I love this place. No matter what I order, it's delicious. This week I got the Falafel for the first time. Wow, so good. Melt in your mouth good. They are definitely a favorite now. I also got hummus and chips. Omg, why ever go to a grocery store for hummus when you can get the real thing? I don't think I've ever had anything so good, as well as the chips with their seasoning, and you get so much! Finally, I got beets. I love beets but hate making them so this is terrific that they have them also, and really tasty. In the end, I definitely got much more than my money's worth. And, they are just so so kind! This place is okay. It's good if you want remotely healthy takeout in the Morgan Hill area. That being said, I have only had the vegetarian platter here so I cannot comment on all of their food. I don't care for the baba ganoush but the hummus is good. It has some spice. Falafel and dolma are good too and I enjoy the tomato and cucumber salad. Falafel is tiny. The tabouleh is good as well. It's better than I have had at other places. It has the right amount of vinegar. Why only three stars? It's decent food, but it's not amazing...especially compared to other places in San Jose and the Bay Area. I also find it be slightly overpriced for the portion size you receive. I have higher standards than most because Mediterranean food is one of my favorite types of food to eat and I eat it often. I have traveled to Israel and Greece so I know good Mediterranean food when I have it. I'll continue to come back here from time to time...but I'll leave my review at three stars. read more

Absolutely delicious food. That's first off. Next, the service is incredible. They've really got a well-oiled machine when it comes to operations and service here, from the woman who runs the place to the personable cook, to the kind, professional server. Umm not seeing why this place is rated so high. The customer service needs some work. When we came in at 8:00 pm they were trying to close up. I'm fine with people trying to get out early. But it was pretty crappy service. The food was just ok. I had a chicken wrap that had all sorts of mystery meat in it. That was not chicken. Wasn't terrible just not amazing hence the 3 stars. Good Food, Terrible Attitude. They forgot to put pitas into my takeout order once and I did not find out until home already. But I thought the rest of their food was authentic Middle Eastern and quite tasty. My biggest issue is with the sour attitude of the disabled owner, who is consistently rude and oblivious to good customer service. You should NEVER insult or put down or make fun of your staff or your paying customers. People find it offensive and take their money elsewhere. I can find good Thai or seafood or veggie cuisine just a block away and be treated like a valued customer. You, the owner, do not value me or respect me as a person and that motivates me not to return to your shop. Love this restaurant. Simple with great outdoor seating. The deli case to the left of the cash register boasts best salad, taziki and other yummies that literally force you to order them as they look delicious. The homemade chips are super yummy and i have no idea what the seasoning is. The hummus plate was large and Illini with a great protein pop! My coworker got the salad that was amazing. Just passing through Morgan Hill looking for a place to eat where we came across this place Mr Falafel. Yelp had great reviews so we decided to give it a try and man are we glad we did. Art is the owner and the man taking orders and he's a really kool guy and very friendly. We ordered chicken shawarma wraps with garlic fries and a kabob plate. Everything was fresh and hot and full of flavor. This was my wife's first time trying Mediterranean food and she was hook thanks to Art and he's awesome staff. Don't drive too fast or you might miss it. This tiny hole in the wall in downtown Morgan Hill is a precious gem. Although the place is small, the menu is extensive. Seating is available outside for dine in. My husband orders the shawarma salad and I ordered the chicken kebab plate. Not knowing how big the portions would be, we also ordered appetizers. We ordered hummus and pita. The owner suggested that for a dollar more, we can upgrade the hummus and pita bowl to one with falafel also. Excellent suggestion! It came with 4 falafels and they were delicious! The pita bread was warm and toasted and the hummus was creamy and very tasty. BTW, the portions were large. Their food was bursting with flavor and everything tasted just right. The salad was fresh and satisfying. I will definitely be coming back next time I'm in the area.
