After having poor experiences with some of their competitors, I've been very pleased with their professionalism and attention to detail while still offering competitive prices. I appreciate their work order reports and the very detailed pictures that they include. I also wanted to call out two of their employees, specifically -- Nahum and Miguel. This year, due to all of the snow, our pool cover caved in and the pool cover pump accidentally pumped out most of the pool water before we discovered it. That, coupled with lots of leaves in the pool, made for a much more difficult opening this year. Nevertheless, Nahum and Miguel went the extra mile to get the pool to open very clean and clear. They spent extra time but did so with a very positive, helpful attitude that I appreciated. I would highly recommend them.

We appreciate that gesture and their willingness to address some of our concerns. While our original experience and the delays remain unchanged, it is only fair to acknowledge their effort to make things better. After more than six weeks, our pool liner project is still not complete because Millennium Pools has measured the liner incorrectly multiple times. We are now waiting for a third liner and hoping it finally fits. To make matters worse, the company removed our old liner and left our pool empty and without a liner for two weeks while we wait for the replacement. What should have been a routine liner installation has turned into a lengthy and frustrating process. The company has offered no discount or compensation for the delays, inconvenience, or loss of use of our pool, despite the fact that the mistakes were entirely their own. We have spent tens of thousands of dollars with this company and expected better service, communication, and accountability. Based on our experience, we cannot recommend Millennium Pools.

They do such a great job closing the pool that is it always ready to use within 24 hours of opening in the spring - clear water and perfectly balanced chemicals. This year, I unfortunately had mice eat through some of the elements for my pool heater and Dima came out to troubleshoot and fix quickly. He even cleaned out the mess the mice had made and took steps to deter them from coming back. Dima also spent a great deal of time completely rewiring my pool pump and equipment (it was wired wrong by the pool builder) so I could control everything via the app. If you're looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, and trustworthy residential pool service definitely use DMV Pools!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY. Their customer service is horrible. They are arrogant, overpriced,…read moremisogynistic, and obnoxious. We bought a house with a small pool and went to Caribbean Pool Service as a both a local Alexandria company and the company that had previously serviced the pool hoping to find a company we could trust to help us with our new pool. After zero communication over more than a week after we had scheduled to have the pool 'cleaned', the first crew arrived with broken equipment to drain the pool. Two weeks after the initial scheduled date, the acid wash made the pool worse. When we contacted the company they told us we had asked for the acid wash. We clearly were new pool owners who had no idea what we were doing and had looked to them for their professional opinion. I was told initially that the president of the company had come to look at the pool to see what it needed but later was told that they hadn't looked at the pool and that it was our request. Upon calling repeatedly and being put off over and over we contacted other pool companies for estimates. Caribbean demanded that we pay for the acid wash but finally negotiated a price and they said they would re-plaster the pool. It took additional weeks of calling and being put off and patronizing and condescending responses but they came and drained the pool. It still took another TEN days before before they finally sent a crew who blasted music on a Sunday morning in our quiet neighborhood. To top it off, they sent us a bill the next day after completion with an immediate due date! When we didn't pay within a few days we were sent threatening, harassing and demeaning emails and messages. Even when we sent them payment information, they followed up with additional harassing emails. I have dealt with dozens of contractors and service companies over the years. I have NEVER had service this atrocious. Please do yourself a favor and find another company.

The guy who came out was very friendly and very knowledgeable about pools and the work that needed to be done on my pool specifically. After checking their references, I decided to go with Caribbean because I felt very comfortable and their customers were very positive. Once we picked out our tile and coping, they got started right away. They started everything on a Monday and had it ready to swim in by the weekend with everything done. I was very pleased with the work they did and how quickly they got it done. We were so pleased that we have them doing a weekly pool cleaning for us this coming summer.
