This is not a place where they provide free chips and salsa and we ordered also ordered some for the table along with the guacamole. Everything tasted fresh, maybe a little too much lime in the guacamole though. The place felt like something between a chain Mexican restaurant and Javier's but smaller. There are reasonably priced dishes or you can get a tomahawk steak as well. There seemed to be something for everyone to choose from in different price ranges. At the end of the meal the bill was about $100 for my hubby and me or $200 for the table including tax and tip. A pleasant place with good food that I'd be willing to return to.

This casino surprised me with promotional dining offers this month, so I decided to take advantage of that to visit at least one spot which I previously hadn't. I waited until Saturday night and predictably had to settle for seat at the bar, which was pretty packed, to avoid a long wait. It was pretty busy, but a bartender eventually got to me and took my order. She also offered free chips and salsa, which were pretty solid. The chips are crunchy and plentiful, and the salsa is a pureed red salsa that's mild enough. My actual order was not as exciting though. The Carne Asada Steak Tacos ($19.00) came with a good amount of steak, but they were all cubed rather than sliced, which kept them pretty chewy. The sauce was something really bland and dark red rather than the chimichurri which was described on the menu, and I found myself adding the complimentary salsa from the chips to help. The rice was also too dry and the side of beans was very unremarkable. Borracha doesn't appear to be some hidden gem which I've been missing all these years, but rather just a bar with some relatively affordable eats for those who are hoping for a step above the food court but don't want American fare. Maybe I'll try a couple more entrees with the upcoming weeks' dining credits, or maybe not. If you aren't coming here for happy hour, I would just skip it entirely.

They literally had their chips, salsa, water etc. 10 minutes before we did and we weren't even there. When we did get a waitress she was perfunctory and less than friendly. When I told her we were there for my wife's birthday her answer was "oh that's nice". Far cry from "we will make the evening special for you". We got our food which was fine but absolutely nothing. Throughout the meal the waitress spent all of her time chatting with the large group in the middle - obviously her friends or whatever because they got five star service while we were simply ignored. If we wanted to get a refill of a glass of water or in my father-in-law's case, some sour cream, had to literally get up and pull her away from her buddy table to get service. In addition, not a happy birthday, dessert nothing. So much for trusting the manager when she said that she was going to comp the meal or even at the minimum do something to celebrate the birthday. If we went to something as mundane as Applebee's my wife would've got a piece of cheesecake lol. Very disappointed in this place. We love the food but the service is just crap.

Before I begin BIG SHOUT OUT TO JAZZY JAZMIN our server. Whooo hooooo!!! She was excellent and patient because me and my friend are a handful. LOOOL. Jazmin was very attentive and checked on us often. Thanks Jazmin! We got a free margarita by "checking in" on the Yelp app. It was well worth it. I got the spicy jalapeño cucumber something margarita. It was nice and spicy with the tajin around the rim. YES! Can't remember the name but it was the bomb. Quickly followed up by the peachy something (uuugh I can't remember the names). Both were excellent and put me in a BIG MOOD!!! The food came quickly which was shocking. It was fresh and hot. We ordered that queso dip trio with the queso, salsa and guacamole. ORDER THE GUACAMOLE!!! It is EVERYTHING! We also had the fish tacos and lobster tacos. We would definitely order both again. This used to be my FAVORITE restaurant, for over 10 years. Recently they redid their entire menu and for one it looks so cheap like an Applebees or something instead of the nice Mexican cantina style they had before. What really did it was getting ride of half their nacho options, like the Thai Chicken nachos which is literally the only thing I've ever ordered, in 10 years. I'm a concierge on the Strip and used to refer everyone to these restaurants, never again. We walked out last night and while I cried the whole way home, I will not be going back again. You have ruined everything and seriously adding all those extra drinks and daiquiris? Come one you're literally known for your margaritas why are you diluting the menu? This is such a disappoint and you've lost one of your most loyal costumers. I've been to every location in town, even when you still owned that stupid chicfila and access to a nacho daddy has been considered a factor in moving out of state, at least it was. We have been regulars at this restaurant since it opened. Always were happy with all parts of it. However, as of about a month or so ago it all changed. We did give it a second chance this week when we had family in town. So twice now we've noticed changes. I'll review our recent trip since there were 6 of us. All our meals were too spicy (which I usually like). I got the Lemon Pepper Wings which are usually spicy but these were so spicy I could only eat 2. My wife got nachos which didn't even resemble prior orders and they were too spicy. My daughter daughter got Fajitas which didn't even look like fajitas. There weren't strips of chicken just a pile of meat. Our house margaritas were awful. They were so sour and they made us pucker. My wife sent hers back. Our meals were not served at same time but in 3 intervals. Something big has changed there. Maybe new management. We won't be back! I no longer recommend this place!!! read more

My disappointing experience at this Tex-Mex restaurant. My visit left much to be desired. The Filet Mignon fajitas were a major letdown, with an excessive amount of veggies and a disappointingly small portion of meat. The overpowering saltiness further marred the dish, earning it a 1/5 rating. The Queso with beef wasn't any better, also deserving a 1/5 rating. It seems like quality and taste were sacrificed in favor of quantity. Service didn't save the day either, as it was slow, earning a 2/5 rating. It's clear they need to improve their staffing situation to provide a more efficient dining experience. To top it off, the price was unjustifiably high at $50, making it feel incredibly overpriced for the subpar food and service received. We had such an amazing experience at Nacho Daddy on Cinco de Mayo! Even though it was super busy, the entire staff kept everything running smoothly and made us feel welcomed from the moment we walked in. The food was absolutely delicious, drinks were on point, and the energy was perfect for the holiday celebration. What really stood out was Kitchen Manager Brian taking the time to personally check in on our table to make sure everything was great. That level of attention and customer care made the experience feel extra special, especially on such a hectic night. You can tell the team truly cares about their guests and works hard to deliver excellent service. Huge thanks to Brian and the whole crew for making our Cinco de Mayo celebration memorable. Our first visit to this restaurant was with a large group of about 16 people. The restaurant was exceptionally clean and had a relaxed atmosphere. They also had a full bar. I've been to Nacho Daddy several times, and the service I received from Katie was one of the best experiences I've had there. She was friendly, attentive, and made sure everything was taken care of without ever being overbearing. I have never done a review before but this was definitely worth a write. I think my servers name was Hannah. She was super personable and recommended one of the best margs I've ever had. The white peach is a must have. I ordered the filet fajitas and was super satisfied. They even light the plate on fire right next to the table. My kids were amazed. So second visit to nacho daddy food again was very good but when we walked in not very busy when I asked for a booth we were told that those were for reservations only again they were not busy. The fajitas plate was not what expected for $28.00 lots of veggies but not much meat very disappointed. Then the chips and salsa were not include in the meal like every other Resturant we had to pay for them. We probably will not return to nacho daddy to high priced and not worth the money. read more
