Parking can be a hassle since it in a shopping plaza with a market and beauty school. The place is right on corner so inside is bright and airy, it's old decor but keeps clean. Tables can be sticky so careful. Service is good, just don't like that they dropped the menu and stand there waiting for you to order right away. But fast and quick turnaround. I'm glad that I ordered the duck noodle w/ wonton (size big) dry since the soup is abit salty for my taste. The noodle is well cook and tasty plus the duck is well braised. Overall it was very good.

The store is clean and the staff are very nice. This location is spacious and they have a lot of parking. The food came out fast and fresh. I really like their egg noodles and the crispy pork rinds. We also like the white noodles as well. The wonton is very moist and tasty.

Was at the Advanced Beauty College and needed to grab lunch to go for hubby and I. I was greeted when I came through the door. The server took my order of a small Seafood with Egg Noodles with soup and small Seafood with wide noodles stir fry with sauce. One can get them dry as well. When I got home, the food was still warm and delicious. I loved how big the shrimp & how much seafood was in my stirfry. My husband said the soup was d delicious yummy

Mi Vit Tiem is solid, the braised duck is quite tasty. Broth wise, I prefer the darker version cooked with traditional herbal medicine (thuoc Bac). They are generous with the pickled vegetables which is much appreciated. The vibe here is like a restaurant you would find in Vietnam. Plain stainless tables, open kitchen, walking past trays of prepped food on the way to the bathroom. Parking can be a problem as the lot in front is small.

My family loves this restaurant and we usually order togo from the first branch. This time we wanna try the second one to see if it was different and the experience was miserable. We ordered the house special dry noodle and the noodles were extremely salty and I had to mix it with hot water to get all the sauce out. Even with just the protein, it was still salty, and the soup as well. They also gave us a small amount of pickled chili which is only enough for 1 person while we ordered for 3. Overall, I wouldn't want to come back here again, probably gonna stick with the first branch.

I have been to this restaurant multiple times and the food is great. There isn't much to say about the service. Today we decided to order our food to our home from this restaurant. Our food gets here and I open the bag that it's in and two flys pop out and fly away. Very off putting but whatever, i thought that the food was most likely not contaminated. That was until I opened a box with food inside and there were THREE flys INSIDE of the box. I don't think this has ever happened to me when ordering food. This was such an awful experience, and it is very concerning to think how these flys got inside of our food. This is a health hazard that need to be addressed.

Hot egg noodle soup with seafood, meat and veggies. Ordered the small and it was just enough. Definitely hit the spot.

The shrimp with fat rice noodle, dry.

Everything's was so good! Loved it so much will definitely be back. Service was nice, staff was kind. Came around 11 and by 11:30 it was full.

A classic! My parents have been coming here for a long time and I had to tag along with them to get some noodles. The service and the atmosphere are very typical of Little Saigon joints, where there's nothing too much to rave about but isn't bad. I had the Mì đặc biệt, which has yellow egg noodles, sliced pork, and pork fat. It comes in a dry option with a Hoisin-type sauce. I had the noodle soup, which I thought was perfectly done. The noodles were a perfect consistency and the broth was well-flavored without being too salty.

Hue Ky Mi Gia - Food and Service Appear to Be Declining…read more My wife and I decided to try Hue Ky Mi Gia. The restaurant is located in a busy plaza, and the parking lot is shared with several other businesses, so finding a parking space can be difficult. Location and Parking -- 2/5 The location is convenient, but parking can be challenging because many businesses share the same parking lot. Atmosphere and Comfort -- 2/5 The air-conditioning was weak, and the front door remained open, so the restaurant felt warmer than expected. Service -- 3/5 The service was only okay. The waiters were not especially friendly or welcoming. Food -- 2/5 I ordered the mì vịt tiềm. As everyone can see from my picture, my bowl came with only one small piece of bok choy. In comparison, pictures posted by other customers show the same dish served with several pieces of fresh vegetables. The noodles were okay but much too oily. The broth served on the side was not hot enough, and the duck was dry and tough instead of tender. The pickled vegetables were also too sour. Restaurants can change over time. Based on the difference between my meal and the meals shown in other customers' pictures, the portions and food quality appear to be inconsistent and declining. Cleanliness -- 2/5 The dining area was acceptable, but the restroom needed more attention and cleaning. Overall -- 2/5 Stars Overall, our experience was below average. Hue Ky Mi Gia may be worth trying once if you want something different, but the food, service, comfort, and cleanliness all need improvement.

However, I'd encourage anyone who hasn't had the dish before to try it if you're a fan of a thick starchy broth and wonderfully chewy udon noodles. There are different meat options to go along with the soup - crab, pork, etc., or any combination of. There's also a "light" broth option which is less thick but equally delicious. Aside from the soup, the egg rolls here are deliciously crisp and crunchy as they're made with rice paper instead of the standard egg roll wrapper. The restaurant is a great example of a hole-in-the-wall that's 100% worth trying. Expect to wait 20-30mins to be seated during normal dining hours due to the low room capacity and popularity of the restaurant (the food comes out really fast though!).

We waited about 30-40 minutes with a few parties ahead of us. They'll take your order while you wait. The restaurant itself is very tiny, no-frills, and more of an eat-and-go kind of spot. We ordered the bánh canh tôm cua, which they're known for. It came with a good amount of crab, shrimp, and meat, and the noodles had great texture, but I found the broth a little lacking in flavor. Would recommend adding in lime and fish sauce provided at each table. My partner got the bún thịt nướng chả giò but thought they skimped on the egg rolls and grilled pork (they used the same meat from the bún chả, which I didn't like). For the wait and food, I probably wouldn't come back since there are so many other great Vietnamese options in the area.

Grandpa's Kitchen…read more I've been a longtime customer because their Phnom Penh-style hu tieu has always been very good. They were actually one of the first places around to serve this style of noodles, and I've enjoyed it for many years. However, over time, I feel like the quality isn't quite the same as it used to be. Maybe the prices are a little lower now, but the portions also seem noticeably smaller. I recently stopped by in the evening for some snacks. The atmosphere was open, casual, and lively, although both the service and the food seemed a little slow coming out. The balut was way too big for me, so I honestly couldn't really eat it. But the grilled blood cockles were large, fresh, and very juicy, which I really enjoyed. The restaurant itself is small, but it feels airy and comfortable. They also have outdoor seating, which is especially nice in the evening when the weather is cool. Overall, I still have a soft spot for Grandpa's Kitchen because I've been coming here for a long time. I just wish the food quality and portions were more like they used to be.

The side of "salad" (a small plate of lettuce and tomato slices) was also nice to have. I ate it with a lot of the pickled garlic. Definitely a filling meal. The restaurant has a lot of seating, but it can get a bit warm. We were seated near the door but were feeling the heat throughout our meal!
