You really can't beat the quantity, quality, and price of their food. Even their smoothies are delicious! I really really really wanted to try this location as I have visited the Claremont one and love their BBQ Pork. So I came here, waited in a looooooong line just to have some BBQ Pork. Unfortunately there wasn't any ready and the lady said it'd be a 10 minute wait. No problem who can't wait 10 minutes. So 20 minutes pass by and during that time there is another costumer that is also waiting for BBQ Pork. Finally we see them bring it out and surely it'd be enough for their order and mine boy was I wrong. That lucky customer got an exaggerated heaping of it on both their plates so I am thinking there must be more coming. Another 5 minutes, I ask the lady how long for the BBQ Pork she says 10 minutes, I say you said that 30 minutes ago. She says she's sorry and under her breath I hear her say that the BBQ Pork they just gave the customer might not even be cooked all the way through. OH. So I sit on this thought another 10 minutes and maybe thats on me for waiting over 45 minutes for this BBQ Pork and ask for a refund instead. They try to tell me it's almost ready, I tell them it doesn't matter and they atleast give me my money back. My husband and I came here for lunch as my husband wanted to try the viral orange chicken with fries. The place is pretty small with only about 4 tables inside and 3 concrete tables outside. There was a line in front of us and behind us. When it is your turn to order, you already need to know what dishes you want from the variety of hot foods on display; the lady will write the name of the dish you want on the styrofoam. The lady that was helping us kept stalling as she was writing and/or putting food in our styrofoam box and the reason was because she kept paying attention to the soccer game on the tv. There was already a line behind us but she didn't seem to care about them. According to my husband, the viral orange chicken with fries was good. There were a lot of fries with some big chunks of chicken. He would suggest that the chicken be cut into smaller pieces so that it would go better together when eaten with the fries or you would be eating a chicken and fries separately. in my opinion, this wasn't bad. It was not super sweet or tangy which I like. My husband and I don't think it is worth the drive to try these IF you are not in the area. For mine, I got the 3 sides with all noodles. I enjoyed the food but I truly loved the bbq pork which was delicious! It is $1 more though so keep that in mind. Things to keep in mind: 1) The place does not seem to have the air conditioner running and just two small ceiling fans. With that, it was VERY hot in there. We were sweating trying to eat our food which made our 1st experience here unfavorable. This might just be my new favorite chinese togo food spot. I was there for about an hour and the line was out the door nonstop. Parking can get kind of crazy since it shares the lot with a lot of other businesses in a small plaza. So to start off the line here 30 minutes to closing was HUGEEE i did not expect it at all, the staff had to close up 15 minutes prior because people kept lining up to order. Sadly we got here too close to closing so most of the options they have were gone but for the most part i got everything i wanted to try from here. The orange chicken fries are so creative and amazing "appetizer" if you want to even call it even though it's so much food. The portions here are insane they just pile on more and more food for whatever you ask for, i got the spicy chicken wings and since it was so close to closing they just gave me the rest of what was in the pan. The fried rice and chow mein are also very good from here, most Chinese food places will have good meat but their rice and chow mein lacks flavor and is bland but this place did a great job at making sure it tastes super good. The seating area isnt too big but we didnt get the opportunity to dine in because of how late we went. My second time here so it's time for a review. This is an American Chinese take out place. The line is crazy because the food is quite delicious. Our first time we had the combo A with one item - orange chicken and chow mein and shared it because it was huge. I added a chicken egg roll which was the type with the cellophane noodles. The orange chicken was tasty. I have had other orange chicken this good, but not often. It has been less than a week and I am back. Chinese food is the most healing type of comfort food for me. There are plenty of my favorites on the steam table and menu. This time, I came in at 8:25pm. The line wrapped around the inside of the restaurant. The steam tables were half empty. I see they have shrimp with lobster sauce-another comfort favorite. It reminds me a bit of the Chinese places in Hawaii. I noticed they have the Vietnamese almond cookies that are SO good. Mu Shu pork also on the menu makes me curious. Tonight I will be trying the made to order Hot and Sour Soup and a small pork spare rib because I can only try so many things each time. My sweetheart is opting for the bbq pork or orange chicken again depending on his whim once we get to the counter. A lady just came around and gave tickets to some people who were ordering secret menu items - I heard orange chicken fries and spicy rice. Those don't sound like my jam so I carried on toward the counter. 10 mins in line and there are only 5 groups or so ahead of me. The other day I noticed the Diet Coke was out of order and today it is fixed. I might have to look up that secret menu. I wonder if they would make me almond chicken. When I tried to order hot and sour soup at the counter, they said they are out... good thing I already told them when I cane in. The customer service is a little confusing and it is hectic. There was some back and forth shouting but I don't care... I got what i came in for. I think they are missing out by closing promptly at 9pm with customers standing outside. They must have made enough money today and be tired. I recommend being there at least an hour before closing. Back home we are devouring our food. my husband says the BBQ pork is really good. My spare ribs are epically amazing - tender and spicy. It's a comforting flavor I remember. The hot and sour soup has regular vs wood ear mushrooms, however I am impressed it is homemade.
