We had our Son's dedication lunch party at this Mountain Mikes after we had a last minute issue with our original lunch hall. I called the restaurant owner , Neha to ask if the restaurant had a party room available for me 2 days prior. And she immediately said YES! No problem bring them over. They accommodated my party of 40 so we'll. Food was amazing, fresh and delicious. All the employees were so friendly and helpful and constantly kept checking on my guests to make them all comfortable. I'm so happy I contacted them . This was a very memorable lunch for my little boy. Neha, Rajesh and their team is soo amazing . I would totally do my partygoers here again and I 100% recommend you to do so as well. Very disappointed in the customer service! Tonight we ordered a pizza, garlic sticks, and the new garlic knots. When I went to pick up, the employee, very matter of factly, and unapologetically, told me that they ran out of garlic so they cancelled my order. I was honestly floored. I get that restaurants run out of stuff, it happens, but he seemed to care less about the inconvenience this caused after I had already waited, driven to pick up, and now had nothing. I asked if they at least made the pizza and he said "no." He then asked me if I wanted to wait for him to make the pizza. Again, without any apology or acknowledgement of the inconvenience. I asked him if it was customary to simply cancel an order without telling the customer. He then said "we called you but you didn't answer." With a number of children in the house, I did see a missed call from an unknown number. However with no name, and no voicemail left, I assumed it was a mistake or spam. There was no way of ever knowing it was the restaurant calling to tell me there was an issue with my order. I left with no pizza, no apology, and no "you know whats" given. This is a takeout review. Mountain Mikes gained a customer since they send out coupons in the weekly circulars. I try not to eat here because they do cost more then your average pizza place. However the quality is spectacular. They offer dinner and lunch buffets that are priced reasonably well. I looked at the salad station and it was not only very appetizing but clean! They also have beers on tap. What more could you ask for. All you can eat lunch buffet $7.99 All you can eat dinner buffet $8.99 Kids under 10 lunch or dinner $4.99 Our food tasted great and we had plenty of leftovers for the next day. They have a customer appreciation card. After your 6th purchase of pizza it ends up being free. read more

FYI under new horrible cheap management! So me and my husband went for lunch got 2 pizza buffets. The order came to almost $30 for 2 ppl with drinks included. first of all the soda fountain did not have any soda and the cashier says oh yes we're waiting for the soda to come I said ok and that's all he says . I said well can I get a bottled soda he gives us a bottled one. the salad bar has old veggies and the lettuce was not washed properly . the pizza you can tell it had been out it was hard and cold . Ok they bring new pizza out after waiting maybe 15 min.The new pizza first of all the pizza had no Marina sauce it tasted very dry . Mountain Mike's Pizza has always been a favorite of mine. My go to is a large Snowy Alps with extra green onions. DA BEST. I recently came here on a Friday night with a large group and they took care of us! We used the side room they had to host our little get together. Pizza came out hot and fresh and the employees were amazing they came by periodically to check in and wanted to make sure we were taken care of. Pros: -Clean restaurant -Serves beer/soda -Pizza is hot and fresh -Call in ahead for your pizza or delivery -Can serve large parties -Salad bar -Plenty of parking -Great for big parties -Afterward stop by iTea for ice cold boba! I am glad I chose this location on my way home from San Francisco to satisfy my craving for my fav Everest pizza..I have my personal favorites and this location is now on my list...it was my first time ordering from this location and it was a wonderful experience. Came here for the lunch special. $15 for two people total. What I like about the AYCE lunch is that the slices are not so huge that you end up filling up on just one kind of pizza; they are small so that you can enjoy a multitude of flavors. Salad bar has very mediocre veggies, but you don't expect that to be the star in a pizza place. Amazing experience with Ali. Ordered some pizzas for an event and they were so tasty. Everyone enjoyed them. They were ready quickly and Ali provided plenty of plates, napkins, pepper, etc. He even helped carry the boxes to my car. I tried calling over the phone by asking google to call nearest MMP. These folks were super rude on the phone, they mumbled so i had a hard time understanding them on the phone, and when I called back they didn't answer the phone. When I was done ordering I confirmed they were the MMP on Golf Club and they said yes but they were really on CC blvd and just auto yes'd me. So, I drove to two wrong MMPs trying to get my pizza and when they called me to see why I hadn't picked up the pizza yet I told them they didn't answer the phone and yes'd me without listening to me they hung up on me.... Excellent service. Friendly staff. Standard quality as you would expect from any Mountain Mike's. They were a little backed up perhaps because it was Saturday night but the owner was kind enough to offer free sodas and she treated the doordasher with extra kindness. Normally I don't do this but today I'm making an exception. I tried calling the Mountain Mikes located in the Safeway shopping center on Contra Costa Blvd in Pleasant Hill today. When I tried placing my delivery order over the phone, the employee that I spoke with couldn't get my order correct which resulted in me having to not only change my order but I also had to repeat my address literally 4 times. After the third time I had to repeat it, she said "hold on, what was your address again?" I tell her again and spell it out and when I finished her response was "so are we good?" I told her we're good as long as you have the correct address. Her response again was "So...are we good?" At this point, I decide to cancel my order and she slams the phone in my ear. So, I drive down to order in person as it's down the street from my house. When i walk into the store, I asked to speak with a manager, the employee at front counter walks into back of kitchen, comes back and says "there's no manager here. What is it you want?" I now realize this is who I just spoke with on the phone. So, I say to her "I just called in and tried to place an order. Was it you that i spoke with?" She says yes and I told her the manner in which she spoke to me over the phone was disrespectful. Her response was "So how was I disrespectful?" I tell her that "So, are we good" multiple times over the phone is bad customer service. She then tells me, and I quote, "I don't give a fuck and you can get the fuck out! You cancelled your order." By this point, a guy working in back comes out, looks at me and puts up his hands up with a shrug basically telling me that not only do I apparently get cursed at but now that I have been forcefully told to find the exit, it's now time for me to leave. If I wasn't so taken aback by all of this, as I was only trying to order pizza and a salad for Sunday night football, I would've taken a picture of Sundays worst employee to accompany this lengthy review. Needless to say, I'll never order from this location again let alone the franchise if this is how they freely choose to treat customers. read more

Had a coupon so tried the Large Mt. Everest and the toppings were good and plentiful but that's it. The slice is dense and each slice was a thick layer of dough. I can understand the crust being doughey but not the whole slice. The bottom of the slice felt like cardboard, it was that rough and dry. I can see why they call it Mt. Everest. The restaurant itself is small and half of the tables weren't clean with prior people's food still there. They obviously need another person working to bus the tables. A nice knock off of Round Table. Only plus is for the parking since it's in the same lot as Safeway. read more

Walked into Mountain Mike's 10 minutes before they were closing on Fourth of July. Anuj was planning on closing up to go watch the fireworks with his family but he stayed open for us because we were starving. We had the salad bar which was super fresh and delicious. Mountain Mikes has always been one of my favorite pizza places that's why I usually order from here. Their pizza is great don't get me wrong but yesterday I ordered a pepperoni bacon pizza and later that night and this morning everyone started getting food poisoning. Never have I ever got food poisoning from pizza! That's the only thing all of us ate that day so I know for a fact it was the pizza. I paid $40 for an extra large pizza just for most of my family to get food poisoning off it. read more

I walked into this Mountain Mikes at the last minute to get a small pizza for my daughter and I didn't expect to be greeted by such a delightful woman. I didn't catch her name but she made quite the impression. When I left, I told my husband that we will go out of our way to get pizza here because these are the kind of business owners I prefer to give our money to.
