When the restaurant was located on Sheridan I went often in the late 90's into the Millennium. When they moved I stopped going. This is my first visit back. The interior is nice and spacious, and set up well for pandemic eating. The menu has changed a lot, has more protein options and in general less limited to just pizza / pasta like before. I had an albacore tuna melt on focaccia with macaroni salad on the side. The tuna was nicely seasoned, and the bread was soft and delicious. It needed additional mayo on the sandwich for my taste, and the bead could have been a little crisper - but all in all I enjoyed it. The macaroni salad was somewhat disappointing - very plain; I should have ordered the potato salad. My guest ordered some kind of burger and it looked appetizing - he enjoyed it along with the pasta salad (Italian style) it came with. I'd definitely return. read more

Overall, not my favorite. This place popped up one night as I was looking for a quick bite. I ordered a couple of vegetarian entrees and was sure to double check they were vegetarian. The staff seemed busy and were laughing in the background so I was a little nervous they didn't get the order correct but I confirmed. I went to pick up and came home to find that the entrees did, in fact, contain meat. I called and explained. They stayed open an extra ten minutes to remake my order which I really appreciated. Unfortunately, it was not my favorite Italian dish because it was very saucy, but I appreciated them going out of their way to stay open and remake the dish. They did refund me for one meal. The brand new location for My Tomato Pie has finally opened. They have shifted down the Blvd and brought with them the same family atmosphere and good food that you have come to expect. They have relocated to a newly renovated space that was the former location of Buffalo Wild Wings in the Tops Plaza on Niagara Falls Blvd and E. Robinson. The front of the new location looks quiet, lacking the open windows and neon signs of the previous location. The entryway is large and opens onto the front counter, waiting area, and restrooms. The staff was quick to greet and willing to accommodate our seating requests. While we waited for our table to be cleared, I looked around... To the right of the waiting area is a very large banquet room, much more modern and brighter than the one at the old location. It's windows are blocked out by dark shades, and offer some privacy from the front parking lot. Behind this area is the dining room, complete with booths, tables, and half booth/table seating. To the left are the kitchen doors, hiding away a brand new, state-of-the-art, modern kitchen. In the back of the space, behind a mid-level wall, is the new bar. The bar features a tap selection, liquor, and wine. We were seated rather quickly. Our server came by right away to take our drink order. We put in our food order as well, and then sat back to enjoy the new decore. The ambiance is warm and inviting. The dark woods, fireplace, and mild lighting help to complete this feeling. Our table was comfortable and the dining area, although complete with high ceilings, did not produce any annoying echoes. Our food was served about 25 minutes after ordering. Everything was great. Portions were large (especially the amount of chicken that topped one salad). Our server came back multiple times to check on us and to keep our drinks refilled. While we ate we were greeted by the owners, who asked us not only how we were doing but also how our meal was, and then stayed to discuss the new location. This small town attitude is something I always missed when I was living out in CA. It feels great to be invited into someone's home when you are at their place of business. The owners of The Pie always go out of their way to make their customers feel welcome. The experience was really great and I found the new location built positively upon the old. Went here for dinner with family. We were sat right away. I ordered a house salad to start with balsamic dressing which was decent. Variety of greens and the common veggie variety for a house salad, all fresh. I ordered the shrimp scampi for my entree. It was decent. Good sized shrimp on the top but way too much liquid on the bottom of the bowl. The linguine was definitely not drained enough with that much liquid on the bottom of the bowl. Our waiter was pleasant and courteous. What really upset me was one of their waiters or busboys was vaping in the restaurant in Plain view and on top of that he blew his smoke towards open top water pitchers. The same water pitchers they were using to serve us and other tables. Utterly disgusting and made me promise to never come back to this place again. I didn't think vaping in a restaurant was allowed (not sure on the law) but to visibly blow the smoke at the tops of the open water pitchers is disgusting and unsanitary. I'd been going to the former My Tomato Pie for years, but once it moved my visits were more sporadic. However, the new location is definitely an improvement. I came here last Friday with a friend for Local Restaurant Week. It was about 15 minutes before we were seated, but hey, Friday dinner hours are usually packed. Once my friend and I were seated, our waitress came over promptly to take our drink orders. She was friendly and clearly knew what she was doing. It was loud in there but most of the clamor was coming from the bar area, which was nowhere near our booth. I wasn't sure if I could get a gluten free calzone from the Restaurant Week menu because I didn't know if substitutions were allowed. The waitress cleared this up and my inkling turned out to be correct. Because of this, my friend and I ordered off the pasta menu. Two plates of pasta for $20.17 combined is a great deal and it included gluten free penne, which I ordered. The food came out quickly and I was glad to see they didn't skimp on the portion sizes. Gluten free pasta isn't really the best so I didn't enjoy my food as much as I'm sure most people do. However, based on past experience, their salads are fantastic, especially the Strawberry Fields one. My friend really liked her lobster ravioli and we were both comfortable enough to visit for an hour or so. I recommend this restaurant to a lot of people. It's well run and the staff are polite and attentive. It looks amazing in the new location and has a lot more to offer. Definitely try it out! read more

I have to update my review to 5 stars. I love this place. Still has he cozy booths and intimate lighting,which facilitate conversation, but wow the food! I had the steak pita. Gone is the shredded steakum like meats of the past and in is savory, flavorful steak cooked to your liking. it had feta, warm fluffy pita, yummy citrusy dressing and a side of home made tasting pasta salad . I added a side of hummus for $1.00, and it made a good meal great. Absolutely wonderful experience on a crummy weather January afternoon. This place has been around for quite a while and is known for its quality food. I stopped in and sat at the bar for something to eat and drink. I have nothing bad to say about the food. However, I was taken aback by the joking conversation between a patron and a bartender about what they would do if a shooter came in the place. I had a token in my purse for a free personal pizza for a very! long! time! I finally remembered about it when I was in the area at lunch time, but I had very little time to enjoy a leisurely meal. I decided to call ahead to see if my pizza could be ready to be scarfed down as I walked in the door. The guy who answered the phone was happy to oblige. I arrived 15 minutes later, was whisked to my table, and seconds later my pizza was brought to the table. But wait!!!! It had none of the pepperoni I requested. I dug in anyway (starving and pressed for time). When the waiter (who's the same nice guy who took my order and seated me) came over I told him of the error and he offered to fix my meal. I said, "no thanks" and kept on eating. Seconds later he brought out a pepperoni personal pizza for me with a chuckle, telling me they had put it in a box and he hadn't seen it, and I could have both. Wow! Both pizzas (I ate half of each) were absolutely delicious! Great crust! Great sauce! Lots of cheese! Perfectly seasoned! And, the pepperoni was slightly charred and cooked to perfection. I can't wait to eat my left-overs. The place was super cute and very clean. And, the service (the service!) was top notch. I only wish I lived closer because this would be my go-to pizza place. Same delicious menu, new location! The interior of the new place is really nice. Styled along the lines of The Cheesecake Factory. Classy! I'm so glad that the food is still the same. I have been to My Tomato Pie multiple times and am always pleased with the food and service. This occasion, I went with my father who ordered a burger and I ordered their chicken fingers. I absolutely love their hot bbq chicken fingers they're one of the few places that offer this sauce. Furthermore, my father said the burger was the best cooked burger he has in awhile. The place gets quite busy on the weekends and becomes on the louder side. The new location is glorious! High ceilings, fireplace, nice little booths everywhere, beautiful bar with everything new and updated. The pizza here is good. More like a NYC pie than a Buffalo pie. A very fresh bakery-style thinner crust with a nice variety of toppings. When I generally want pizza, I want a good Buffalo Style pie, but once in a while I enjoy a more traditional Italian pie, either here or at Romeo and Juliet's. They have a list of specialty pizzas and then of course you can make your own. It looks like that could get pretty pricy though, since each topping is about $2.50. We came last during Restaurant Week and got the special for $20.16- 2 salads and a large specialty pizza. The salads were super fresh and the pizza we got was the Felice. We really enjoyed the mushrooms and cheese. Dinner out for a great price with leftovers for lunch tomorrow. Lovely. The service was friendly, the parking was in the large parking lot out front right next to all the other businesses in the strip mall (Tops). We have long frequented this restaurant at the former Sheridan location, and will be sure to be enjoying the even better new location again soon. read more

I just ordered and picked up a large pizza with pepperoni , mushroom and onions. Now while the pizza as good ( loved the cupped pepperoni) the were no onions and only a couple of mushrooms on it. At $3 per extra they could have at least afforded to actually put some on the pizza. If I could post a photo of the pizza you could see. We came here for a private brunch buffet style. The pizza was interesting. They all had scrambled egg on them. I though the pizza was good but undercooked. The fresh fruit contained a large variety and was super sweet and fresh. The eggs had scrambled cheese had cheese in them. They were so good. They also had bacon, sausage and home fries. Had my baby shower here a week or so ago. What a fantastic experience. I had never been there before and honestly just chose it because of the very reasonable prices for a small shower (28 people). The server, Jamie, was great. They were so accommodating. They let us come in early to set up and Jamie got us some water and they allowed us to choose the background music. Okay- now the food. We did the pizza Buffet. It was AMAZING! I didn't want to overeat because it was my shower and I had to open the presents and it was difficult not to. This was our first time at the new location and we were definitely impressed with the inside. This is a great place to come for a meal or to have a banquet. The inside is very nice. I have visited the old location several times and have always been really impressed with their pizza. Today, I decided to try their lemon chicken pita. My meal came with half of a pita that was overstuffed. I was pleased with the generous portion size. I probably could have used one more pita, but I just ate the leftovers like a salad. However, the pizza is very good as well and I would also recommend the Chicken Parmesan. The decor was pretty basic but still inviting. Nothing too modern or over the top. Our waitress was right over and was attentive throughout our visit. We each got salads. Mom got the Cobb Salad. It was a typical Cobb salad. She suggests getting the balsamic vinegarette since it pairs nicely with the crumbly blue cheese. I order the Antoinette's Chopped Salad. Chopped greens, egg, onion, Olives, artichoke, tomatoes, and roasted red pepper tossed in balsamic vinegarette. The salad came out with the dressing on the side and not tossed. Not a big deal to me because then I could control the amount. Both salads looked and tasted fresh with good quality ingredients. I think we would both stop in again if we're in the area. First of all I want to say that they were so accommodating with every aspect of what we needed, including the timing of drop off and allergy issues. Just called on Friday the 26th of February at 6:15pm to see if they took reservations for Sat the 27th. The woman who answered the phone was extremely rude to say the least. I realize you may be busy but that's no excuse. Unless you post it on your website we have no way to find out unless you call. Perhaps she should find another line of work if she can't deal with the public. During these Covid times you would think restaurants would look forward to you coming in. This place surprised me a tad. Good pizza and good wings. Real traditional buffalo style pizza. I had the pepperoni and sausage pizza with their red sauce and mozzarella cheese. It was perfectly cooked and hot. Well done. The pizza features the classic 'curl and burn' pepperoni. The sausage was also shaped like curl and burns, not often you find sausage on pizza like that. Their large pizza is 17 inches in diameter and more than enough for two people, let alone one person. I also got their garlic parmesan wings. They were cooked fine. Quite juicy with every bite. Drenched in their garlic/parm butter sauce. Honestly, they probably could have been in the fryer for another minute to get a more crispy exterior, but, that's me nitpicking. Not a big deal. The garlic butter sauce was great. Not overpowering. The service was fine and our waiter was attentive.
