First time trying Mr. Jim's and well, I was looking forward to trying their pizza, but what ruined it for me was the strand of light brown hair I found baked into the dough. Not sure if hairnets are a requirement when making their food, but in any establishment that handles food, I think it should be. Just sucks because it definitely ruined the moment, since I usually eat up to 4 slices of pizza, but I found the hair on my 2nd slice and that was it for me. Also, it's not a big pizza for their large and at $20, yah, it's way overpriced especially after the experience I had. So yah, we ended up throwing the rest of the pizza away, since that made us question how the rest of it was. And we won't be coming back for more of that. read more

We ordered a thin crust pizza with pepperoni & pineapple on it, 8 bbq wings, and cinnamon sticks. Our pizza was okay, but the wings and cinnamon sticks were inedible. The cinnamon sticks were rubbery and the chicken wings were not anywhere close to cooked the way we requested (crispy). I will say that the kid I spoke with over the phone was very kind and helpful. The last order was delivered but I did not hear the driver knocking on my door. There was commotion with the dog next door and that's why I assumed my dog was barking. She said she came to my door but I never heard her knock. They called me left me a messages on my phone I did not hear my phone. So I did finally receive the messages I called back and asked him to bring me another Pizza they told me that would be at the manager's discretion. THIS Mr. Jim's Pizza location is the homie. I'm sure, at this point, all of the drivers feel no need to GPS my address anymore as it's my weekly cheat-weekend meals... yes, weekend and meals'. I'm a pretty simple gal when it comes to my 'za... extra cheese, extra sauce, well-done and they get it to near perfectness 97% of the time. But the family expands their taste buds a bit more than I do and have never had a complaint with any spontaneous item ordered off of the menu. Maybe the ONE thing I personally wouldn't order again is the chicken strips; I'm a bit of a chicken nugget/strip connoisseur and these specific ones just aren't my thing. Either way, if you're looking for a bit of a change from your usual Papa John's, Domino's, Pizza Hut, etc., Mr. Jim's might be your new go-to. It can a bit pricey, but the quality, rad employees, great customer service, and quickness of delivery (even on the busiest of nights), it's certainly overall worth it. Oh, and a little P.S., at nearly every given time, there is always a great discount code available... usually 20% off of your full order or 40% off a regular priced pizza. Here from another state we were staying in a hotel. And decided to get some pizza. It was late about 10:15pm when we called. We didn't get our pizza till 11:15 I feel that is really late. But I'm giving 4 stars instead of 2 because the pizza was actually really good. Ordered pineapple and mushroom and both were very fresh ingredients. Since moving to West Arlington about ten years ago, mr Jim's has frequently been our go to pizza place when we just want to eat at home. I prefer their Peppi Pockets probably more that their pizza. For pizza, their prices are pretty fair. There are other places that serve better pizza; however there pizza is still pretty darn good to ignore. We usually use the Randol Mill location. Been ordering here for years. Great pizza, usually pickup because it's close. Never had an issue. One time my stepson was left with a cart to pay the pizza delivery driver and I said give them a 15% tip. He has hearing loss and didn't hear the % part so he gave them a $15 tip by mistake. We have been ordering frequently. We feel in love with the Beddar Cheddar Pizza. I had an order deliver issue once before but didn't worry too much about it. The ordering system is ancient and not user friendly. There is a disclaimer that I ignored about having to check your emails to make sure they got your order. We have never had an issue with not getting an order until tonight. Ordered one hour before close. Nothing arrived. Called store over and over. No answer. Checked my bank account. Yep, I got charged. Went to the store. Of course, I was greeted with a "we're closed". The employee called the GM who refused to speak with me and blamed with the issue on ME for not checking my email. True-I will own that one. I didn't check BUT since my order was lost in cyber space and I had now driven up to the store, I would have preferred some better customer service than I received. They said when the authorization isn't completed in a few days, I'll get my money released. That's fine but an authorization can hold for 10 days at BOA. I wasn't concerned with $20 but it was the fact the GM wouldn't speak to me, one clerk laughed at me for making a stink over $20. Ultimately, I was asked to leave the store for voicing my concern about the ordering system and their lack of customer service. I am rating 2 stores because the pizza is really good. so having recently moved here from California I was in search of a good pizza place that wasn't the generic pizza hut, papa john's, etc. the first time I ordered it was amazing I got the sticky fingers and it was loaded with toppings and tons of cheese I was so happy I found a great place, the next time I ordered my in-laws were over and I was very disappointed there wasn't much cheese or toppings, it tasted ok but wasn't anything like the pizza I had bragged about and promised them. Since then I have ordered a few times and always get different results on the quality it is either 5 star amazing or 2 star ok, which is why I gave it 3...that being said it is still better then what the major chains offer so I will continue to order from them I just wish there was more consistency with the quality...guess it depends on who happens to be working the kitchen when you order read more
