Would not recommend. I had a horrible experience, at this dealership. I had previously dropped the car off for an airbag sensor replacement. Instead they provided an inspection and told me it was most likely something else. When the issue came back I went back in to have it serviced as required and previously inspected, only to be charged for another inspection instead of replacing the part as requested. I was not happy having to pay for a service I neither requested, not needed. I reached out to the incharge person, he told me It was their policy to do so. It was frustrating as it would have been nice to know that policy before, rather than after the fact. Emailed the Owner Brian V. who seems to answer many of the yelp reviews to no avail. read more

I hate TO be negative, but be careful with this place. From all the positives, it looks like maybe I am the exception. These guys are stereo typical car sales men and not in the good way or just plain incompetent. I have had the car maybe two in half years, and honestly every 3 to 6 months I count on something breaking on this hunk of JUNK. The recent either a bad radiator or worse a bad head gasket. Don't be like me and trust them. I asked them does this car have a chain or timing belt and was assured it had a chain. Well, because of a resent cooling issue, surprise surprise I found out it has a timing built. So now after replacing on of those two I get to change a timing belt. Worst service department ever. If they ever promise something get it in writing because they will not honor what they told you. First of all, it took them almost 3 weeks to get a part for my 2013 Sentra, THREE WEEKS!!! This is unheard of, I am sure it was because no one was making an effort to get it in in a timely manner. After my car was in the dealership for a week, my wife called to complaint about the time that it was taken because she had to get a rental car for $35.00 / day, and she was told that the dealership was going to take care of half of the days we had to pay for the rental. At the time it seem like a barely satisfactory solution, but we took it. Well, it took them almost two more weeks to get the part in and the car fixed, so when my wife went to pick up the car, surprise surprise, they only paid for five days of the rental. And they couldn't care less if we where not satisfied with the service or outcome. I have dealt with several dealerships over the time, but not with one with such lack of professionalism or lack of customer service. If possible, stay away from this place, and if you do not have an option, do not take their word for it, get it on writing. read more

Where to begin. Obviously we had 5 star service when it came to the purchasing of our Kia. Then the fun began, it started with the service department. I asked them to rotate the tires on my car and they were kind enough to charge me for the tire rotation but never actually did. This happened twice, two separate visits. I recently contacted the dealership about canceling something off of my contract. The first phone call was helpful and I was instructed to fill a form out and fax it back. I did. I called 3 different times to ask to if the form was received and each time I was transferred to a different voicemail and still nobody answered. I decided to visit the dealership and the sales staff were rude. They would just walk by and make no eye contact. When I was finally able to speak to somebody we were instructed to speak with Juana. I've never experienced such horrible customer service from a person as I did with Juana. She had nothing to say except she was too "busy" to call us back. I guess she was busy for 2 days straight. But we did get what we came for accomplished. Kudos. The dirty looks from the so called GM named Brian were much appreciated too. Thank you My Kia for the eye rolls and nasty attitudes. read more

I had a Honda for over 7 years, so I decided to try something different I purchased a used Nissan. Within the month of having my car I had an incident. As I was driving it, it stopped in the middle of the road. This happened on my way to work (horrible). Luckily I wasn't on the freeway or I would have panicked and perhaps been in a car accident. I had someone pick me up and drive me to MY NISSAN to inform them of my incident. I was than directed to this lady with glasses. This lady told me I had to pay for the towing. Me pay for my towing?! after i purchased the extended warranty!!! I was so upset. She than handed me a number to call so that I was able get my car towed to MY NISSAN, however when I called I was told I had been given the wrong number. When I told her she gave me the wrong number she seemed irritated and was very rude. After that, it took over two hours to get my car to MY NISSAN even though I live down the street. I left my car there and had a friend drop me off at work. I never received a call back about my car that day, so I went to My Nissan to pick up my car assuming it was ready to go . Guess what?! The mechanic place was closed !!! No call to inform me what was going on, so the other employees who were inside mentioned I had to pay a fee to get a rental!! I was so overwhelmed since I had already lost half a day at work. I could not afford it. They next day I called as soon as I woke up the same lady said my car would be ready the next day. The next day was here still no car and no phone call to inform me what was going on. This was just ridiculous. I tried to keep positive and say as long as my car is ready by Friday because I had to be at the airport. However, my luck ran short because the lady informed me it wouldn't be ready till Monday. I spent money on paying someone to take me to the airport. When I got my car back, a different employee told me I should have gotten the rental it was free. Me being new to Nissan it wasn't a welcoming experience with their misinformed staff and rude service people. read more

I purchased a Versa last month from My Nissan. I couldn't be happier with the vehicle. I worked with their internet sales manager Roy. He was very helpful and extremely patient, as I test drove multiple vehicles. I even went in to do paper work on one car, decided against it, and then test drove another (the car I drove away in). Never once did he make me feel like I was wasting his time. And a week after driving off the lot, the finance manager called me to tell me they were able to get a better interest rate for me than originally anticipated. I went in, signed a new contract and walked away with a 4% less interest rate. I've never had a dealership do that for me before. I think doing my research and knowing about the vehicles I was going to look at made the process much easier and faster. Being completely up front with the salesman about I wanted helped cut out a lot of the back and forth that can sometimes happen in the car buying process. read more

I was referred to this dealership by Costco's Auto Program. I was working with Rafael Ramirez and he indicated to us that they had a vehicle that we can come and purchase. We went to the dealership and looked at the vehicle. We were purchasing the vehicle for my son and they were checking his credit as well as asked us for paystubs. Once we provided them all of this information they were going to let us know the rate for his loan. After spending over 3 and half hours to get there and spending another 1.15 hours at the dealership. Rafael came to us and told us that the vehicle has been sold to someone else. This was the most unethical thing I have ever imagined at a dealership. The salespeople come across telling people they are a family owned business but they are nothing but a bunch of scam artists at that dealership. I would highly recommend people not buy cars from them because they will scam you during the process. read more

Having had a string of terrible experiences at the Cardinale dealership and their complete lack of common customer interaction, I was planning on switching brands. I was in the market for a mid-size sedan and all dealers have something to offer in that size. I was driving to Salinas to compare mid-size sedans and I went to My Nissan. WHAT A DIFFERENCE from Monterey. From the moment I went in the door, they determined what they would offer me as choices. Maria did very well listening and cutting to the chase. She was friendly and professional and was very genuine. No chit chat, but very down to earth and new her stuff. She got me in a car and really listened. She then got the deal made and I can feel that everyone made a win/win situation. These people need to go to Seaside and teach them how to be a dealership. read more

You read Maintenance book,,it says use 0-20w oil and under the hood to also says use 0-20 w oil,,there service department puts 5-30w heavier weight cheap oil conventional oil,,so they don't use the right products, ,that manufacture suggest! Rude manager. Wouldn't even check starting problem because I said I"think" it might be the battery because it was having problems starting. Then told me I never mentioned starting problem. Couldn't even show me the battery diagnostic to prove the battery was ok. A checked box saying it passed is BS. I also thought my car had ball joints and I thought the passenger rear was going out.. Didn't mention that it has bearings and struts and that my safety concerns were not to worry about. Because he was an idiot and doesn't have people skills. The TECHNICIAN was nice enough to come out and KINDLY let us know that everything was good to go and that I would be safe on the road. That's why you get 2 stars instead of 1. Receptionist was rude, sat there for 5min doing her own thing.. No I'll be right with you or just one moment. Didn't even look up at us or make eye contact when she finally decided to help us. Horrible horrible service. My wife and I went in there to look at and and possibly buy a Nissan cube. Salesman tried to sell me a Kia instead. Anyway, we test drove a few cars and then I had some really simple question that he said he didn't know the answer to so we needed to go inside. We get inside and he never answers the question. Instead he brings over a contract and tries to get me to buy one of the cars I drove w/o me even asking! I told him that we still had a few more makes and models that we wanted to test drive, and then he insulted me when I told him the other cars I was interested in. The other thing that really turned me off was that he asked if he could speak to me in Spanish because he didn't speak good English. When I said I don't speak Spanish, he made some negative comments relating to that at which point in time I left. During our interaction he also tried to tell me that the GTR was the new 300ZX. No, sorry, they're not related whatsoever. He also tried to tell me that the Versa doesn't have enough power to push a CVT transmission, which doesn't make sense because the Cube has the same engine and a CVT transmission. I curse your company every day when I get in my car with NO airco and I have successfully talked multiple people out of buying Kia. Your concern for your customers is nonexistent. We took the car in today for the fifth time. Kia kept it after waiting another four hours for the repairs. At first they wanted to charge us for a loaner but after a lot of hassle they relented, kept our car and gave us a loaner. Every time we take in the car we get charged several hundred dollars and drive out with a car without any airco. Try and get your own loan outside of them if possiMake sure you read all paperwork carefully they put things that don't need to be there and charge you for things you don't need. Or better yet save yourself some troubles and don't go there. Update: I dreaded this day where I had to come in and have my car serviced and I was right. I went in to have the oil changed and also made an appointment to have my front tire cover looked at. I rubbed it against the curb and the cover was bent in so I asked them to take a look at it. Next thing I know I'm given a bill for about $378 parts and labor for one tire cover and the person told me that something was wrong with the rim and if I kept driving with it the way it was the air was going to come out and that I needed to have it replaced. So I asked for the person to show me the damage on my rim next thing I know she's going to go ask the mechanic he never comes out never talks to me and the sales person comes back and says oh no never mind it was a mistake. And that she was going to change my bill around and I was asking her is there a problem with my rim do I need to take a look at it I would like to take a look at it if that's what he's recommending and he did not want to help me with that at all. I think he was trying to get me to pay more than what I came in for there was nothing wrong with my rim that's why he didn't want to show me behind the plastic cover. When I asked the sales person again she says oh noOnly if you hit the metal is there going to be a problem but it should be fine now. I left a message for Brian the manager to call me. read more

I found a car in their pre-owned inventory that I was interested in and send an email to inquire about it and asked them for more information. I received an email response immediately that I would be contacted by someone shortly. Within a few hours Bob replied to my email and updated me that he would first make sure that the car is not pending sale, and gather the information I asked about. He gave me a time frame when I would be expecting a response back from him, and he emailed me back within that time frame with all the information I asked for. I was very impressed about his professionalism. Although I didn't buy that specific car as it didn't have all the features I was looking for but I will definitely consider this dealership in the future if I am still in the market and they have a car of my interest becomes available in their inventory. Misleading sales practices, aka. outright liars. I do not recommend. I had a very bad experience with My Nissan Kia in Salinas. I was calling for a used BMW and both their salesman (Julian) and the website posting was inaccurate. I explained that I lived 60+ miles a way and wanted to know a few things about the car before I came to see the car in person. They lied to me just to get me in the shop and wasted my time. Where did they mislead me? - the car was advertised at 49.3k miles, but when I saw it was 50.5k - just above the factory warranty period, i.e. 50k - this is a big deal when buying a used car) - the (low quality) images showed some wear on the leather of the front seat. When I asked the salesman, Julian, if the leather was scratched or if this was due to the pictures, he assured me that it was the pictures. He had just seen the car and the leather was in excellent condition. When I visited the car, the leather was ruined. The previous owners kept an animal in the car and it was scratched all over... read more

This place is amazing from sales to the service department. We purchased a 2015 Rogue from the GM Brian as well as the Internet Manager Bob. Pre-purchase: I'm a shopper, so prior to moving forward with this deal I called about 20 plus other dealerships throughout the state. Not only was the price very competitive, but Brian was completely upfront and disclosed all the information I requested. The purchase: We arrived at 9am Saturday morning and both Brian and Bob were ready for us. Unlike your typical car purchase we spent 80% of our time learning about all the new technology and the other features and benefits of the vehicle. The deal we talked about on the phone was presented at our arrival so we could concentrate on what we really wanted to talk about. In closing: My Nissan is full of happy confident people. My family will be making all future purchases with Brian and his awesome team. This place is an example of what every consumer has wished buying a car should be. I'm still conscious of price, but I would pay an extra $400-$500 to deal with them moving forward. We have purchased 4 cars from this dealership and in the beginning the service department seemed reputable and did a decent job. My past two visits were awful. One appointment I specifically went in to have a bulb replaced on the rear blinker as well as a few minor other items. When we picked up the car we assumed everything had been done. As we left the lot I did the blinker and to my surprise it was not working. I rechecked my bill and yes I had been charged for the service and the bulb but it wasn't working. We went back to the service department and the person who serviced the car said he was rushing. End of discussion, no apology, he was rushing. He went and completed the work but it made me think that the checkmarks they put on your paper for everything they've "checked" probably are useless because the work was probably not done. On June 15 I scheduled an appointment for a smog check. That is the only thing I called about and specifically said I needed a smog check. They scheduled my appointment for Saturday, July 1st. A couple days later I called because we received a safety recall notice. I asked if it could be done at the same time and was told yes. I arrived for the appointment this morning and was told they could do the safety recall but they couldn't do a smog check because they had no technician for it. I was told they didn't understand why they even scheduled the appointment for Saturday. No apology for the inconvenience. Just it can't be done today. Well, as far as I'm concerned the KIA service department has gone extremely downhill since the purchase of our first car from there. read more

I had originally had scheduled an appointment for services on my car that were to only take two hours. I had asked in advance, only because I had to be at work that afternoon. I had informed the advisor of my schedule. He then reassured me my car would be complete in the time frame that was discussed. I decided to wait. Their waiting room was clean as was the restroom. Free coffee,free popcorn and a few vending machines with snacks and drinks. They also have a free WiFi,nice. About 45 minutes into the wait the advisor informs me they will take longer than anticipated. Fine. I ask if I can be dropped off at work and have my car delivered as I was not able to come back. He reassures me once again. No problem. The driver who is taking people to their destinations comes into the waiting room and asks if anyone needs a ride. I let him know my destination,he informs me he doesn't drive that far. I let him know he should speak to advisor. One hour and 15 minutes into wait advisor comes to me and let's me know they cannot drop me off at work and deliver my car. My car would have to stay overnight, but he would be more than happy to give me a rental. I refuse, wasn't trying to be difficult just wanted my car. After a couple of minutes of discussion( were I nicely reminded him of our prior agreement) I decide to reschedule appointment on my day off, needless to say I was annoyed. In returning I had James as my advisor. This young man kept his word. I waited under two hours. He let me know of a problem I had and also had recommendations about upcoming services. He was very professional and polite. Great Job! I will continue to have my car serviced here. read more

My husband made an appointment to make a extra key for his infinity car mind you he walked into the service area a few days before to get informed...they took down ALL the info including reason for the appointment and made an appointment on mon 15th Jan at 0845. On our appointment day to our surprise they tell us they can't make the key a) because they don't have it b) they wouldn't be able to program it anyway!!! What a waste of our morning. read more

Purchased a 2015 Kia Sorento. I had done my research and knew exactly what I wanted. I was so lucky that there was still one on the lot and it was the color I wanted as well. One thing I like about the car is that it even though it is a "base" model it has so many more bells and whistles than any other car I had purchased previously. And what a price. Buy a car in this class from any other auto maker and you pay at least half again as much as I paid for mine. The person I worked with, Frank "the Tank", was so nice. I didn't even have to walk the lot. He took me in a golf cart to the far end to look at the car. The rest of the staff were equally as helpful and friendly. The only reason I give them 4 stars instead of 5 came down to two things. First was the loooooooong wait for everything. I had to wait for my deal to be approved (close to 30 minutes). Then I had to wait again for the initial papers to be ready (again close to 30 minutes). And waiting for the final papers was horrid. I don't know how long it was but i was able to watch nearly half of a football game during the wait. I know that paperwork takes time but sheesh this was the worst I have encountered. I must give them credit though because it could have been worse considering the number of people in the dealership at the time trying to buy. The second thing is that when the car was delivered to me when all was said and done it wasn't completely clean. Dust on the inside doors and dash, the inside of the front window was smeared (sadly I didn't notice this until the next morning or I would have said something), the paper "car mats" the people used to take my car for a wash were still in and the floor mats were dangling loose (I had to ask for assistance to put them in place. I am handicapped and can't bend very well) In spite of the negatives I would definitely recommend this dealership to anyone wanting a Kia. **FEMALES PLEASE READ** So a couple years ago I was having problems with my Jetta and figured I would try and trade it in for a newer car. When I was making a deal for a new Kia car the dealer that was helping me and his associate took a look at my car to figure out what was going on with it while I was waiting in the room. After that they were telling me that the company was not willing to give me more than $2000 for it. So him and his associate told me they would give me around $2500 under the table for me and which I would be getting a better deal. I was young and dumb and didn't understand how sketchy this really was so I agreed. The dealer met up with me at Burger King around the corner and gave me the money under the table and then I met with the dealer at Kmart to hand over my keys and take everything out of my car and put it into my new kia. Now looking back at it I was so dumb to let these men take advantage of me and give me a low blow for my car. The associate he was with the whole time was telling the dealer how he was gonna fix it up and give it to his daughter for her birthday. Now being older I'm realizing how much of a sweet deal he got from my Jetta and took advantage of me to give his daughter a car. I had found out later the cost of fixing my car would only be around $1500. They will take advantage of you if you're a female with no experience in these car deals. The fact that they are making under the table deals for cars and doing it at Burger King with cash is CRAZY. BE AWARE PLEASE!!! read more
