The Pho was delicious, the family friendly, and the interior very cozy. Good prices, large portions, and solid flavors. I thought my pho needed a little bit of extra fish sauce and they brought me some. Private lot and plenty of parking available!

Good service and fresh tasting food. As we walked in we were told we could seat ourselves which was nice of them to offer and quickly got us menus and our drink orders. We also started with a couple of appetizers. We shared the edamame and egg rolls. The egg rolls were quite filling and the edamame was perfect to snack on throughout the meal. I also had the honeydew boba which was delicious and ordered the rare steak with brisket pho (Pho Tai Chin) as my entree. The pho was perfect size for me not too large where I couldn't finish but also not too small where I was left hungry. The broth had good flavor and the side of garnish was also just right for us to share. For those with bigger appetites I would suggest to get an appetizer or add more protein to the pho since typically there is not a lot of protein in these types of noodle soup bowls. Overall the staff was friendly and the prices were average. I would recommend ordering pho here and would come back again.

Came across Mr. Pho while checking out the Asian store next to it. It's small and quaint, welcoming ambiance. Service was good. We ordered a Pho, a rice dish with meat, and a Bahn-mi sandwich. They were all good tasting with good flavors, but major downside was how each order had very few meat pieces, even our 7 year old pointed it out. The pho was also more onion than noodles.

The atmosphere is so calm and the staff are attentive and welcoming. I got the iced tea and tofu spicy lemongrass noodle bowl, plus the tofu spring rolls. My husband, a big meat eater, LOVED the tofu spring rolls! (He never eats tofu). I look forward to going to Mr. Pho again, it's a great place.

Incredible spot to check out! The owner or chef came out to take my order and check up, he's was so warm and welcoming. The pho broth was on point! So delicious*chef kiss Lots of to go orders coming out of this place and they had a good rep with all the customers coming to pick up. First timers to this cozy little spot. From the outside, it just seemed like a standard business front, but as you walked inside, it was very charming and right away made you feel at home. My sister and I both had appetizers, my sister the egg rolls, and I the pot stickers, simply "Yum!" We both had the Pho for our main lunch entrees, my sister the rare steak & brisket, and I the shrimp, for what we concluded was "very satisfyingly tasty" (the broth itself, very flavorful and delicious!). The service was friendly, filled with smiles, and a very accommodating staff. Much more to try and discover. We are so happy we came across this new find and will most certainly be back! We both recommend this lovely spot, a must-try for sure!

Our 1st time eating at Mr. Pho. It was definitely a warm hearty meal after taking the Tram ride earlier this morning. I had the spicy pho bowl. It was hot, filled with flavorful pork, tribe and noodles. Not too spicy either. My honey had Lemon grass noodles with Chicken without broth! The restaurant was clean and the service was on point! The servings were very big too!

The first thing about this place is they care about their service and your experience. You can tell they focus on that, I can appreciate that. They are quick with drink refills, they pick up tables right after people leave. This place is clean on the inside and had a cool atmosphere. Vietnamese food in Albuquerque has tough competition but these guys can put some food together with the best of them. I would say portions are slightly smaller than most other places but everything good and prepared very well.

This was our first time visiting this establishment and possible not returning anytime soon. The establishment is a descent size and indoor is very cozy and dim light type of setting. The staff is very friendly and helpful. The food was descent in flavor but falls short in the basic flavoring the springs rolls ( mind you only had 2 small pieces of meat) and for the egg roll that was drenched in oil. The pineapple entree was my favorite one but the rice fell short on flavoring. The pot jasmine with chicken was extremely hot and lacked the flavor again. I

I was eating lunch there yesterday, when a gentleman walked in and sat down and I observed the staff being very rude to him and basically kicking him out when all he did was walk in and sit down. He did mention something about how he came in to see if the customer service has changed and apparently not as they didn't try to serve him or anything, they just kicked him out and glared at him. Not really knowing what was going on, I don't know if previously he did something but the fact that the staff would treat any customer like that in front of other customers and make a scene like that was not a good show of customer service. It makes me very unlikely to go there again as it is close to my work and I do like eating there but the fact that they would do that to any customer in front of other numerous customers without explanation or apologizing to us about making that scene shows me that they would treat me that way too on a whim. I'm very disappointed in this establishment and how they treat thier customers at this establishment. read more

I love Mr. Pho. It makes me smile to go there. My faves, in no particular order, are pho (chicken or beef today?), shrimp spring rolls, and clay pot chicken with rice. Service is always great and attentive and the restaurant has always been very clean. I love a place that is reliably good every time. :) read more

Location: great, easy parking on a thrus day night Asthetics: restaurant looked nice outside and inside Service: good, the wait wasn't long and the waiters did their job but there were only 2 other groups there so I cannot say much other wise Price: moderate $3.50 for spring rolls(2) which are pretty long so it's actually 4 because most places cut them. Pho here is $8-9 which isn't too bad because they all come in large sizes. The only downside to this was that you get less ingredients than you pay for. I ordered number 10, meatball pho. But what I got was 1 meatball sliced in multiple pieces. This was actually quite shocking to me as this has never happened to me in other places. Food: the spring roll tasted great, highly recommended. The pho I give it a 4 out of 10, it was very flavorless. It had the pho soup, but the noodles tasted so bland and not the soup taste at all. Mr Pho in my opinion has the best pho around. After finding this establishment I was blown away with how tasty the broth was. I've eaten at many Vietnamese restaurants around town comparing the broth and Mr Pho I think has the best. Give it a shot! read more

The broth of the pho at this place is phenomenal. Didn't really like the fresh rolls, I've had better, but I guess that's why they are not called mr fresh roll. The pho broth is worth the visit. The Thai tea wasn't bad either. read more

This is my second time dining at Mr. Pho's (pronnouced uh's). The atmosphere is calm and quite with very relaxing and modern decor. There is a easy menu to guide you through choosing the best Pho or other entree. They have different Vitatmese drinks and the food is delicious plus it's healthy! We got the shrimp and pork spring rolls with pea nut sauce and pork dumplings with some form of fish sauce (I did not care for it so I used the peanut sauce). I ate the shrimp Pho and my boyfriend got the hot and spicy. Both were delicious and low sodium compares to some other Pho I have had. It's a very large bowl filled with broth, meat/tofu or other protein of your choice, tins of veggies and then veggies on the side (bean sprouts, cilantro, jalapenos, and lime wedges.) They have soy sauce or their house sauce which a nice added flavor to your Pho. The service is very good and efficient. They do not try and rush you out and you can have a nice relaxing dinner. If you've never tried Pho before or looking for a delicious Pho restaurant, go check out Mr. Pho's! read more

This is a great example of service, quality and good prices. The restaurant is spotless, smell good and the food was delicious, very reasonable prices, inexpensive but tasty food. Don't waste your money! Was pumped to try this place based on the great reviews, and was very disappointed. I don't know how this place has any stars at all. The food wasn't of any sort of quality. We ordered spring rolls with shrimp and should have cancelled everything after the experience with the spring rolls. They didn't have any fresh herbs or flavor. Literally romaine lettuce, shrimp, and noodles...blah. The herbs are what give a spring roll a ton of flavor, needles to say it was lacking. Next we ordered the beef banh mi and chicken banh mi. We literally laughed when we saw the banh mi's. I asked my husband if this was a joke. Again, lacking flavor. No sauce of any sort in the banh mi's, no pickled veggies, only three small strips of meat and some fresh veggies on a very large piece of bread. We also tried the Spicy Lemongrass bowl....don't get me started, I took one bite and was done. The waiter was nice, but you need good food to keep customers coming back. I wanted so much like this place, but it was a total let down. I'm going home to eat my leftover homemade chicken soup. read more

After Pho 79 changed owners and became disgusting we were hard up for a Pho spot. Well not for long! We found Mr Pho and they saved the day! Im so happy to have found this gem. The Pho is delicious, the broth is rich and flavorful. The staff is lovely and the restaurant is quaint and well decorated. The vermicelli bowls are so so good! I used to come when it was Viet Q. I have been there twice since it's been converted to Mr. Pho. The staff are very nice and very tentative, my glass never got empty. The first time I ordered the soup it was nice and piping hot from the stove. It had good flavor and was tasty. Also the dumplings where really good. The next time I came out I ordered a spicy rice dish with pork and again was very good. The spice wasn't as hot as I like but the flavor was really good. Again the staff where fantastic! While it's still not my #1 Pho in town (that would be Saigon Far East) it's a good one in my book, and still my #2 till I find something that tops it. read more

We came in for lunch Wednesday at 2 pm. Young bald male server was super rude the whole time and never really came to check on us at all. Food is pretty bland and gross. Our baby knocked over some water and he screamed at us. So many better options. Don't waste your time here. read more

This is one of my favorite spots to go eat. In my opinion they have one of the best pho and spring rolls. I have tried other places and non of them can match this wonderful place. They have also made some really good cheken fried rice. I usually get a #2 extra large, a order of cheken or shrimp spring rolls with ice tea can't never go wrong with it. read more

Food was delicious, service was excellent! I brought my family in the day before Fourth of July, and it was late (30 minutes or so before they close). They still provided excellent service and didn't rush us at all! On top of that the food was spot on! We were recommend a certain dish and it definitely delivered! It does get busy during the lunch rush, but the line moves quickly and is well worth the wait. While the banh mi definitely steals the show, there are plenty of other options on the menu. When you open up the question, you get a dozen or more answers. That situation can mean many or all of several things: (1) Maybe Albuquerque really is VN food heaven; (2) Maybe there is no consensus on what constitutes really good VN food; or (3) Maybe most people pick the first VN restaurant they like and stick with it. I did #3 for years, sticking with Vietnam 200 and Viet Taste. Well, things change -- great restaurants slip and deliver mediocre experiences. Or we just get tired of same old, same old, and want to look around. I began looking around with a trip to Saigon City, an old restaurant in a slick new location in the same strip with Pars Middle Eastern restaurant in 25 Way. I went last night with my daughter and son-in-law, both experienced eaters. I previewed their menu on their website (a good thing when faced with a huge menu). I selected three items I wanted to try. Leaving the Pho for a later trip, I chose to begin with the green mussels stir fried and dished up with spicy veggie bits. There were six on the plate. I had to move quickly to get two of them. What a treat! I could make a meal of a plate of six of these. Next, I went for B3, the code for grilled chicken and veggies over vermicelli noodles with chili sauce. I like my food spicy. After the mussels, my hopes were up. Well, B3 was a very tasty dish. I would order it again anytime. Fresh, fresh, fresh. But pretty mild in the spice category. The chicken was nicely spiced, and there were red flakes in the vermicelli noodles, but not nearly enough of them. I tried my daughter's pork and vermicelli and thought it a bit better. We finished the meal with sicky rice & mango. The menu offers only sticky rice and banana, which is itself a very nice dessert, but our server mentioned that we could have mango instead for slightly higher charge. Since sticky rice with mango in coconut sauce is one of the five greatest desserts in the world, I went for it with gusto. This dish was the only slight stumble in the meal. I thought the rice was a bit underdone and the sauce not too thrilling. Not bad, but not at the standard set by the other dishes. I look forward to returning soon to try the pho. The service was very good, very friendly, and very helpful. I recommend sitting near the front of the restaurant and away from the service area where the staff conduct loud conversations among themselves. The interior of the restaurant is very nicely decorated and lighted. I was very comfortable eating at this fine restaurant.

We stopped by early this Sunday morning and was pleasantly surprised that they have expanded the menu from mainly banh mi. The now have Pho and rice noodle dishes. B5 combo is a solid can't go wrong choice. All the protein was cooked well and seasoned nicely. Egg roll was good. Fish sauce is going to be the grey area because thats always personal preference, it was good, but would say more on the fishy side, which my fiance liked. Im used to my moms sauce which is more on the sweeter side. I also got an Vietnamese iced coffee and I will say it is probably the best Vietnamese ice coffee that I've had in thr ABQ area. Its was strong and nice and smooth. It wasn't too sweet. The reason why I say this is the best iced Vietnamese cofee I've had in ABQ is because other places, the Vietnamese coffee is bitter or its not balanced enough with flavor. At over $8 for a cup, it's pricey but if i need a Vietnamese coffee fix, this will be a good to spot. I will say they keep it really clean in there and the white esthetic was pleasing on this sunny Sunday while we were eating in there.

Their Banh Mi was flavorful and was in a 9in roll that was lightly crispy and filled pretty well. I am used to shorter rolls that are stuffed way more. I felt like I ate more bread than toppings, otherwise I would rate it higher. It's about a $12 sandwich, on par with Subway footlong prices. The fruit tea was great, although I question the practicality of the canister it was served in. Instead of a plastic cup with a straw/no straw, it was in a plastic can that you can open like a soda can on top. I disliked how I couldn't reseal it or reuse it. If I wanted to recycle it, I'd have to put effort taking out the lemon wedges, which I did in order to. So, if I had the choice, I wouldn't get those cans. Everything costed about $20 before tip. I think in the future, I'll ask if I can get extra meat and veggies to make the Banh Mi feel more full. The place was also very bright and clean. I liked the atmosphere where there's plenty of seating. They also have every table with soup utensils and condiments bc they also serve pho.

Both adults also got the pork belly flatbread. I found it a bit unbalanced with too much sauce and not enough other toppings, and the base wasn't as crispy as I prefer. Speaking of crispy, we opted for the appetizer brussel sprouts, and they were a bit chewy and on the not so super crispy side. Service was fine, and glad to have a little break from heavier New Mexican cuisine on this night. Lots of variety on the cocktail and adult beverage menu too.

There's a lot of good Pho in Albuquerque and Mr Pho isn't an exception to that. You're immediately greeted by tasteful decor and friendly staff and are immediately seated as I've noticed they're not too busy even on Saturday lunchtimes. We sat down and I already knew what I would order. I got their pork pho. After a short time, the food arrived and it was very good. I often find the broth for Pho pretty salty but that wasn't the case with this bowl. The pork was cooked well and as always, the beansprouts and Jalapenos really complimented the dish. Had lunch here. My husband is really picky about his Pho. His lunch was excellent, as was my Pad Thai. The staff were prompt and very attentive. We had only to ask and were served promptly.
