I love Mac and Cheese but Mr. Macs was a disappointment. Just imagine bland pizza cheese on macaroni and that's what it was. Yes it was hot. Yes it was goopy. The problem was there was absolutely no flavor, just a calorie bomb of hot bubbly blandness. Definitely not worth the calories. Some buttered breadcrumbs browned on the top could've added a little bit more interest but I doubt this place uses real butter in anything. So why the comparison to pizza cheese? They served it in a pizza box and it smelled like I had ordered a pizza - hot cheese and steamed cardboard. The thing with pizza cheese, however, is that it is paired with a tangy, acidic sauce to create a yummy flavor profile. But the cheese by itself is boring. And unfortunately the Mac and Cheese at Mr. Macs is too. read more

This restaurant is unique and fantastic. Every single dish is great. The workers are all really nice and helpful. I frequent Mr. Macs and usually get the chicken bacon ranch mac and it's alway delicious. I recommend this restaurant to anyone who even remotely likes mac n cheese. read more

I was on my way to another restaurant when I noticed this place and decided to eat here instead. Mac n' Cheese is my favorite comfort food so I was very excited. When I got inside, the owner and employees greeted me with a smile and explained their menu. I ordered the a medium Cheese Please, which has 4 different types of cheese. It was served in an iron skillet, piping hot with the cheese perfectly melted and browned on top. The flavor was unique with the 4 different cheeses. It was delicious! There are only a few tables inside but they do take out orders and deliver also. The staff was very friendly and service was good. Although it's not a full service restaurant where you have a waiter, the young lady that took my order brought my food out to me and offered to pick up my table for me. Love to see a good selection of mac & cheese. They also have some prepared for you to take home and cook in your own oven. I have done both dine-in and the take home, and they are both great. Very good comfort food, albeit a little pricey. I like the funny meme plates and the staff is very friendly. The assistant gm was a really nice guy. I got the "yes cheese" plate with bacon. It was just a little oily but ultimately was tasty! My husband got the pulled pork mac and loved it. He got the medium size which ended up being way too much for one serving for him. I should start this by saying I love mac and cheese and they pretty much sold me by just being there with this concept. But it's the whole deal here. From out of town, but found it easily by spotting the sign about 50' in the air. Plenty of parking too. Was heartedly greeted by one of the employees as soon as we entered and he helped us to navigate the expansive menu. Sat in one of the tall pub tables and a few minutes later we were presented with our individual iron skillets of mac and cheese. I had the classic bacon and cheese one and thought it was cooked perfectly, tasted awesome and savored every bite too. For the wife and I, for two mac and cheese dishes, sodas was under $20. What is there to really say here. They do mac & cheese and do it great. It is one of my and my son's go to spots. They have tons of selections but I particularly like the buffalo chicken, deluxe cheeseburger, pulled pork, and beef taco. The employees are also always very friendly and helpful which you don't always see. This place has the best mac-n-cheese I have had in a long time, and a variety that is amazing enough to satisfy even the most picky palette. I personally got the bacon cheeseburger mac and it was warm and flavorful, and my wife got the taco mac that was just the right amount of spice! It is also not too costly, and great for big events. They apparently do giant bowls for your big parties, and I for one would consider that. Next time I plan on trying the lobster mac, because its lobster! Oh and they rotate things out, so sometimes there is new things to try! read more

I love the take & bakes that this restaurant offers and it is my go-to for quick meals or for larger parties. I do tend to avoid going to the restaurant for sit down meals on the weekends because they can get crowded and then service tends to be slow. (Would be so, so much better if they could get a second register.) I will give them five stars, however, because the food is delicious and simply hope that they expand or move to a bigger location. read more

We had to try Mr Mac's after seeing it multiple times visiting Manchester. We have a large family with multiple tastes but we all can agree on Mac & Cheese, so with that we stopped in. First impression was good as the store was clean and neat, we were greeted as we entered. There were a few customers but not crowded. The menu is pretty straight forward, though having hand written signs with multiple specials made the our choice tough. Each of us got a different Mac & Cheese, all small sizes. All of us enjoyed what we got, from the Cheeseburger to the Lobster salad. A bit pricey, but we left with extra's. I've been here a few times now and have been impressed each time. My favorite dish is the Cheese Please! There food is delicious & service is fast & friendly. The portions are a good size. A small is enough for 1 person and a medium will leave you with some left overs. I only gave it 4 stars because of the cost. This was my first visit to this establishment. The place was clean and bright. The servers friendly and service fast. Although it was mid afternoon, there was a good number of people there. The food came fast. I ordered lobster Mac. It was served in a small cast iron frying pan (cute!). It was good but the lobster pieces were so tiny you couldn't really taste them and were overpowered by the sharp cheese. In my opinion, a milder cheese and larger pieces of lobster would have improved this dish significantly. I also got a "take n bake" of shrimp scampi Mac n cheese which I heated up at home. I'm from the Midwest and was stopping by on a business trip. While the variety of mac and cheese is amazing, i thought the overall quality was a 7/10. It could have been the Philly cheesteak mac I tried, but after the first few bites I was over it. Love the Blazin Buffalo Mac! Overall a great place but a tad overpriced in my opinion.

Mmmmm. Needed to feed 5 so we got a medium Pulled Pork Mac, a small American Chop Suey Mac, and a small Create Your Own Bacon, Cheddar, Mozzarella Mac, delivery . The portions were slightly smaller than I expected but not terrible. The pulled pork Mac was sweet, after awhile it became a little too much, but it was very tasty. The American chop Suey wasn't really Mac and cheese, I would add extra cheese if your looking for it. The create your own got rave reviews from everyone who had it, specifically the picky eaters in the group. The only complaint I have is the online ordering system they used. It's called ChowNow and it has a clunky interface and doesn't allow you to pay with cash on delivery. However the delivery was prompt, the food was hot and tasty, and we'd definitely try it again. read more
