I'm going to give 2 stars because my car drives straight. However I do have an issue. I paid 84.99 on groupon to get an alignment. I also had tires put on, because I failed a state inspection at another mr tire. I did a lot of work on the car and knew I needed an alignment. On the groupon it said 129.99 original price. The price on my invoice says 134.99 and the only deducted 70.01 for the groupon. Now if you wanted me to pay the difference I should only had paid $5 however I paid not 64.98 after already paying groupon 84.99. I didn't notice what I paid until I got home. Shady! Shady! Shady! Shady! Please don't go to Mr. Tire. I paid $7,168 to replace my Catalytic Converter on a 2016 Dodge Charger and they replaced it using the wrong parts. As a result it caused my car to sound like a small plane taking off all the time. When I complained to the store manager Dwight Lee and the mechanic Tom they said it was normal. NORMAL for my car to make a small jet taking off all the time. this went on for 4 months. Finally I took my car to the dealer for a second opinion and they pretty much told me I should sue and I could've done a better job myself. I've been a long time returning customer for over 10yrs but I will never go back to Mr. Tire or any other Mr. Tire affiliate stores. If I could leave zero stars, I would. This is the 2nd time this location tried to get over on me. They assume because you're a woman, you don't know anything about cars or tires...sexist!! I called around 8 am to ask if they had time to patch a tire (the nail in the tire was small) and was slightly located on the shoulder. They said yes, and I dropped it off around 9 am. Also, they didn't look busy at all. One employee was on a smoke break for eternity while the other was working on a vehicle. I was told the wait would be 2 hours. So, I decided to take an Uber back home. They called me about 2 hours later, advising that they couldn't patch the tire, and that I'd need a new one. They also said I should just purchase 2, so "they could match". They gave me an assessment on my other tires and indicated I should replace them soon, but it could wait. I proceeded to explain I just purchased this vehicle in December and the dealer had placed 4 new tires on the car. I should also note that I barely drove my car 4,000 miles between December and May. In addition, I just checked my tread when my tire was low, so I knew the condition of my tread. They also mentioned my brakes were in good condition, which I didn't ask them to check. When I mentioned all this, the rep started stuttering. I also asked why the tire couldn't be repaired and was told "I'm just going by what my tech told my" without any further explanation. I said I'd get a second opinion, and went to pick up my vehicle. Upon arrival, the narrative changed, "Ms. Borden, you only need two tires and the tire can't be patched because the nail is located on the shoulder. No one will be able to repair it and I no other place can beat my costs for new tires". Had I listened, they would've gotten $400 out of me. However, I went to my trusted mechanic, and they not only repaired the tire, they also said all of my tires are in excellent condition. The first time this location got over on me, I had a flat on a 2002 Lexus sedan. Again, they demanded I get two new tires, which I did, but the kicker is, they ordered Pirelli's, which we all know are expensive. Why would I even put this caliber of tire on a 2002 sedan?! Please avoid this place at all possible costs. They're in the business of selling tires, so they'll never inform you that you don't need new ones. I'll add my receipts, from both places later. I do not live in the area and had a low tire. Arrived at 5pm, worker with red beard said they close at 7pm. I asked if my tire could be looked at to see if it has a nail in it. The worker said that he would have to put it on the rack to see and that there wasn't availability. I asked if he could just come out and visually look at my tire - he again said in a robot tone "we would have to put it on the rack" I said you cant just come out and take a look? He said in a robot tone "we would have to put it on the rack". I am new to the area from Arizona- is this an east coast thing or a Mr. Tire thing?? I went in to get two tires replaced, I know I need all of them replaced but could only afford 2 of them right now. Last time I came in I told them I needed the back 2 tires, didn't say that this time but thought they'd at least replace the back tire that keeps going flat. No, they replaced the front 2 tires, which haven't been going flat. Also had troubles with them using the key fob. My car has a push button start, which isn't all that uncommon. The key fob itself is dead, so if you want to start the car you have to insert it into the slot in the glove compartment. They couldn't figure this out apparently, and called me saying the car wouldn't start. They held the key fob everywhere around the car and couldn't get it started. I can't be the only one who has come to this shop with a push button start. All in all it took 3 days to replace 2 tires. read more

Next day one of the installed tires was flat. Went back once got spare on and took another two hours to fix their mistake. Going to Mr. Tires was never in my plans. I called the dealership for an alignment and they had no openings. I wanted to get an alignment immediately since I just got brand new tires. If I waited, it could've went for months without getting one which would've shortened the life of my tires. I'm working on not procrastinating in 2019 lol. I decided to take a chance on this Mr. Tire location since the reviews were mixed. Needless to say I had an excellent experience. I called ahead to check rates and availability for an alignment. The cost was $70 less than the Mercedes dealership, cha-ching! Who doesn't like to save money. They also had an opening. It was explained that there was a little wait. I decided to leave my car and Lyft to work. I was asked when did I need my car back, which was in two hours. Needless to say I was in at 10am and my car was ready at 11:45am. When I took my car there to Get a new tire, they broke the wheel lock key and didn't do anything about it. They claimed that the person before you put the wheels on tighten the lug nuts to tight. I figured that when they tried to give it off they should know that; and should have taken better care we're trying to take it off. My real disappointment wasn't that it happened but what they did, or did not do to make it right. They just said oh well and gave me the defective part and basically sent me on my way. This was hands down the worst customer service experience in my 48 years. I took my car to this location to get a tire plugged. I normally wouldn't have stopped here, as I had a horrible experience with a location near DC when I lived there. However, I was desperate as the donut I put on the car was looking like I might not make it far, so I came here as it was the closest shop to my house that did tire work. Upon inspecting the car, they tried to tell me that not only could they not fix the tire, but that I also needed four new tires as mine were all cracked and beyond repair. This was a blatant lie. The rear tire on the passenger side was brand new, I had purchased it from the Mercedes Dealer just a few months prior. When I alerted them to this, the kid on the phone says hold on, goes to check the car, and comes back and says, "Well you need three new tires, since the car is a 4-Matic, They all have to match". Now, while it is true that they should match, how he missed a brand new tire is either a sign of incompetence, or a complete lack of honesty. I was due back in the office the next week, so against my better judgement, I decided to match the tire from the Benz Dealer, and purchase three new tires, thus giving my 4-Matic car four matching tires. I picked the car up late, and did not immediately check the tires as it was dark and I couldn't see anything. The next day, I inspected the car, and was shocked to find one of the old Chinese Tires that was on the car when I brought it to them, still on the car. I called Mr. Tire and the Manager was adamant that he watched them change all the tires and that this could not be possible. I said, then why do I still have one of my old tires still on the car? He said come up, and he would take a look. I come to the Store, he inspects the tires and tells me that all of the tires that I paid for were on the car. I ask him, then why don't I have four matching tires as promised? After inspecting the car, I saw that he put all of the tires that I purchased from him on the car, but, he removed the brand new Tire that I purchased from the Mercedes Dealer in the process. I asked him what happened to my Tire and he just kept repeating, "All the tires you purchased from us are on the car". He knew he took off the wrong tire, but wouldn't admit it, and legit tried to convince me that 1+3=3 and would not budge. I left, as I felt a violent rage building up inside me. I called the 1-800 number and got no return call. I called my attorney who suggested that before we file suit, to reach out to corporate. I found some corporate folks and emailed them. I got no response, but a few days later, Mr. Tire calls and says they have a tire for me. I'm assuming corporate called them and told them to make it right, but no one from corporate called me to apologize, or let me know what was going to happen. I took the car back, and they replaced the tire that they took off an error. The manager who botched the job was there, but never came out to apologize, or offer anything for my inconvenience. I spent almost $1200 in this place for the worst consumer experience I have ever had. It was made right in the end, but the headache and time it took to get this resolved cannot be overstated. read more

Came in for an oil change and tire rotation. They suggested I get new tires for a 2017 car with only 36,000 miles. I declined the suggestion. After waiting an hour when I had an appointment made for 10am, they rang up my total. I asked to make sure they rotated my tires.. and they proceed to tell me they refused to do it bc I needed new tires and it wasn't worth doing. First of all, if I pay for a service you need to tell me you aren't doing it. Second of all, I do not need new tires. My tires have atleast 15,000 miles left on them. Safe to say I won't be returning for an $80 oil change that takes an hour and no tire rotation or fluid top offs. read more

So I have to say that I am always on the hunt for a good oil change place. I came here on the recommendation of a coworker. I made an appt online for 6 pm and arrived at 5:40. I was out by 6:25. I found the service to be pretty good. Customer service was excellent even while a new employee was being trained. They did ask for my wheel lock which I found later was because they check the tire tread since it is primarily a tire store. They were Not insistent on up sells and add one like jiffy lube which was great! And they were not pushy on the tires that I need on the front . I am so used to sitting in Walmart auto for hours for a simple oil change that the short wait scared me . I would definitely return for more service. read more

I needed unusual help from MR. TIRE in Owings Mills, MD. I bought my first set of tires at this location in 01/17 and was impressed then by the courteous and careful service given me at the time. In mid-2019, one of those tires was badly torn up by a nail, so I replaced the two front tires, just to be sure about the balance. I lost the record of that purchase, however, and wanted a copy of it. Not knowing whether MR. TIRE would have retained the record, I called to ask and received, again, the most courteous and careful service from Mike.
