I came out to this place, to introduce my friend to the amazing Vietnamese dish and I had no idea that it would be such an awesome experience. We walked inside and were greeted by amazing customer service. I was torn between a Spicy lemongrass noodle bowl, or the Phö. The gentleman told me that the broth was extremely fresh and to essentially die for! So I ordered the well done steak Phö. It came out in a piping hot large bowl! and I immediately began dressing my bowl with lots of toppings. My friend immediately tells me that I need to drink the broth & that's when the magic happened! I came here yesterday for Easter brunch with family. It was my first time trying it. The place looks really great, I really enjoyed what decor they had. There was no one there but my party. I ordered the spring rolls, which I enjoyed. I just think they could be wrapped a little tighter because the stuff inside kept falling out. Then, I ordered a #6 and so did my party. There was a fly in my party's pho. They were apologetic about it but they cracked a joke about it at the very beginning, which I don't think is how the situation should be handled? The meat in my pho were hard and wasn't very flavorful. They did take off a pho from our check which was very nice of them. They also gave us two order of chicken spring rolls due to the fly in the house. I really appreciated that they did that. I would not come back here again. The way they handled the fly in the pho was odd at first but polite at the end. Though, I've tried better pho places around town and those are worth it. read more

Wow! Been here a few times and the service is beyond amazing, we got our drinks about 30 seconds after ordering them and waited less than 5 to get our food. The pho is perfection, it has a beautiful balance of flavor that re-inspires the soul regardless of the protein. The spring rolls and clearly made fresh and have a beautiful crunch to them. I've been here many times. Great pho place, and they have avocado shakes too. From the outside, it looks small, but it's very nice and contemporary on the inside. Good music, and they have a tv, per usual. I usually get the extra large beef pho. It'll fill you up for sure. No appetizer needed. Great taste, good flavor of soup and broth. Servers are nice. Food is prompt. If I get a regular size pho, I'd recommend an appetizer like spring rolls or a shake. Let me start by saying I LOVE pho. I eat it in any city I visit. This place is cute, and was very quiet. No music was playing, but perhaps they forgot, the silence was almost uncomfortable. There were only two other groups here on the Friday afternoon that we visited. It is a fairly long wait to get your food here, which seemed odd since pho broth is usually prepped and ready to add noodles to long before customers arrive. My pho was just okay here. A bit bland compared to most places I've been. The rare beef is on the thicker cut end as well. If I came here again I'd certainly try something other than their under seasoned broth. The staff here weren't very talkative either, but I suppose that's not really a bad thing. Parking in this lot can be pretty sparse as there are other businesses that share the lot. read more

We found this place accidentally while searching for some pho. The original spot we were planning on going to was closed, so we drove up Montgomery and decided to stop at Red Lobster when we saw this place across the street. We walked in and we were greeted by a sweet lady and a very nice atmosphere. It was pouring rain and thundering outside and the place was so cozy and very cutely decorated. I had #5 which is steak and flank and it was a really great choice. My pho had so much flavor and a really good aroma, and of course I had my Thai tea which is my obsession. We followed it with some egg rolls. Let me talk about them egg rolls for a minute because OH MY GOD!!! No joke these are the best egg rolls I've ever had in my life!! This is no exaggeration!!! You know when something is so good that you can't put into words how to describe it?? Well these egg rolls are that good, you'll just have to try some for yourself so you can see what I'm talking about an explosion of taste and smell from both egg roll and sauce. We were also given some spring rolls on the house and they were so good, very different than other places I've eaten which has made me picky to spring rolls but I'm always up to try anything and I'm not disappointed by these. I'm very picky about pho but my favorite place had just recently shut down and I'm so glad I found this place it will be my go to spot from now on. My brother and I came here on one cold, winter, weekday night and we both ordered #11 Spicy beef pho. I also ordered springrolls, one shrimp and one pork for our appetizer. Turns out you cannot order different kinds of spring roll (chicken, pork, or shrimp) in one order (2spring rolls in one order). This is unlike any other Pho places I've been to both here in Albuquerque and out of state (I travel alot for work). So we stuck with shrimp springroll. It was okay. Spicy beef pho was made with fresh ingredients, although I would have liked more meat in it. A little bit of everything to taste (hoisin sauce, lots of beansprouts, lime, cilantro, basil, jalapeno) made it really yummy. I also order a condiment of chili oil in most asian dishes I eat and pho is no different. Its much better than sriracha in my opinion. One thing different with the pho they serve is that it has slices of cucumber and tomatoes in it. It was weird and unexpected at first but I grew a taste to it. I stopped in today for lunch. The atmosphere and service are nice. I ordered the Grilled Noodle Bowl (# 15) with beef and egg rolls. The egg rolls arrived timely and lay on a large lettuce leaf. When I picked one up, there was a pool of oil on the lettuce and I bit into a mouthful of oil. I did not eat the egg rolls. The noodles arrived in a large bowl, but I quickly found that it was 3/4 full of shredded lettuce with a thin layer of cold broken rice noodles and a thin cutlet of sliced beef. The beef was good - for what little there was. Overall, it took about 2 mins to eat, leaving the lettuce. Not at all what is expected when you order a "Grilled Noodle Bowl". With a cup of hot tea, my bill was $23.67. I paid $25 and left feeling completely scammed. The server clearly saw that I was leaving with most of the food still on the table, but didn't ask me one question. The word "scam" definitely comes to mind. I know most people give high reviews to this place (it's why I went there), but my experience was NOT GOOD. read more

I really wanted to love this restaurant. The place itself has a very nice and sleek interior. It is nice enough to bring someone for a 2nd or 3rd date. The service is also great, my cup of water was never empty and the waiter kept coming back to check on me. Yet, the food leaves more to be desired. I ordered the shrimp spring rolls and I was more than underwhelmed. I've made much more flavorful rolls in my kitchen and I'm Mexican. The rolls were very basic: lettuce, shrimp, carrots, etc. There were no herbs to give it flavor such as cilantro or basil. I've been to other Vietnamese restaurants that pump up the flavor by adding various herbs to the rolls. I also ordered the bún, my go to when I get Vietnamese. The veggie to meat and noodle ratio was really off. There was very little meat and a moderate amount of noodles. The meat itself was fine, it wasn't delicious or memorable. Although I like the ambiance and service I won't be returning. I will be trying other Vietnamese places in town to scope out the best bún and Phó, unfortunately Mr. Phó is not one of them. read more

After a long day of work I was craving some noodles! We found Mr Pho and the reviews were great, so we thought we'd give it a try. Fantastic!! The tofu spring rolls came out quickly and so fresh! The sauce was the perfect amount of flavor too. I had the noodle bowl with shrimp (which was cooked perfectly!) and they added some extra noodles, no problem! My husband had the vegetarian stir-fried egg noodles which were so full of flavor and the perfect amount of crunch. Absolutely will be going back! A new favorite here in ABQ :) read more
