We ordered quite a bit of food and our server timed everything perfectly so no meals overlapped, giving us time to digest and enjoy our drinks between courses. A majority of their menu includes nuts, and I have a tree nut allergy. I was able to alter my orders a bit to accommodate my allergy but the level of care the staff provided to put my mind at ease, without me asking mind you, was truly what I would consider above and beyond service. My server made sure what I ordered was safe for me to eat by personally checking food labels as well as speaking with the head chef and then the manager came out to confirm that my orders were nut free AND the staff would be changing gloves to avoid any cross contamination. I mean, wow! After we finished eating, we went to the gift shop (which is a must visit!) and explored the hotel and got to see some truly unique and deeply thoughtful pieces of art by the incredibly talented, Tina Mion. Highly recommended for anyone interested in a unique dining experience and in a small town not too far from Flagstaff, if you're willing to make the drive!

The rice noodles were cooked just right, not overcooked. There were far more vegetables than I expected, which was a welcomed surprise. The chicken was tender, flavorful, and plentiful. I enjoyed every bite. I went to the pay and the total was a little less than $20. I only had two 20s, so I gave the pretty lady a $20 and asked for change, wanting to pay the bill with my other 20. She gave me the difference from the price of the bill and the 20. I giggled and gave her the other 20 and asked for change. Then, she realized what I was asking. Unfortunately, it seems that business had been slow, because I got a $5 and a bunch of dollar bills. I left the change from the bill and a nice tip. As I was leaving a truck pulled up. LOVE this place! We make it a point to stop for lunch whenever we travel thru Holbrook. Today, we really enjoyed stuffed sopapillas - stuffed to the top with delicious chili and beans and smothered with green chili and cheese. Also had the chicken tacos! Super yummy - had the taco plate and had no trouble devouring all three. Almost forgot - also had the chili smothered fries - great way to start lunch. We went on a slow Saturday morning. Very nice waitress. We had low expectations because the place was empty with a limited breakfast menu. We had the huevos rancheros with green chili, a ham and cheese omelet, and the kids had cinnamon toast with sausage. Everything was delicious and was served within 10 minutes of ordering. Arguably the top two Mexican restaurants in town. Their brunch doesn't disappoint. They're never too busy and always ready to appease clientele with great customer service.
