $122.00 for the TIP portion of the receipt! Who gives over 1000% tip for pizza delivery? When we inform the manager - Mandy - she was both RUDE and acted as we were lying. We have a receipt and the copy of the charge from our credit card company. She said she will investigate and call us back - but never did. Wife and I were in m/m Pizza on4/29/10. about 6:30 Ordered a small all meat piks mountain I think and 2 salad bars , 2 drinks and the bill was $30.00. I waited over an hour then called to ask where my pizza was ( I was starving), and was told it was just on its way. Half an hour later, still no pizza. I called again... and they said, oops they made the wrong pizza, and it would be fifteen minutes. It took 2 hours to get my pizza. And when the guy delivered he mysteriously didn't have any change for the 20 I gave him, and to top on the fantastic experience - the chicken was overcooked an tasted like boiled rubber. I went to the Danville Mountain Mike's for lunch last week and was provided the same fresh and delicious meal as in the past. I am writing this review this time because the manager (assistant?) went above and beyond to provide amazing customer service. For the lunch buffet, customers enjoy the salad bar and can order their choice of pizza for the pizza bar. Due to the large, very hungry crowd when I was there, the pizza I had requested was cleaned out by the time I realized it had been served. I requested the same pizza again, but this time the manager (assistant?) personally served me the pizza and gave it to me to take home! Mountain Mike pizza In Danville is the Best! Super Delicious pizza! We order our lunches for Color Bundles' summer camp in Danville and the kids LOVE it! We used to order to another famous pizza shop in Danville, but the kids always complained of too much cheese on their pizzas and would take & throw away most of it or put napkins on the pizza to dry out the fatty oil.. I even buy pizza from them for our private parties at home and cut it in small pieces as appetizers! I recommend this local pizza shop to everyone! read more

I would avoid this place at all costs during weekday lunch. Their kitchen appears completely unable to fulfill the school lunch crowd. I can appreciate that a significant portion of their lunch business comes from the school, however they have completely alienated people like myself. I came here today with two adults and three kids for a quick lunch. After waiting 20 minutes, there were maybe 2 pizzas that came out that were instantly devoured by the awaiting horde of high school kids. When I first spoke with the manager, her response was "sorry, we weren't expecting such a large lunch crowd" and said that another pizza should be ready in 4 minutes. After some discourse, she finally agreed to bring a pizza to the table. I have been coming to this specific location for at least the last year and each successive visit seems to get worse. I appreciate that the manager brought out a pizza to our table to try and correct the issue, however I think I will be seeking out other venues to bring my kids to in the future. read more

I regularly go for the lunch buffet and have found it just wonderful. The people are pleasant and helpful. The atmosphere is relaxed and casual. Unlike many pizza places, it's got big windows and is light enough to actually see your food. The one downside is that it's near a High School, so during the school year there are lunchtimes where the place gets busy (though I've not seen it FULL) and it seems that all they put out for the buffet is pepperoni, but if you ask they'll put out other stuff too (the high schoolers mostly ignore the non-pepperoni). Each person, of course, has their own taste in pizza, but I can highly recommend this as BETTER than any other chain around here. read more
