My buddy and I usually come here for lunch at least once a week. The owners are super friendly and always have an awesome pizza selection for the lunch buffet. The salad bar is clean and kept well plus they have macaroni salad. They know when I come and will say we have it today just for you! They've got a big screen in one room and then another TV in the other room in case we want to watch football. They also have some great beers on tap like Sierra and Sam Adams, which is nice for the occasions we want to enjoy beers with pizza. They are super popular with the high school kids and have a lunch special and after school special and think it's great that they encourage all the kids to come. read more

The pizza is good- not fantastic but it's as good as a chain of pizza places is likely to be. I've always had prompt deliveries here, but that could be because we lived close at the time. I took a star away because when I went in to pick up a pizza last night, I stood around for 10 min cause everyone working was in the back- yeah it was dead in there at 9pm but still would have been nice to have someone behind the counter or have a bell to get their attention. read more

For years we have received countless flyers/coupons in the mail promoting Mountain Mike's multi-franchisee locations around the Bay Area. So on a Tuesday, we ordered a split "dual-mountain" (The Everest & Pike's Peak) small pizza for pickup. We really enjoyed the pizza for its value, crust and ingredients. The staff was very helpful when I picked it up. Naturally I didn't have a coupon but they gave me a first timer small discount with ample sides of red pepper flakes and anchovies. I enjoyed a draft beer and had a fun conversation with the owner! We will be back (says the terminator) for another pizza. Side note: we have been disappointed at the price and quality of a couple pizzas from competitors in Danville.....so a good decision to try Mountain Mike's Pizza! read more

The recent remodeling job is very nice. Big TV's, many beverage options. Always friendly staff and good pizza. I enjoy the salad/pizza bar lunch special but the glass cover over the salad bar is so low it makes you awkwardly bend over so you can reach the toppings. Very awkward to say the least. I have politely suggested they make the SIMPLE fix of loosening four screws and sliding the glass up 4 inches but they don't seem to think it's a problem. read more

Went in on a Tuesday which is their discount night. I think it was 50% off. We arrived and right away was greeted by the woman up front and we saw that they remodeled, it looks great! Very modern. In the age of "artisan" pizzas, there is still a room for that nostalgic slice of a simple perfect pepperoni pizza. My husband and I decided to stop in at Mountain Mike's, after a quick trip to Trader Joe's. The sausage pepperoni pizza did not disappoint - gooey cheese, salty pepperoni, flavorful sausage, and a crisp light crust. Simple and yummy. We didn't realize that this location had a lunch special (salad bar, which looked very nicely stocked with lots of fresh veggies, and pizza) that we will need to check out. Horrible wings. I know that a pizza place is probably not the right place for wings but these were the worst. The honey covered wings were definitely not freshly made. They had soft skin and were barely warm. We probably should have sent them back right away but we were so hungry because the pizza too forever. The buffalo wings were even worse (if this was even possible). They were extremely hot but didn't have any flavor to them at all. The pizza was edible. You can tell it's not made with quality ingredients but at least we could eat it without gagging. Avoid this place if you can but if you happen to be there avoid the wings. read more

Having been to some of their other locations, I thought I knew what to expect. When they said 20 minutes, I allowed 30. I arrive and there is nobody there. Only voices from the back. When the guy does emerges, he tells me 5 more minutes. Nearly an hour from the time I called until he hands me the pies. The floor in the place is extremely dirty with matching bathroom. I get home and discover they shorted me in toppings ( I should have checked), so no return trip to that location. Too many other good pizza places in town. read more

They are always slow with delivery but after nearly 2 hours and a couple of phone calls (where they insisted it would be at our house in 5-10 minutes) when our pizza finally arrived it was cold and the best they could do was offer us a discount on our next pizza. I passed by this location on my search for food before stopping by a bar. It seems like a typical mountain mike's but I felt that the worker had extremely great customer service!!! He asked how my day was, offered us the wifi password without even asking, asked if we lived in the area (to offer us local discounts) and ensured our pizza would be out in a couple of minutes. We didn't even have to ask for anything - we were all taken care of. I could go to any mountain mikes's near me, but I would go back to this location just for that customer service. Our summer camp, Wigalo from Kids Country Montair came for a field trip and the manager was there to greet us as we walked in. We had a section to ourselves and enjoyed a movie as Raj and Lee and a teacher took a few students to the kitchen to prepare their pizza. The staff there was kind, patient, nice, and funny. He helped students that were patiently waiting to make their pizza and also helped students that just needed an extra smile. We really appreciate all that they did for our class to where now they are still mentioning the time they made their pizza and that was a couple weeks ago. Love this place. I've always liked their pizzas, since I was in high school in the '80s. But their GLUTEN FREE pizza is the absolute BEST anyone makes! I've tried ALL of the chains and I will absolutely vouch for this one. You can't even tell its gluten free. It just tastes like a good thin crust pizza. I LOVE Mountain Mike's! This Danville location is excellent, very comfortable. I had a specific request with my pizza order, and the manager not only nailed it, but came to my table two times to make sure I was pleased. Perfect crust, crisp on the outside but nice chew in the middle. Tangy, zesty sauce. That was my request, a tad bit extra sauce because theirs is so good and I'm a big believer in what sauce does for a pizza. Fresh ingredients, well-distributed to the edges. Fantastic flavor. The pizza is sooo good!! There drivers are quick and keep the pizzas warm. There dessert pizza is bomb. There doing new remodeling and it looks great! Love this place and will continue to come.
