    The Works Crepe

Casual family-run old school diner with plenty of breakfast and lunch options, and excellent service. Clientele is exactly what you want to see at a diner: elderly folks, construction workers, post-church crowd, etc. I ordered half portions of the onion rings and biscuits and gravy in addition to my the Works Crepe. When the crepe came, I thought I might have accidentally ordered a half portion as well, since it was smaller than I expected, and served on the same size 8" plate as my other half portion items. I was able to sub salad for potatoes and it was tasty. The other items were fine, and the gravy needed more seasoning.

The breakfast 3/10 potatoes no flavor huge cuts of potato's. I got an avocado toast no flavor and portion very small. Not like how it used to be

First time trying this place. Went with the new President and CEO of the Newark Chamber of Commerce, Lily Mei. I ordered the combo Banana Walnuts and Bacon pancakes and she ordered the Steakloin Benedict. Both were excellent. On par with Bill's Cafe in Fremont and slightly less expensive. Portion size is similar to Bill's Cafe, if not a little more. Staff was very friendly and professional. The interior is like a clean, more modern looking American diner. Barstools and booths abound. Plenty of free parking in front. Overall an excellent first impression that deserves a repeat visit.

I came here after the gym because I needed to kill time before another event. As soon as I entered I was greeted and sat pretty quickly. The service and attentive workers was great. They asked me if I needed anything and were hella prompt. I ended up ordering the protein omelet, it was good, just a little dry because it is a protein plate. I just added hot sauce. The server was attentive and filled my drinks pretty quickly. I will probably come here with my family to see if they like it.

My family and I frequent this place often, and it always provides a delightful experience. The staff is exceptionally friendly and warm, and they truly make you feel like part of the family. Their enthusiasm for their work is evident in their service. We particularly enjoy the upgraded presentation of the mimosas--they seem more refined and enjoyable, and they add a touch of luxury. This thoughtful detail enhances our brunch experience. I highly recommend it for its welcoming ambiance and outstanding service!

*** Update*** Went back today to try something different and so glad I did. The restaurant is decorated with the Christmas spirit, super cute. Osvaldo was amazing and very attentive. I ordered the French toast with fresh berries and walnuts. I have to say...the French toast was DELISH. The bread they used is amazing! Kind of like Japanese bread. The berries and walnuts make a yummy addition. I had eggs and extra crispy bacon on the side and they did it to perfection. I ordered the chicken pesto sandwich to go. This was also yummy but would be perfect with a pickle on the side. I will definitely go back again and bring the fam. Please go and check it out if you have time....oh and they take reservations!

I go here with my boyfriend almost every weekend. We just love the service and the food. We always sit at the same spot. It's spacious and there's hardly any wait to sit. Our food also arrives pretty fast. The server is always kind and attentive. They even bring out other options for us to try - this is in terms of the salsas and drinks. The food portions are great. Overall, I recommend this place to anyone that loves a great breakfast and service.

This place was super good! I got the works crepe and my boyfriend got the breakfast burrito! The inside is super cute with holiday decorations and perfect weekend breakfast spot! Our server was awesome everything was straight forward! Definitely will be back!

    Ultimate Omelet

It has the old school dining vibe. It's right next to the Home Depot. You know this is good service when I ask for the coffee and the waiter brings in the coffee and a glass of iced water without me asking. The ultimate omelette is excellent. It's delicious and the ingredients are fresh.

We ate at My Cafe on a Saturday morning. The restaurant was very busy, but there's plenty of seating so we didn't have to wait very long. Service was decent for it being so busy. We both got All American Classics (breakfast) which is meat, eggs and 2 sides. I got a pancake and breakfast potatoes. My food was lukewarm but the pancake was good albeit a little hard to cut, probably because it was lukewarm. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes because they were cut too large and there was some seasoning on them I didn't much care for. All in all, it was a solid "it's okay" but not a place I'd go out of the way for.

Literally live less than 5 minutes away from here but have never tried it. Finally got our chance to taste their food and it was decent. Major take on everything primarily needed a bit more salt and pepper. I know some places just don't season their food that great but a bit more goes a long way. No complaints on the service and staff. Super friendly and attentive. Since there's only a 5 star rating on yelp id have to be right at the middle of anything. Nothing really stood out from what we ordered. Decent food with great service. Old diner feel and not too busy. If you're looking to try them out please give them a try!

Why did they stop serving hash browns? 👎🏼

An employee told me hash browns were not selling as much, makes no sense to not have this option to me.

We did for a short while but we no longer charge for using a credit card :)

My croffles came in 1 big bag that was sealed to ensure they were packed safely! Food: I wish I had eaten them freshly made, but even after a few hours, we ate every bite! The croffles were thick but not dense! Nice and fluffy, and did not harden over time. Delicious batter dusted with powdered sugar! The whipped cream was very light, airy and creamy! Oreo - If you have a sweet tooth, this one is perfect for you! With Oreo cookies/crumbles and chocolate drizzle all over the croffle! Matcha - Earthy and bold, but not bitter Matcha! Creamy and not grainy! Nutelle & Banana - A classic combo and favorite! The perfect amount of nutella over fresh bananas! Biscoff - Our favorite of the night! It's as if you're eating a giant Biscoff cookie because its flavor is present in every bite! Delicious! Strawberry - Another classic! Tart but not overly sour strawberries. The servers were also proactive checking in to see if we needed anything / if we had ordered, so I appreciated the excellent service as well. My friends all enjoyed their entrees and I loved mine as well (seared scallop with uni toast). They had to modify my entree since I'm allergic to eggs and they were kind ensuring they kept eggs off to the side (my husband wanted them) and leaving out the hollandaise sauce. Even without the sauce the toast was really delicious! I also like the decor - it's modern, clean, chic!

I've probably ordered that exact combination over a thousand times, and Country Way in Fremont makes it better than anyone. The bacon is thick-cut, generously portioned, and cooked exactly the way I like it--crispy without being burnt. The country fried potatoes were outstanding--crispy and golden on the outside, yet soft and almost creamy on the inside. They're the kind of breakfast potatoes that are so good you end up finishing every last bite. The staff is warm and friendly, making the place feel like a neighborhood institution rather than just another breakfast spot. One thing I also love is the building itself. Country Way is housed in a wonderfully preserved vintage A-frame that feels like a trip back to a different era. Instead of chasing trendy, it embraces its history, and that charm is part of the experience. If you judge a breakfast restaurant by how well it executes the classics, Country Way absolutely nails it. Sometimes simple food, done exceptionally well, is the hardest thing to find

It is a Chinese tea/boba shop with a super unique Asian fusion-y type of food. They have musubis, gyozas, fried snacks and even some substantial meals like noodle soups and bentos. I haven't tried much of their offerings but in what I have, have not been bad at all. I've only had a couple of versions of milk teas here for drinks. They run about $7ish and are in big cups (at least 16oz). I like them at the 30% sweet level, still a tad sweet but also refreshing. I'd like the tea flavor to be a tad stronger but it is fine here. Gyoza ($7ish/3.5*) these are small lightly deep fried dumplings. Probably from frozen but as a quick cheap snack, most would be satisfied. I was. Spam Musubi ($10/4*) You get 3 fairly large musubis, which is a lot for me. I do 2 as a meal and do the other as a snack later in the day. The rice to spam ratio leans heavy on the rice part. But their rice is unique as there's some toasted rice specs that give the bites a toasty note. Kinda like the crisp rice on the bottom of a claypot dish. Not in texture but in aroma. Never had a musubi like this. There is a good layer of thick sweet teriyaki sauce which I can do without but does bring that sweet n salty principle into effect. This may become my anchor dish here as it's kinda hard to find a good musubi in this town. Pretty stylish space, loud music I think they are targeting that 16-22 age frame. You order through a kiosk which I don't mind but I find theirs to be very clunky with a lot of prompts and not easy progression. The service is friendly but the wait was very long, about a half hour. While the inside while cute and cozy, was extremely hot/un air conditioned. Just left disappointed because of the lack of sago in a drink that's revolved around sago, the hot environment, and the long wait.
