We ate here last week. The service was horrible. The waitress I'll just identify as having some words tattooed on her arm ignored us for the 40 minutes we were waiting on our appetizer. She failed to say it was coming out soon or I'll check on your order. I would make eye contact with her and she would look away. When it did come out there was no comment. Shortly after, the entrees came out. I mentioned we never received our salads. We did get an apology here. If the food had been great I could have overlooked the dismal service. I've lived here for ten years but only in the last couple of months did I start frequenting this restaurant. My 1st impression was decent food at a reasonable price. I went back with friends and it was good. Tonight was my 4th visit and last. Went with my kids and grand kids and waited for 1/2 hour before we got water...it was about an hour for our food to arrive. That being said, many restaurants are struggling with staffing now so that wasn't a huge issue. I ordered a small Greek salad that came as a simple garden salad sprinkled with crumbled cheese of some sort...they say feta,but I'm not sure what it was. Not a Greek salad. They mixed up the order and my dil's dinner was wrong and not even close to what she ordered. We had waited so long with a squirming 4 year old we were happy just to share the food that did come as we didn't want to wait any longer. My gyro came with bland tiki sauce ...really bland.The sliced meat was really like 3 slabs of meat covered with onions lettuce and 1 slice of tomato, smothered all over with Greek salad dressing...this is not a gyro... When I checked out, I mentioned to the guy behind the counter that I was disappointed in my salad.Because I was...I didn't want to mention the rest of the miserable experience and make a scene with the kids there ,so I just mentioned the salad...and now this guy wants to argue with me!...No mention of the dinner that was made completely wrong that had to be taken off the bill,no apologies for ruining our dinner experience, this guys wants to go to the mat over a $4 salad. The first time we ate here a couple of years ago, it was awful; and unfortunately nothing has changed. From the ragged booth seats to the overcooked fries, the best thing was the iceberg lettuce salad. Server was nice but food not good. I hate to leave a place and the smell stays on my hands, clothes, and hair. To add insult to injury, our bill for grilled chicken, fries, salad, and a meatball sandwich was $24 And change, including a $10 coupon...so $34 before tip. We dined here before, but I don't remember much from last time. This time we had a coupon for $10 off two entrees. There are many good menu selections. My wife had the Italian Combo (lasagna manicotti, meatball and Italian sausage topped with meat sauce and mozzarella cheese; served with spaghetti/meat sauce, a Greek side salad and garlic bread for $16.99). The portions were large, and she said it was excellent. I had one of the specials: Seafood Ravioli (crab and shrimp) with a Greek side salad and garlic bread for $13.99. The ravioli was disappointing because the flavor of the pasta and the sauce overpowered the seafood (and there was not much of the seafood). I could not taste the seafood unless I picked the seafood stuffing from the pasta. When I paid for our meal, I gave feedback to the cashier regarding the seafood ravioli (I think she was the owner/manager. She said, "It's been made that way forever. No one else complains. You could have ordered a different sauce." Regardless, the seafood stuffing was less than half the thickness of the pasta surrounding it. Chef Boyardee does a better job with ravioli in a can. Next time I will order something that is hard to #$%^ up, probably a pizza or a calzone. Stay away from the seafood ravioli. Humor the owner/manager. I wouldn't give this frozen fake "authentic" food to my dog. I was greeted by one of the owners at the drive in window and she had the most rude attitude. Shouting my total and not even a smile came out of her. This restaurant must not be able to afford to serve fresh food anymore. It's a disgrace. I paid $35 dollars that is going to be disputed with my bank shortly after this post. Hard COLD burnt pieces of so called "gyro" meat. I got a side of what looked like frozen veggies, cold in the middle and underwhelming taste of freezer burn on them with a pinch of salt to add some life to it. Pita was soggy underneath the nasty pieces of "lamb" with warm tzatziki sauce that had a grey hue. The Greek salad looked pathetic- ice berg lettuce, 1 olive and a tomato. This is a GREEK salad???? The personal pan pizza for $10 is a crappy hard pita round with some sauce and cheap mozzarella hardened on the top and thrown in a box- cold. Spinach pie- cold and looked like it was reheated in the microwave. 2 small triangles. I got stiffed. I'm so disappointed even the customer service was so sickening. I called the owner and told her about the food and she said "nothing I can do about it" and hung up on me. CLOSE YOUR BUSINESS. This PLACE NEEDS TO BE SHUT DOWN. BEWARE. On top of falling food quality and higher prices you should also really check your bill. If you add up your bill from menu prices it will always be about $2-3 off from what you calculate. I called this place to see if they have a private room so we can host a rehearsal dinner here for our wedding. I called in the early afternoon and spoke with a manager who was a male. He said they did have a private room and he put us down for a reservations. It would be for approx 25 people. He said no problem. The week of the rehearsal dinner, I called on a tuesday to confirm and he confirmed with me. My then fiance called on Thursday to confirm and the manager seemed a little annoyed that we were confirming again but agreed that he still had us down. There must of been a bad communication because they actually didn't! Me and 24 people showed up on our reservation and the hostess had no idea what we were talking about. She called the manager who was a female and she said she had no one down for that day. I was seriously about to have a heart attack. I was already so stressed with my wedding I wanted to cry. She told me to hold on and they were going to set up some tables. Well they took us to the "private room" which was NOT private. There were two other people eating there sitting at two different tables. Hostess just walked us to that area and walked off. I asked her if she was going to put the tables together as well as give us menus. She then asked those people eating at that private room if they can move. I was horrified but that is just ridiculous. They finally set the tables together as well as give us menus. We had 1 server. 1 server for 24 people. I will admit that server was awesome for her being thrown into this situation, but we definitely could of used more servers. Food was ok. Definitely a lot of microwaved food to get us in and out. Yum. We really enjoyed this restaurant. It's definitely a family place. Not too fancy and super friendly to our little guy. I got spaghetti with marinara which was good. The sauce was a bit too chunky and not very saucy, but good. My husband had a chicken dish smothered in what he described as spinach artichoke dip. He loved it. We visited this restaurant last night and we were very disappointed. I ordered the veal parmigiana, it was horrible the sauce had a burnt taste to it and the veal was something that you could buy in a big box store another words it wasn't fresh veal but it was like a veal hamburger. Yuck My husband had the chicken parmigiana and his sauce also tasted burnt which makes for a nasty meal. I don't believe we will be going there again anytime soon. read more

My husband and I both had the gyro platter for lunch. It came with a house salad that consisted of a bunch of lettuce drenched in dressing with one tomato wedge, one olive, one thin slice of cucumber, and topped with cheese. I would like to start by stating I love their Calzone's; which I always order. My issue, however; and the reasoning behind this review; is the poor customer service. This is how they've earned their rating. On Wednesday, May 11, 2016, I placed an order for a meat calzone substitute extra pepperoni in lieu of ham; add ricotta. I have placed this order enough to know that they don't always have extra ricotta for the calzones; which they tell you when the order is placed. My order was repeated back to me twice, by a hurried and unpleasant female. As I was at work, a colleague picked up lunch and brought the food back to the office. Upon inspecting my food; I noticed there was no ricotta. Not to make a big issue; I called Mythos and spoke with Brittany to inform her that my calzone was made incorrectly. She informed me that she did not know what to do and asked that I hold. During the three minutes I was on hold; I had the distinct pleasure of listening to her conversation with another female about someone being accepted into school. I held the line until she returned to the phone. Brittany stated a member of management would not be in until after 5 PM, and that she would leave my name and number for someone to call me back. Today, Thursday, May 12, 2016, I called Mythos back, as I never received a call yesterday. I spoke with Taylor. I asked to speak with a manager and I was informed that the manager would not be in until after 5 PM. I stated that I was told the same thing yester by Brittany but that no one returned my call. Taylor placed me on hold... Approximately 13 minutes later (as my call timer now read 15:59) Taylor came back to the phone. She asked me how she could help me. I asked for her name and she confirmed that she was Taylor. I stated that I just spoke with her and she asked me to hold. She stated she would check for my name and number due to me having called yesterday... She placed me on hold again before I could consent; as I was informing her that I had already been on the phone for over 15 minutes. I was placed on hold during the middle of my sentence. Approximately 5 minutes later, I spoke with someone different (unfortunately I cannot recall her name - presumably a manager, as when I informed her that I was informed a manager would not be in until after 5PM; she sounded as if she was surprised to hear it). I informed her of my reason for calling and after interrupting me several times; she stated that Taylor was busy and assumed I was calling back for another Calzone. Additionally, she stated that there probably wasn't any ricotta left yesterday as to why the order was missing it. I stated that I was charged for the ricotta and that Taylor being busy is no excuse for having a customer on hold for over 15 minutes. Her tone was very nonchalant; as she again stated if I was calling for them to prepare another calzone... I told her that would be fine but that I would pick it up later that night. To make a very long story short... Customer Service, Customer Service, Customer Service!!! This was a very easy issue (and I use the word issue very lightly); I would have been satisfied if they had just notated that I called and placed ricotta on a future order with no charge. If they'd like they could have refunded the order - I really didn't need another calzone; as I did finish the one that I had today. Now, they have taken from their overhead, cost me 21 minutes and 29 seconds of my time, and lost a customer and any referral I would have given. I prefer to support local establishments; but not if this is how they are going to treat their customers. read more

I was going to give this place two stars. But, while thinking it over, I decided I never really want to go back. So one star it gets. We came in during lunch. Place looks nice. Good booths all around. Nice surroundings. The lunch menu has decent prices and comes with a drink. The girl who sat us, asked what we wanted to drink and told us it was included. So we each got a tea. But the gyro wasn't on the lunch menu. So we each had to pay $10 for a gyro off the regular menu. While lunch seems to come with a salad and drink around $6. Ordering a gyro from the dinner menu gets you jack. Nothing comes with it. My friend orders theirs without tomatoes because of an allergy. I specify I would like mine WITH tomatoes and even that I would take extra. So we wait. We waited almost twenty minutes for lunch. It was taking so long, we almost left. When our meal gets to the table.....its a pita laying flat on a plate. There's what must be a gyro "patty" - imagine a hamburger patty sliced in half so you can make it fit a hot dog bun....but with gyro spices. Then its topped with two cups of shredded lettuce and some onion slices. We get a tiny cup of cucumber yogurt. This meal was a joke. We are talking maybe 2oz of meat. And neither has tomatoes. I ask if I can get my tomatoes and she offers to take my plate back....but by now I've waited for thirty minutes and I'm not giving her my plate for lord knows how much longer. This place was a joke. It's a joke on people here in the south who have no idea what authentic food tastes like. I'll never be back. It was a darn near $30 lunch I wouldn't have paid $15 for and I get angry every time I drive by their location. This place sucks. read more

Oh boy! Oh boy! How can I start....? Well... we got there (party of 2) and we were taken to a table right away. There were a good number of people in the restaurant, so it was a good sign (we thought). A nice waitress came and took our drink orders and she came back shortly with our drinks. That's great! So we decided what we wanted, she took our orders (we both ordered the Greek combination and an order of cheese bread), and within a few minutes she brought the cheese bread (more cheesy toasts) and our Greek salad. It tasted good. Now our entrees... well about an hour later no sign of the food yet then my husband asked the waitress to put his food to go when that comes. At that point, the waitress apologized but before that there were no updates or anything about our food... so some minutes later she brings his food to go and mine not to go! Seriously?? She didn't even give me a chance or asked me if I wanted to go or not when my husband asked for his so I assumed that she understood that both were to go. Here she goes get me a to go box. She did offered a dessert to make up for the looooonng wait. We declined the dessert (that's a miracle for us to decline desserts!). So we went to pay and the cashier wasn't brave enough to ask how was everything. I guess she looked at us and saw how hungry we were and how turtle slow their kitchen was working. So we finally got home and sat down to finally eat. I admit the food was really good. It was not greasy or charred like some other place we ate. We enjoyed the food. I disliked how slow the kitchen was! I guess next time I will call 2 hours ahead and order to go! The food and most of the service of our waitress were the reasons for the 4 stars. read more

Great Italian and Greek food. The house dressing on the Greek salads is amazing, and the portions are huge.

We got the greek combination platter and a pizza. It was a good choice for a noobie greek food eater. My favorite was the pizza (but to be fair, I tend to stick with safety foods rather than branch out). The sauce was sweeter than what I typically like, but with the toppings it balanced well. The combination platter gave us a great chance to try out traditional greek dishes without committing to one thing that we were unsure of. The house salad dressing is fabulous, and that says a lot coming from a ranch dressing expert! This was a great change of pace. The customer service was great! read more

There were so many things wrong with this restaurant. First, they misspelled words on their daily menu at the front of the restaurant. Very unprofessional. Second, they only give you one olive on the already very plain "Greek" salad (which is not Greek in any sense of the term). Third, the silverware had a sticker on it, which was gross. Lastly, my meal was ok but the Greek potatoes were quite bland and the steak in the gyros was extremely chewy.
