I really like Greek and Italian food, but this place is just ok - not bad, no negative experience, but nothing to write home about. The service is also fine, just not amazing. With all of the options in Taylors and Greer, I think I would try a different place first.

    Gyro platter....$14.99!!!! Seriously???

I give it 4 stars, because service (Missy) is great. My Gyro platter was not, over-priced in my opinion (see pics). However, they have to have some good food because small dining room is full!! And I see a lot of good looking dishes being served. I'll be back to try something different!

Fettuccine Alfredo Carbonara - 1/5 stars - Alfredo is NOT carbonara sauce!!

Alright update time and we're rollin' it back a star. Let me tell you why. Once again bad service and bad food has fallen upon deaf ears. The managers that run the restaurant are absolutely delusional to customer complaints even when they're shown they are blatantly wrong. Where to begin. First up my appetizer, the lump crab dip appetizer, is taken to my table the same time as my dinner which when that happens I always find idiotic because, well, WHYYYY would you do that? The whole point is that the appetizer is to arrive as a starter before the main course. But I tried to move past that. The server said "appetizers are made all at once so there's no way to tell who's appetizer is who's". Remember that for what's coming up. Anyway, I take a dip of it with one of the oversized bites of baguette and taste some cheese and cream. Then start to take another bite and am now on a hunt for some actual crab...there isn't any. When I ask why there's no lumps of crab in the "lump crab dip" I am told that they are puréed into it. Let's be honest - first thoughts - oh...my...god. They didn't. When the same server comes back instead of hinting with a complaint we blatantly request it be removed from the check because it's either eat that hot or eat our dinners hot and there's no crab meat in the crab dip so they finally agree and then tell us that "there is lump crab meat in the sauce, I blended it myself". Okay remember earlier? First off "lump crab" isn't a type of crab, it's the size of the serving, it's pieces of crab in lumps roughy 1/2 to a teaspoon in sized per lump. Secondly - earlier she stated it's musical appetizers which is why we were served it the same time as our dinners but you just said you made it yourself - so which is it? So after being caught in a lie I ask for my cheesecake which came into a to go box I didn't ask for. So that was kind of rude because it's like asking us to leave. Then someone with me orders a slice and specifies they'd like to eat it there. To which I was highly entertained. The desserts themselves, as always, are safe from ridicule. Whomever does those does them right. To make the ending quick we were told about what a great seller the appetizer was on our way out. Which I'm sure everyone would try it once as I did, making something new seem like a big seller. But it's another story when the same people come back. Fool me once, as they say.

Great Italian and Greek food. The house dressing on the Greek salads is amazing, and the portions are huge.

Our friends had eaten there before; for us, it was our first time, but we definitely plan to return! In wanting to see if they could accommodate a little birthday surprise, I called ahead and spoke to Michelle. She was extremely polite and attentive to my detailed plans, stating the restaurant would give a slice of cake to our friend. Although her shift was soon ending; she took explicit notes for the oncoming shift. I called later to make sure everything was in place; Michelle was a woman of her word, so the planned surprise was a go! Italian Garden is a quaint restaurant with super-friendly staff. We were blessed to have Nada as our server! Their menu selections are extensive, with something for everyone's tastes! With a beautiful smile and pleasant personality, Nada took our orders. Our food arrived in a timely fashion, and we were all pleased with our choices! Their portions are plentiful as three out of the four of us brought food home. After we had finished our delicious meal, I was ecstatic to see not one but the entire staff walking toward our table with the cake, singing "Happy Birthday"! What a beautiful way to conclude our dining experience! In many ways during our leisurely time there, Italian Garden Restaurant exceeded our expectations! If you are looking for a sweet atmosphere with delicious food at fair prices, look no further than this restaurant!

This place was great! Starting off with the salad. It was…read morepretty good, it came very quickly, in about 5 minutes. It was seasoned alright, but it was a little too peppery. The croutons were crispy, and the lettuce tasted high quality. The kids pasta tasted of basil a lot. I wouldn't really recommend it for most kids (they are pretty picky lol) But it was good! The sauce was thin and flavorful. The pasta was cooked well for a child's taste. Our two main pastas we got were the White Lighting and the Tumblin Tumbleweed. The White Lightning was creamy and rich. It was basically a fancy Alfredo pasta with stuff in it, but you can't go wrong with that! It was really tasty overall. The Tumblin Tumbleweed was amazing, though. The pasta was cooked very very well in my opinion! (Al Dente.) It had a distinct truffle taste to it, which I loved. It had a ton of stuff in it, like mushrooms. It was delicious. By the way, if you order an order of bread and get this pasta, you can dip the bread into the sauce of this pasta when you're finished. The service was amazing. Our waitress was very kind. She handled our feedback on the basil spaghetti well! The atmosphere was very nice. It's a small building, but the decor is very nice. There is about 12 tables in the room, not including the bar seating. If you're going on a Friday or Saturday evening, a reservation would be recommended. Overall, the price was about $98 including tips and tax. Amazing!

The theme and decor is different and so cute, plus they played Western movies from back in the day. Our server was excellent and helped us with the menu choices as some were a bit of a different style Italian than the norm. The Burrata appetizer was amazing and very fresh. My husband had the cacciatore and loved it. I had the marinara and while it was good I didn't love it. It was a bit sweet for marinara and needed Locatelli cheese. Again, not bad just different for my taste. I do want to try other entrees the next time we are visiting the area because I'm sure they are great as well. I had their version of an espresso martini which was made with spiced rum. I was intrigued and my first sip was interesting. The second was good and the rest of the sips were delicious! We would definitely go back if we travel to the area again.
