Listen!! Or should I say read lol! I just so happened to do a search for this bakery after having the yellow cake with chocolate icing purchased at Orleans & York on Florence three times. I have to say that I was a little apprehensive about purchasing because O&Y previously sold Sweet Red Peach baked goods, and I didn't think cake could get any better than that but baaayyyby let me tell you, it does. This cake is so fire (moist, fluffy and not too sweet) that I just had to see if I could get a whole one for our next family function. They list the ingredients on the packaging and I couldn't be more pleased (flour, sugar, butter, eggs, milk and vanilla...the wholesome things that you expect yumminess to be made of.) I gave this cake so much praise on the wrong yelp page so I had to leave a review here after finding out that this gem is located right in the heart of Inglewood. If the hot food that they serve up is anything like this cake, you wont be disappointed. Cant wait to get my hands of a whole cake from this awesome baker. read more

I have heard so much about this place and how good their cakes were, so today I decided to stop by and find out for myself. I went in today about 1pm and there was a older lady behind the counter. I walked in and very politely said hello and asked her how her day was going. She coldly said hello but nothing else. I asked her if she had any other cakes besides the ones in the display (because those pieces looked old). Again, coldly she replied, no... I said ok, well thank you and have a good day. SHE DIDNT EVEN REPLY AND SAY GOODBYE!!! I tell u. I always try to support my ppl and patronize black owned businesses... But we have to learn the first thing in business is CUSTOMER SERVICE! Yummy! Yummy! Yumm! shrimp tacos, and might i add quite filling. The Shrimp tacos come with fried shrimp so that adds a nice crunch to your taco taste. And they also had tasty french fries. You can get all that for about 5 bucks. Which isnt bad. They are very generous in portions. The wait is kind of a lot so i suggest calling ahead of time. It took about 15 minutes to get our take-out food. But its well worth it. Next time I will get the Red Velvet cake everyone raves about :D read more

A neighbor suggested I try this spot. I must say I'm impressed. I have drove past this place too many times to count but better late than never. The fresh cut fries are great and fried perfectly. My burger is flavorful and not too salty. And don't get me started on the red velvet cake. My son and I shared a slice but I should have purchased 2. The location is pretty small so dining in might not be the best choice. Food takes sometime as the food is prepared as ordered. Great prices and wonderful staff! read more

I was supposed to be going to Bruno's and ended up at Ms Ruby's....best mishap ever! Really nice staff and the bacon burger is hands down the best burger my husband and i have had outside of a restaurant. All he kept saying was 'Good Lord this burger is damn good' (and he's a SUPER picky eater). And the fries....they could not have been seasoned better! Moist cake and cream cheese frosting was perfect. What a nice big slice of red velvet cake. Parking was coin metered only, just like the rest of Inglewood, so don't forget your quarters. The heavily gated window was a bit of a shocker. There's no where else around Inglewood that I know do that anymore. Am I being naive? It's not ghetto in that part of town. Dulan's is two shops away. That red Velvet! Wonderful addition to our Christmas feast! I tried a slice of this cake at our local bar-be-Que place and loved it! I wanted to have it for Christmas since it looks like a holiday desert. I called about a week before Christmas and they were not accepting any new orders.
