Today my experience at Mr. Pollo was not good. First, I ordered a large Chicha Morada drink. I noticed they we're running Low on the drink but I thought they were going to make more. No, when my food was ready, they told me, we're sorry but we're waiting for the Chicha Morada drink. It's going to take longer. We didn't see , we were out of it. Okay, first of all, if you noticed , you're running out of something, they should start preparing more. I had to wait in addition, 15 minutes for the drink. Second, I get home and realized that l that the Pollo Saltado that I ordered only had like 5 pieces of chicken and the rest were potatoes. I should have just ordered a Saltado de Papa in that case. Third, the chicken breast that I also ordered was not cooked well. What disappointments me more is that we trust in them that we are going to receive what we are paying for. My order was to go so this makes me think that they do this to many customers as they might think that we're not going to notice it and if we do, we're probably not going back to tell them. This raised my concerns about the safety of consuming food served in such hot plastic. Despite my apprehension, I was quite hungry, so I cooled the food down and proceeded to eat. Unfortunately, a few hours later, I experienced a severe headache, nausea, and dizziness. I suspect these symptoms may be related to exposure to the hot plastic container. The pollo a la brasa, the green sauce, and the lomo saltado are finger-lickin' good; but he rest of their food -not so much. If you'd like to try the other plates, I suggest going to another restaurant. The price value is awesome and very affordable. This place is relatively cheap and their customer service is the best. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. The owners work at the restaurant regularly, too. The place is always packed and finding seats can be very hard, especially on weekends! If you go around 12 or anytime before 3, you'll be able to find seats, good parking, and you won't have to wait long for the food.
