Went there recently and ordered hibachi and sushi. The sashimi and onigiri is fairly standard with a a few non-typical options. The hibachi steak was very flavorful and the rice and noodles that come with it are a nice bonus. They also offered takoyaki as the special which was great. It is very hard to find. It is essentially a savory pancake ball with octopus in the center and topped with takoyaki sauce and bonito fish flakes. My only complaint is that the rainbow roll was very underwhelming. It was rather small for a deluxe roll and not very colorful. It looked like a small california roll with a couple pieces of fish and avocado on top. Definitely not a $10 roll. I will be hesitant to order rolls from them again. read more

We went with our small children, to an early dinner. We walked in and were rushed to a seat. The lady walked so fast I didn't even know where she's was. The Hibachi food was delicious. The service was terrible. Our "show" was very boring. Almost no talking, no shrimp tossing, nothing but the onion volcano. Not even any spatula tricks! This was disappointing because the reason we went was for our kids to see the show and us to hopefully eat in relative peace. We had water, two kids meals, a chicken and steak and spent over$80!! I wanted to order a $3 eggroll but I guess the lady was in a bigger hurry than I, because I didn't even get to try to order it. Just very bad customer service, which is what they are charging for. I must say that after reading many of the reviews I was quite hesitant but it looks like the owners have read them too and have made some changes. Staff was very attentive and friendly. My girlfriend and I went over to the Hibachi side so I cannot comment on the sushi but the food was excellent and the portions where enough to have 2 separate dinners for later. I used a 25 dollar gift certificate from Restaurant.com and had to spend 50. My girlfriend had the chicken and shrimp and I had the chicken and steak. Soup, salad, and a ton of rice and noodles with a good amount of chicken, shrimp, and steak all sauteed up very tasty. It was definitely worth the 55 dollar tab and having the 25 dollar gift certificate deducted from that was a great bonus. We will be back. read more

We have been to many different hibachi grills in the past. Our experience tonight was by far the best. Lee was our chef and he could not have been any more fun, engaging and welcoming! Basically the same experience as the Jen W review, except they charged us full price (more than $50) and had pre-tipped our receipt. Our meal took 1:20 and we had to call after more than an hour only to find that their gps could not locate us which might be more believable if we were part of the new construction here in town, but we're not. Stay away from delivery from Mt Fuji unless you are into room temp sushi that sits around for an hour before they deliver it and crunchy rice. Oh and they didn't give us any wasabi whatsoever! We dropped in on New Years Day for Lunch. We have driven by the many times but had never had the chance to try them out until then. Our experience was wonderful, we had the table all to our selves, and the full attention of the chef, which was nice since this was the first time for our boys to eat at a hibachi restaurant. The food is good and at my door exactly at the promised time. The only two complaints I have is that 1) there wasn't a credit card receipt for me to sign to give a tip when the food arrived. The only option to tip was at the time I placed my order, and I don't believe in giving a tip before any service has been given. Since I didn't have any cash on me, I was sadly unable to give a tip to the delivery guy. 2) They forgot to give me some soy sauce to go with my sushi, which was disappointing. We went here for sushi and so the hibachi stuff going on ruined the ambience for us a little bit. I'd rather just go to a sushi place that only does sushi and enjoy an unadulterated experience. We came here for a special girls night with our daughters before seeing a show at the Pace Center. The hibachi was delicious and the service attentive. My disappointment was that we had called for a 5:30 reservation and when we arrived we waited a half an hour to be seated. It all worked out fine, but if you have plans after dinner here, make sure you leave some buffer, even if you have a reservation. read more

Its been 5 years since ive been there but came across it as I was yelping. Not surprising to see all the reviews. I will never go to this restaurant. The service was horrible! All I wanted was rice not noodles and it was such a fricken rigmarole! We had to pay extra $5 for rice? How is that? But seriously who cares. Whats 5 bucks...but I swear to you I had to beg them to LET me pay them extra so I didnt have to eat the noodles. They FINALLY agreed after we repeatedly said charge us whatever you want. We just dont want the noodles. Then they still wanted to bring me noodles and the rice. For gods sake just dont put the noodles on my plate. Why is that hard? Horrible horrible. I've read reviews that start off saying I wish I could give a place at zero stars, I've never agreed with that and in this case I still think one star is the perfect review. You know how sometimes you want to give a place x stars or y stars or in between but you're unsure because you vacillate between two choices - in this case I want to give this place exactly one star. I want to give them one star for the way the place smells. I want to give them one star for the way that the waitress smelled. I want to give them one star for the rudeness. I want to give them one star for the horrid way they made sure to show us we weren't welcome - when responding in the affirmative after we walked in and asked "are you still serving or are you considering closing early due to the coming snowstorm?" They literally said they did want to keep serving!!! Just after we sat down and ordered a salad, we began filling out the sushi menu - TWICE, before we even had the salad, they came over and reminded us they clearly didn't want us there (through their actions and attitude). They even said it was "last call." The time they said this we asked what that meant - because our understanding of Colorado law is that alcohol is served until 10PM (we sat down at 7:50PM!). The waitress rolled her eyes and blithely said "last caw for everyfing." I love small independent restaurants. I love supporting hard working family restaurants; they need support and business now more than at anytime in recent memory. This place isn't worth going to visit in my opinion; and while I know everyone has a bad day what are the chances of both waitresses being absolute d*cks? My suggestion is to go eat at Vy, it is no more than a block away and we have frequented it since the day they opened their sushi bar. My wife and I were having a craving for sushi so we decided to jump on Google and search for a couple locations. Mt. Fuji was one of the first on the list and after reading a few positive reviews we decided to give it a shot. The service there was extremely satisfying. The wait staff were very prompt and had my beverage refilled before I even noticed it needed it. Our chef was also very great, he was very entertaining and really got his guests involved. We took our three year old daughter with us and she was fascinated the entire time. We are already looking forward to going back. Sushi was ok. Not much variety since everything has little bits of tuna or eel in it. Everything is covered in spicy mayonnaise. The shrimp fried rice was soooooo greasy. No flavor. Cheese wontons was like eating oily fried overly sweetened cream cheese. Not a place I would recommend. read more

Don't get me wrong, the food was good and the man doing our hibachi was great, but we went in specifically for the hibachi lunch special and we arrived at 2:15. I even asked the girl at the front when we got there if we were on time for the lunch special and she said yes. We ate, had fun, but then we were billed for the hibachi dinner, which is double the price. When we got our bill it was 3:05 and we were told that the price reflected what we got, even though it was not what we ordered. It ruined our whole day and we couldn't take our kids out afterwards to jump street because we spent close to $100 on lunch. I paid it without complaint and tipped appropriately but I'm really hurt by it and our family feels very taken advantage of. read more

For me and my family it all come down to the food, affordability, and service/customer service. The food is great. We love all types of Asian Cusine so that i s really 4 stars. In terms of affordability it is on the more expensive side for what you get although the atmosphere is fun for the kids it is expensive for our family without a coupon. Now, this was the disappointing part. They are very sticklers on the coupons. We met our friends there and were different parties that had both brought a coupon. Before we were seated we asked about them and they said we had to sit at different tables to use them. That is silly and the Manager/Owner was very rude as we tried to explain that they drove in and we just met them here but since we knew each other we could only use one. Well that was a 25.00 savings and at some nce places entire dinner for us. So after being treated with disrespect and embarassed we left and got a wonderful meal at Tequilla Joes down the street where we could use one coupon per party/ticket. This is a family community and they need to change their attitude or they will got out of business which would be unfortunate. read more
