    Dumpling appetizer

Musa did not live up to its expectations. When we arrived, a few minutes before our reservation, we waited for 10 minutes before anyone greeted us. Our table had been ready & set yet we continued to wait while the host(s) were on their phone. Our waitress was very nice, however the experience is not on par with the ambiance and overall vibe that the establishment is trying to accomplish. I ordered the caesar salad appetizer which was very tasty: the dressing and lettuce were both so fresh. The dumpling appetizer was very tasty - the Asian inspired sauce with the plantains were a nice touch. The ribs did not meet expectations- the sauce tasted exactly like the dumplings and we did not taste the guava at all. The gnocchi sauce was good, a creamy white truffle sauce, but the gnocchi themselves were harder than al dente... Overall it was a very mellow vibe, the food was alright.

Saw the ropa vieja mac & cheese on the menu and knew I just had to try them out & I do not regret it one bit. I recommend making a reservation as the place fills up for dinner time. The tostones were nice and crispy & had garlic on them for a little extra flavor.

the kind of dim restaurant where you can barely read the menu. they brought us a tiny lamp. food was good except the pork was way tough and the lava cake was not lava cake

Really great flavors! Drinks were excellent! The croquettes were amazing and so was the cheese and guava. The restaurant was nice but for the prices I could expect a little more like table cloth and free water.

We came right when the place opened at 10am & I'm so glad we did! We experienced wonderful service & the food was delicious! You can tell they really take their time with their menu. Everything we ordered was great including the drinks. The ambiance was nice, too, & it did get busy while we were there.

Service was great. The food was amazing and portion size was very large. I was able to take half of it to go because I was so full. The water they serve there is also really crisp and makes you want more.

Absolutely loved Musa! Have to give a shout out to our wonderful waiter Tomas, he was awesome. This place was a little hidden from where we parked, but they had their own parking close by. We came in for a late dinner and this place was pretty empty, but we did not let this draw us away. The food here was delicious! We had the dumplings de churrasco, empandaillas bistec, camarones al coco, and asaragus. Loved the Puerto Rican twist to the dumplings, literally hadn't tried anything like it before! The camarones de coco were to drool over! The empanadillas were savory. Honestly can't go wrong with anything at this place. It's dimly lit with fun funky aesthetic that makes this place so cool. I'll definitely come back to try a brunch whenever I visit San Juan again!

"No más!" If i wanted to create a caricature of a pretentious version of a Puerto Rican restaurant, this would be it. You'd have better luck walking blindfold down the streets of Old San Juan and walking in anywhere for a better meal What's to jeer - Overpriced - Every dish is either too salty or too sweet/creamy - The "risotto" is so bad, the death penalty in Italy would be extracted for producing this - Service looks labored and understaffed - Do not order the "chewy" tuna tartare, the bland Caesar salad, the cement like Mac and cheese, or the bucatini, or the tostones which are greasy than the godfathers hair - Terrible wine that was corked What's to cheer - Decent spicy margarita cocktail - Bacalao (but it's fresh cod not salted cod)

Amazing brunch spot with creative dishes! Highly recommend the Mongolian chicken and mac n cheese. As a bonus, their cocktails were great too. Definitely worth checking this place out if you're looking for a great meal.

Came in for lunch after our flight into Puerto Rico. The place is welcoming and the staff was great. Very knowledgeable and attentive. However the food I ordered was not what I expected. I got the NY Strip steak and eggs and my girl got the chicken and waffles. Her plate was great. However I asked mine to be medium rare. It came out seared on the outside and cold and blue on the inside. Had to send it back to be cooked a bit more. It was a bit better but still was disappointed in how it came out. This isn't a knock on the staff at all cause our waitress was great. But my plate wasn't great.

Came here straight from the airport at 10am on time for brunch & bottomless mimosa! ($25 pp) Service was excellent. The waitress, Neyletzi, was amazing and attentive. The food was very delicious and large portions! The appetizer we shared, fried cheese, was not worth it. However, everything was amazing! Definitely a place to brunch!

I can not speak highly enough about this restaurant! Their decor and vibe are just so inviting, hip, and fun! But their MENU?! Unreal. I can only hope they open other locations so more people can experience their food!! They have such an eclectic and diverse menu. They put things together that most people wouldn't even think of. And, WOW, it's all soooo good! Their fresh juices are fantastic. Every single thing we ordered was amazing, so it's hard to just list certain menu items, but their French toast has me literally dreaminggg about going back. You cannot go wrong here! Absolutely must-try! The street it's on is a bit tight and parking can be harder but there's also a paid parking lot just passed the restaurant. It can get busy, so a wait time is to be expected, but it's truly worth the wait. Next time I'm in PR, best believe I'm stopping here MORE THAN ONCE!

If you are ever in San Juan... please do yourself a favor and go check this place out for brunch! Making a reservation is a must. The place is small and cozy but the vibes are everything. The food was to die for, the amount and the taste!

While it wasn't quite to my personal taste, I could tell it was well made and I'm sure others who enjoy that style of tamale would love it. My husband had the baked chicken and really liked it. My friend ordered the salmon and said it was moist and very flavorful, and her husband had the garlic chicken, which he thoroughly enjoyed. Overall, everyone in our group was happy with their meals. Attire was relaxed-- I saw ladies in pants as well as dresses, men in pants and shorts, but the staff was dressed sharply in all black. We waited a bit while two hosts and a manager worked to assemble several tables on the patio for a group of ten which had arrived before us. The patio decor-- murals and greenery, were beautiful. We requested indoor seating near the bar, and were the second of four tables to be filled. The indoor seating was a bit darker, had two bartenders working nonstop, and three televisions were playing inside. The inside seating area was quieter and more intimate (plus cooler in temperature) than the patio option. Our server, Raul, promptly greeted us and asked if we preferred English or Spanish. Promising to give honest recommendations of our selections, he did-- and made great suggestions as well. We started with risotto balls as an appetizer-- the guava dipping sauce was delicious. They were cheesier than my husband could stomach, so several remained on our plate. For our entrees, my husband chose the Ropa Vieja en Canoa (peeled, hollowed out like a canoe). I selected the Fried Red Snapper (served whole) with creole sauce, a house salad (lettuce, tomatoes, red onion, orange slices, mango dressing) and fried sweet plantains. After a bite, I asked for a glass of Blanc de Blancs, which was a wonderful, crisp pairing. We could not finish our meals, much less entertain the offer of dessert. By the time we left, all four tables were being served inside, there were four gyesss eating dinner at the bar, and the patio seating looked maxed out as well. It took longer than it should have to get our food and even simple things like refills were slow. It felt a little disorganized, especially considering it wasn't that busy. Despite that, it's a nice platter to share and try a bit of everything. It's really nice that if you order for 4 people, they give you exactly the amount of pieces that are divisible by 4 (so everyone can try 1-2 pieces of each thing evenly). The inside of the restaurant is absolutely adorable, and the servers are dressed in traditional-style Puerto Rican attire, which adds to the atmosphere and charm. Our server was wonderful--very friendly, knowledgeable, attentive, and genuinely pleasant throughout the meal. Unfortunately, the food did not live up to the experience. I ordered the red snapper, which was quite dry, and the garlic sauce lacked flavor. I also informed the server that I do not like cilantro, but my beans arrived with cilantro in them. They were graciously replaced with plantains, which I appreciated. While the service and ambiance were excellent, the food simply did not meet my expectations. Because of that, I would not return or recommend this restaurant.
