My vegan is always on point. It's my favorite vegan restaurant. Always fresh. You won't be disappointed with anything that you get. Everything is yummy and packed with full of flavor. The Wonton is very yummy, with a great light broth. It evens everything out because it adds a balance. With everything packed full of flavor, the won ton definetly evens everything out. The Thai iced tea is the best Thai iced tea that I have ever had. It's the real deal. The servers are great they do a great job getting out the food fast. I am going to keep going back until I have tried the whole menu. This place has great service and is there best place to go if you want to have fun and splurge. Leftovers are just as good. As a new vegan...less than a year...thank goodness for My Vegan. We ordered the fresh rolls with spicy hoisin sauce--fresh, crisp and yummy with faux chicken that was so good! The chicken satay was was next and my husband who grew up with this dish could not believe how close to the real deal it tasted and looked on the skewer with a side of peanut sauce. Next we had the Lava noodles and Yellow Curry Noodles from the Chef Specials...the curry noodles were fantastic and the hubby actually stole them from me. The Lava Noodles though were good also with flat noodles and basil...the gravy is a little thick so it comes down to personal taste. Wow... Seriously good food. Ok so me and my girlfriend got the Vegan beef jerky 10 out of 10 taste like fresh BBQ (must get). Also got the Yellow Curry noodles which was very flavorful as it had a savory, spicy, and slightly sweet flavor 9 out of 10. Lastly we got the Tom soup it has coconut broth and fresh veggies again very interesting flavors that worked well 8 out of 10 . For dessert a piece of their freshly made carrot cake which was great 9 out of 10. Over we were very satisfied. Although we stopped here on a whim since we were in the area I can say that we will back for sure to try more of their menu. read more

service was good packed house, yet the dining experience was mellow the food was mediocre the tom yum noodle soup was plain sweet. it's suppose to be spicy and no spiciness was anywhere to be found. the burger didn't work so well with the large and dense buns. if they had used smaller and lighter buns, it would have been worlds better. only thing i can recommend is that banana dessert. overall, nobody in our group was impressed. this is the only place to charge you to use a creditcard. bring cash and low expectations, so you won't be disappointed. read more

Tried this place out due to the positive reviews. I didn't really see what all the hype was about. The service is quick and plenty of parking. $10 minimum to use card. The portion on my papaya salad (to go) was a bit small. Taste wise I've had better. The pad Thai was good but nothing to get all excited about. It's close to work so I would go again but not often, only if I really had to. Combo meals are about $9-10 bucks with tax included, not much of a special really considering most Thai places will do half that price with bigger portions. read more

If you dont like their service and dont want to leave a tip, expect them to literally stop you and demand a tip. This place is pretty astounding. The menu is SO extensive-- they have everything from pancakes to burgers to Thai food of every variety. I've been there three times now, and I've always walked away completely satisfied with my meal. The portions are huge generally, enough to feed two people. I've had the pepper streak wrap- which was pretty decent, the lava noodles- which were really good, and a wide assortment of some other dishes that didn't compare to the first two. I know, I know. This place is a nice little vegan friendly, thai-influenced restaurant. I say thai influenced because there are some items on the menu like burgers, teryaki and pasta, but most of the items are thai, and are the items I recommend getting here... but then again, I really love thai food. I know, I'm slow on the review uptake as I came here when it first opened. This is a tasty, hole-in-the-wall cafe near the Fillmore Gold Line station. It's really a Thai restaurant that just serves vegan food with some Chinese and American entrees. My favorite dish was the P.E.T, which I think stands for Pumpkin, Eggplant, and Tofu. They make a mean lemonade too. I came here because for the life of me I couldn't find a vegan restaurant to take my vegan friends to and they were cramping my Pasadena restaurant style. Now we have a place where everyone is happy!! Last time I came here it was 10 'til 9pm I shuddered to think they would slam the door in my face. Worth it solely for the experience! As a former vegan, I knew I had just walked into a rare restaurant that understood the concept of fresh, FLAVORFUL vegan food. That being said....although my (lunch) was very tasty and the vegetables were fresh, crisp and juicy I FELT that the portion was smallish, comparatively with other veg restaurants. A great casual homestyle restaurant. Located in a strip mall, this a simple no frills restaurant, but the delicious food and quick, friendly service more than make up for any lack of ambiance. I love this place! I've been a bunch of times but always order the same thing; what can I say, I'm a creature of habit. I like the P.E.T. (pumpkin, eggplant, tofu), one of their house specialties. I ordered it based on the waitress' suggestion, and it's absolutely delicious! I like mine with fried rice or sweet potato fries, and a Thai iced tea. My friend, also a creature of habit, always orders the Pra Ram (soy chicken in a cashew sauce over spinach), which is really delicious too. She usually gets full before she gets to the spinach, so I finish hers. Let me also say that I'm not a vegan, or a vegetarian, but a full-blown carnivore, and I love My Vegan! There's one pretty good dish here that my boyfriend just can't get enough of: the P.E.T. - I believe it stands for Pumpkin, Eggplant, and Tofu. Everything else is alright. Things here don't come in large portions, so sometimes it's hard to stomach paying $11 (or almost $14 with a soft drink, tax, tips) for a plate of stir-fry vegetables. We end up coming here about once a month because of its proximity to my boyfriend's place and because he gets weird cravings for that P.E.T. dish. Personally, I would never come here - there are too many wonderful dining options in Pasadena and the larger LA area. read more

Ohhh, My Vegan how I love you!! This place is awesome. I haven't had one bad plate of food in the past year and over 20 visits to this place. The food is flavorful, Thai influenced Vegan deliciousness.(With some American dishes as well). This restaurant makes being Vegan absolutely doable without feeling deprived in the slightest. It is a very comfortable cafe/ diner feeling spot. The place is clean and they are located in the little strip mall on Arroyo. The prices aren't bad and I suggest paying with cash as they charge extra for using your card. I'm not sure how healthy all the sauces are but it really is quite good. Their tofu chicken is my favorite meat replacement for all the dishes and the brown rice is amazing. I would list all the good food options but I've had almost everything on the menu and love it all! Ok fine! Here are some: The Yellow Curry, the appetizer chicken Sate is a must, Orange chicken,Pad See You, Kung Pao,Tom Yum Kai Soup, and Pineapple Fried Rice are all good choices. The Carrot cake is eh... ok. Kind of dry and nothing special. They always run out of cupcakes, so I still have to try those. Their cookies by the register, the oatmeal cookie in particular is so good. Overall, this place is a really good vegan spot and is definitely a safe place to take non-vegan/vegetarians as a pleasant first Vegan experience. Okay, here's the deal... my partner and I recently split and we loved trying vegan places together. We even had "our" own special vegan Thai place we would try to frequent. That said, dragging my butt here solo while missing her PROBABLY wasn't the best idea... That aside, the place was good. The Thai Iced Tea wasn't as sweet as I would have liked or am used to, but it was decent. I was sad the Pad Thai didn't come as a combo (with rice and all) and I had to order a spring roll separately. The roll itself was good and proper temperature, but even that sauce left me feeling like it wasn't sweet enough. Do I just have a wild and crazy sweet tooth? Maybe. Either way, the place didn't knock me off my feet, but it was still good. I'm going to come back and give another dish a shot. Just wish they had more combo options! Food was enjoyable but forgettable. I found some of the meat substitutes to be either too jerky textured or too stringy. I know veggie meats aren't perfect but I would probably grade their products about a B+ in terms of flavor. I found their noodle dishes better than their appetizers and other non noodle dishes. If you are in the area, definitely give it a try. But it's not top grade vegetarian food I would travel from out of town to try. read more

My husband and I are not vegan but we decided to come here after seeing all the reviews on Yelp. I even had to beg my husband to try it since he is strictly a meat eater. I was so glad that we tried this place because now my husband loves their Yellow Curry Noodle. The noodles come in a brothy type of curry which is rich but delicious! It's slightly sweet but also has a creamy texture. The noodles and soy chicken that come with it are great! We think they should server this with bread because it's such a waste to leave the soup behind! It's so damn good! We also tried their Rad Nar which comes in a huge bowl with lots of gravy. That was also another one of his favorite dishes. The Tom Yum Soup is good as well as their Mushroom Salad which is tangy with lime and has a spicy kick to it. And the plus, is that they have really good Mango Sticky Rice. We've come back twice already and my husband still can't stop thinking about their Yellow Curry Noodle! read more

My Vegan is in a semi shady plaza but the inside is very modern. My sister and I are trying a different vegetarian/vegan place each week and this has been the best so far. When we arrived, the place was totally full--a good sign:) I had the Pad Thai signature which was delicious and my sister had the Ramen which was alright.
