There was no one in the store and yet we had to wait half an hour for a small 8 inch pizza that was already on the counter. They ignored my son (I was waiting in the car bc I didn't think it would take that long!) when he went in. He stood at the counter while they walked back and forth in the kitchen, behind a low swinging door (they can see when customers walk in). Finally one of them acknowledged my some and told him it'll be 7 minutes. 25 minutes later they told my son that it's coming up. I told my son to come to the car and I went in. "Harry" said he was busy talking on the phone. Gave no explanation as to why they told us to wait half an hour and didn't give the pizza, which was on the counter all this time, to my son when he was in here. All Harry said was that he was on the phone. Had I not gone in, we would probably be there until they closed the store at 12am. Worst customer experience ever. Would never go back and will continue to let others know about this horrible experience. No amount of explanation will justify this experience. And the pizza was freaking cold! And it's shady as heck in that parking lot at 10:30pm. In short, don't waste your time and money there. Horrible horrible horrible!!! read more

They are located in the same strip mall as Safeway. It was a little hard to spot at 1st. They are tucked away in the right hand side corner. Parking lot and parking was easy, not an issue. At roughly 11:40am on 11/9/2025 I ordered cheese sticks through Grubhub app and went in a few minutes later to pay and add on a soda. The man behind the counter was rude, talked back, and flippant over anything and anything after the first shitty encounter. I still had to wait 20 minutes for my food even though there was no one else in the store. No one in the store at lunch time should have been my first clue as to how bad this place was. He even got my simple order of cheese sticks wrong. On top of all that, the cheese sticks tasted awful and so did the marinara sauce. If you like to be treated nicely, don't go here. If you like cheeses sticks, don't go here. I will never go to another Mountain Mike's based off of this experience. Crappy food from crappy people. read more

Had delivery from here after having tried this brand of pizza for the first time recently when a friend got some near their place in Pleasanton - it was one of the best pizzas I've had in a long time so I decided to order the same thing & add some extras - expecting to get an even better pizza - what I got here at this location was not even anything resembling the one I had there! I was in such shock! How can a chain have quality be that different? This was nothing the same & not at all even good - a frozen pizza would have been better! 7-11 has better food! I felt so let down to spend so much on all the extra toppings too ($50 for a medium!) & they forgot the most important one for me (bbq sauce) which would not even have made up for the fact the pizza was cold & just barely had any flavor - it tastes so bad I couldn't even eat one piece - couldn't even give it to the dogs! (All crust) It was so nothing at all like the one I had from the other Mountain Mike's in Pleasanton that I almost couldn't stop eating & made me want it agai ! It was the same pizza supposedly yet totally different! I rarely ever order pizza & this was supposed to cheer me up during a hard time but instead it made me more depressed. I guess the universe just wasn't on my side! I just don't know how they could make such totally different pizzas (that were supposed to be the same!) at the same chain - in 2 different places...I worked as a pizza cook for my first job & so I know a lot about them - has anyone else noticed such great disparities amongst different towns/locations? Since lockdown took a lot of normal traditions away, my mom wanted to just have pizza for Mother's Day 2020. The food hasn't changed in a bad way. It's kinda greasy, it's ok food. I realized that Mountain Mike's only really hit the spot because we had a couple drinks, and that was it. If we weren't a bit buzzed, then we'd never think of coming here. I ordered a Large Combination with Extra Cheese and I could tell before I took a bite that the pizza was made exactly how I like it. Cooked perfectly with lots of toppings. So delicious ! I am normally a Domino's customer, but yesterday I decided to try Mountain Mike's for the first time. It was a straightforward process that was carried out without a hitch! I placed my order through their app and received a discount of twenty percent. The pizza was ready on schedule and had a scalding temperature when it was served. When I stepped inside, I was greeted with the sight of the entire staff working there. They were all with gloves and masks. I was greeted by someone straight away. When I walked in, they had just finished cutting my pizzas and were offering me plates, napkins, and anything else I needed. They provided me with additional packets of cheese and crush pepper. The pizza was of very high quality. I went with a half and half and it just hit the mark. It was not greasy like the food at other locations, and the preparation was excellent. I ordered a extra large Pizza tonight, I always go to this location because the service is wonderful, and the men that work here are extremely friendly, I did have one problem. I ordered to have pineapple put on my pizza when I got home I realized they forgot to put the pineapple on the pizza, but that's OK and the reason why is they always make things right, it was no problem at all. They actually brought the pineapple to my house and I have a 30% coupon for my next pizza they eat from brought a salad and a drink.
