Worked with Mark I believe he is the owner. Honest man, went there for a full break pad service. Also thinking I needed rotors. Only because other shops told me yes I needed this done. Shopped around found Mr. Breaks. Ended up leaving the shop with no full break service done other then a pad cleaning and rotor spray down. At no charge. Tipped the shop employees that worked on the car and that was it. Mark stated I did not need a break job at this time and that's a honest man. He didn't try to jack me for no reason. I needed my break pads to be changed. Toyota was pretty pricey so I looked at different places. I first went to Midas, Midas was trying to charge me so much and giving false car issues. Midas said my rear break pads & rotor needed to be completely changed. My front break pads needed to be changed also. AND my shocks & struts were leaking. Charging me $700+. Toyota never mentioned about my shocks & struts leaking so my gut was telling me no and I left. Mind you, my car is 2018 Toyota Highlander with 49,000 miles. After Midas quoting me the price, I called Mr Brake and asked him if he had any availability. He said "if you can get here within 10-15 mins I can make time for you." However it took 10-15 mins for Midas to get my car back together, I called Mr Brake back and told him the time I'll get there and if he can still see me, he said "yes come on over, just drive safely" For him to say drive safely, I immediately felt he was caring. Upon arrival, he looked at my car and said ONLY your break pads need to be changed. The rotors are good and your struts and shocks are good. I got so teary eyed and emotional to hear the good news. My new to me dog haulers brakes felt spongy and i took it in expecting to need new brakes all the way round.They got me right in at our appointed time, checked it and told me i just needed a minor $30 adjustment and that i had a good 12k miles (2 years of driving for this car for me) before I would want to get new pads. Came in for only resurface my rotors, they advised that pads need replaced, which was true due to the previous owner telling me but I forgot about it. The office/waiting area is small, but comfortable. Mark is very helpful and friendly. It only took them about 10 minutes to find the issue and he gave me all the options. You know the feeling of suspicion... a business or government principality tells you a service or process they provide will take 3 to 7 business days and you're doubtful it has to take so long... Then you call Mr Brake like hey my brakes are crap can I come in there and the appointment is made fast, they get you name number why you think your brakes are crap and in less than 2 minutes you're off the phone and the appointment is set. Then you show up hopefully on time to your appointment and they tell you maybe 45 minutes we'll have you out of here. Then they do. There's no fluff or waste or nonsense. It's raining in Vegas. As I'm leaving the groomer across the street I feel what I think is an issue with my brakes and then I see the Mr. Brake's signage, so I figure this is my literal sign. I drive straight there. While I'm printing my name and address on the paperwork, the OWNER does an inspection on all 4 brakes. Five minutes later I'm told I have about 7,000 miles on my pads and what I thought I felt when I was driving was my ABS in the rain. Am I too old to get ripped off? They won't even take my money! I've never gone anywhere for a brake inspection and left without having spent at least $500. 10/10 recommend. The one time in Las Vegas I took a gable and I won. read more

I've been there twice during the last year. They are HONEST! First, tire rotation. Paid $12.00. Then second, brake inspection, they said I still have 50% thickness on my brake lining so THEY DIDN'T CHARGE ME ANYTHING. They told me they will charge me $415 once they will replace! Amazing, honest service!!! I originally took my car to another well know shop for a brake inspection & was quoted close to $1300 for front and rear brakes (for a 2015 Hyundai Santa Fe sport - nothing special). When I questioned the other shop as to WHY the rotors needed replacing when the car only has 51,000 miles they gave me some spiel about "cars not being made the same as they used to" & it supposedly needed rotors too. Complete BS!! Mark was super honest, told me my car only needed front pads (same thing my Dad told me) -$240 total & still have a good 50% wear on the rear brakes. Was SO nice to finally find an honest shop that's not trying to scam you. They were super FAST too, brakes completed in about 45 mins.
