So I decided to wonder over to this restaurant while waiting for a friend to go shopping in Westfield Shopping Center. Walked in....kind of a unique place....everyone seems relaxed and friendly. Looked at the menu...I decided on the Mo'z Burger and a Coke. I placed my order at the counter and picked a table to sit at. While waiting for my food. You could sit by the window and watch the traffic and the people going in and out of the Westfield Shopping Center. A short while the Burger came with Cheese and Hash Browns and my drink. There were free refills on the drinks. The burger looked smaller than the bun....but after biting into the burger.....you can taste the meat and all of it condiments. This turned out to be a not too bad burger and the Hash Browns were ok. I think I'll be back when in the area. This place has AC outlets to allow you to power up your computer. For a nice breakfast spot near the Moscone Center, look no further. Mo'z serves up breakfast dishes, crepes, sandwiches, and coffee/tea drinks with friendly, fast service. Portions are generous, and prices are very reasonable for this area. One thing to note is that their crab cake is not made from real crab, just imitation crab, although it is a reasonable price because of this factor. We were looking to have something light for a late lunch and I had passed by here on my way to Blue Bottle so I suggested we try this place because it was away from the busyness of Market St. You order at the register and they take the food to you. Water is self serve. With the menu on the wall, there were plenty of options that appealed to me. We were saving our appetite for dinner so the portion we split was good enough to hold us till. We ordered a tuna sandwich with a cesar salad as a side. They were nice enough to serve it on separate plates. The sandwich consisted of egg, tomato, sweet relish, and sprouts. It was tasty. Mo'z is located just a few blocks from where I stayed in SF so I stopped in for breakfast before my last day of playing tourist. Apparently they do not have AC. I noticed it felt warm when I first walked in but it really wasn't too bad once I sat down. If it's a hot day, this might not be the best choice for a meal. The menu is very large but I went with the breakfast burrito and an iced coffee. The iced coffee was okay, not especially smooth but fine with some milk and sugar tossed in. The breakfast burrito was great. I got mine without jalapenos and it still had a little kick. The burrito was huge and stuffed with eggs, cheese, and veggies. Strolling along toward AT&T park trying to kill a little time before the game starts, I knew I would of been hungry so we stopped by this place to grab a quick brunch. A casual dining place where you pay before you eat. Had a fairly large menu with good selection. I tried the Reuben sandwich with mixed greens on the side and thought is was good. For $11.95 I wish there was just a little more pastrami and sauerkraut on it. But the thousand island dressing tasted really good. The bread was toasted perfectly and cheese was really gooey. You order at the counter they give you a number and they deliver and pick up your food when you are done. Ordered the corned beef hash with scrambled eggs instead of poached eggs and cleaned the entire plate. Also had a cup of hot chocolate with whip and a surprisingly decent portion of side fruits. Didn't expect my order to take as long as it did. Got carried away on my phone and realized I waited almost 25min and it was not busy. Oh well. That's the reason for the 3 stars. This review is for take-out only. We needed to grab breakfast on the run and saw this restaurant across the street from our hotel. They have a pretty extensive breakfast menu with many smaller options that are great if you are on the move. We ordered over the phone 7 different types of bagel and english muffin breakfast sandwiches and they were ready to be picked up within 15 minutes. I have walked by this place on my way to work for a year and a half and it is always PACKED. I made a mental note to go in there when I had the opportunity. This morning I walked passed and there were very few people there. The menu is vast and so it took me a little while to choose an order. I ended up getting the Croissant Sandwich and Iced Coffee. My husband and I were looking for breakfast and didn't want a chain restaurant. The staff the friendly as they took our order and we had a seat by the window. My husband loved the fresh orange juice and devoured his pancake breakfast. I had the French toast with strawberries. It was really good. Not soggy but not hard, had a nice flavor. Only downside to the window seat was watching all the homeless come and go, including two who decided to relieve themselves across the way. Mo'z is at a convenient spot, being a short walk from Powell St. station but not quite in the most crowded part of downtown. I went there for breakfast with a friend; I got the french toast and she got the Belgian waffles. The French toast was good, but it didn't come with any strawberries, and no whipped cream. The Belgian waffles were better (especially since they came with a lot more fruit and whipped cream), but still nothing special. Iced coffee and orange juice were, following the trend, perfectly average. Overall, this place passes as a typical breakfast spot, and it does the job. But it's definitely nothing to write home about, especially in San Francisco. Although I enjoyed my meal, if I'm ever looking for breakfast in DTSF, I'll be walking a block or so down to Homeskillet. read more

3.5 stars really. I was here with the family this AM before hitting the new MOMA. Four stars for the ambiance. You cant tell from the outside, but this place is charming and cute on the inside. Huge chalkboard menu, nice dark wood tables everywhere. Cozy, but not quite cramped. This would be a nice place to park for a while mid-morning during the week, and sip an Americano as you clear your email. You order before you get seated, and the lead waiter guy was really good about making sure nobody got to order from behind us in line before he found us a spot. Thumbs up for integrity! He found us four seats at the window counter, and didn't even charge us extra for the people-watching. Three stars for the food. We all split a salmon scramble, & a breakfast croissant, which were both pretty good, nothing mind-blowing; the hash browns tasted a little old like they'd been around the skillet a few too many times. I would rate this as an average cafe - nothing wrong with it, but nothing that makes it stand out either. I ordered the croissant sandwich (because I didn't see the Benedict side of the menu or else I would have ordered that!). The sandwich was just like a typical egg sandwich, but I wish the fruit was more fresh. It seemed the pineapple was from a can. My boyfriend ordered the Reuben which was actually really good! He said he wishes there could have been more pastrami though. Stopped here for a tasty lunch yesterday after a bunch of meetings in the city- due to location and (lack of nearby) parking, this is a place much better suited to those days when you aren't tethered to a car. Picked out what I wanted to eat prior to coming in using online menu, then couldn't find the sandwich I wanted- thought it had the word pesto in the name. Ordered the crab melt on sourdough with a side caesar instead, then promptly found the first sandwich on the menu as soon as I sat town (Grilled Chicken, duh). Stuck with my original order though. Restaurant itself is clean, service was good, meal came out relatively quick and a line began to develop- apparently this place draws quite a late-lunch crowd. Food was tasty- generous amount of both crab salad and caesar salad, and both were good. Almost stuck to half the sandwich, but I'm a glutton and inhaled them both. Still gotta go back for that pesto sandwich, though! Side note: the bathroom requires buzzing in, ask the front counter. However, if you don't hear a buzz and the door won't open, it's probably because there's a dude inside- made that mistake and embarrassed myself when he finally came out. Oops. read more

Best cheap Benedict in town. I'm a lover of Eggs Benedict, will order it whenever it appears on a menu (kind of the same deal with chocolate cake). I happened to wander into Mo'z one day when I was visiting someone nearby. I noticed the price for the Eggs Benedict and assumed it would be some awful rendition of a dish. Turns out it's bloody lovely. My only suggestion is to get the hash browns with it otherwise you'll be getting a fruit bowl as your side. The sauce is nice and thick, the eggs are usually perfect, and the buns are nice. It's not the best Eggs Benedict in SF but my word it's great for such a price tag. The staff are great too and if the owner is in you're usually treated to some nice banter. Little tip, you can get stuff from Mo'z delivered on Postmates. This has made my consumption of Eggs Benedict go through the roof. read more

Mediocre breakfast. Good location and decent enough space, but the food, or at least the breakfast is definitely not superior to what any average person can make at home. I had the "basic breakfast". Scrabbled eggs were overlooked and eggs must have been the very small. The ham was the highlight. Toast - just your average bread from a supermarket but it was toasted sufficiently. Cappuccino was decent. Not great but not bad. So, a 65/100 or 3 stars. At least there wasn't any line-ups. Go to Dotties instead. read more
