After wanting to try something new locally, we decided on Nacho Mamma's! I love plantains so I had to try their plantain bowl and it did not disappoint! I came early on a weekday, maybe 5pm or so, and the person working the register was very nice! He took the time to tell me about the menu as this was my first time at either of their restaurants. I ordered a bunch of food for me and my family. My wife and daughter both had burgers; neither was happy with the food. My daughter said it was burned and my wife said it was bland. My son and I both had tacos. The chicken was ok, the steak was about the same but the chorizo was like a salty burger, it wasn't even broken up. The food here is fairly expensive as well. I'm sure I'll try this spot again, but hope they have time to work our their issues. read more

Several times I've considered writing a positive review for their food, but almost every order I place has a mistake- beans when there shouldn't be, missing extra Gauc or Sour Cream, entire specialty tacos. I just let it go because I did enjoy the food and felt petty called about $2.50 of missing guacamole, but enough is enough. I've given this place probably $30 in product that I haven't received. Tonight I called and got refunded for a missing taco and will not be returning. My burrito bowl that I ordered also had almost zero pulled pork in. I get that businesses are struggling so I hate to write anything negative right now, but to me it feels like they are taking advantage of their customers. For now on I'll drive a little further to go to Union Burrito, the food is better and I don't have to check my order before I leave the store(not that I ever remember anyway). read more

Service: Mediocre. Waited at the register for a few minutes with several of the kitchen staff looking at us, until someone came to take our order. Guy at the register didn't see too knowledgeable about the specifics of the menu. Food: Mediocre. Flank Steak tacos were just that, barely marinated flank steak, very bland, covered in shredded lettuce, and shredded cheese. Everything looked and tasted like it was bought from Stop & Shop, and was very bland, and had no spice, or any hints of a Mexican influence. Price: Expensive. The tacos were $4.25 each. Which is far more expensive than Talullahs Taqueria, or Xaco Taco in Providence, and both of those places have far, far better food quality. Over all, if you are feeling incredibly hungry, and lazy, and craving something adjacent to Mexican food, try Taco Bell, but if you don't want the mess, try Nacho Mamma's Barrington. read more

Good customer service but I've gotten takeout here twice to bring back to the fam and BOTH times the orders were wrong! We ordered online so it was very straightforward. The first time they made half our bowls into burritos, but my husband and son are allergic to gluten and couldn't eat them. Second time we ordered tacos with fajita veggies- it came without the veggies. Literally just cheese, salsa and beans. Also, my salad was basically all rice. A few shreds of lettuce were on the bottom, soaking wet like a soggy marshland. I understand mistakes happen but 2/2? The odds are not in your favor. I order online for the convenience and peace of mind knowing my order was clearly written out accurately. I don't have time to sit in the car after picking it up and open every single item to pick through it all and make sure it's correct- that is typically the job of the establishment. Love this new location! So much bigger than the Bristol spot and very bright and clean. Perfect for brining my toddler. They did have many high chairs too. I ordered a flank steak and fish taco. Steak was great, nicely charred. I didn't live the fish, but I prefer a battered fish for a taco and I didn't really read the menu before ordering. The jalapeño bites were my favorite. They were served with a red pepper aioli that was delicious. My daughter got the kids quesadilla with rice and beans. It was a generous size for the price. They also have sangria here! This place is newly opened. Arrived here for lunch 10 minutes after they opened. I was the first one here which gave me time to get to know the counter person (owner?) Al. He's from southern Cali which is the "Green flag" for Mexican food. Al is friendly and helpful. The restaurant is clean and has flat screen tv's. There is a large open window to the kitchen if you want to watch your food being prepared. I ordered several items and they cam out piping hot in 20 minutes. I tried a $9.99 taco combo with three different proteins. They were delicious. A steak burrito, a chicken chimichanga, fried chicken quesadillas, a mushroom burger & a Portuguese burger. Both burgers came with large hand cut fries, perfectly seasoned. The burgers were cooked perfectly to my desired temperature. The toppings were excellent. The chimichanga and the burrito were huge and stuffed with fresh ingredients. The Fried chicken quesadillas were are favorite. I was given a hot sauce that was deadly. Ghost pepper on steroids. My eyes were bleeding. Kid you not. Best Mexican east of the Mississippi so far. read more

Stopped here on my way home after working almost 18 hrs in Boston... I was initially nervous about the prices- but you get what you pay for. Incredibly bad service. Placed online order, arrived at the scheduled pick up time. Waited 25 minutes for our order! The owner was present and incredibly rude. When I paid for my order he scans my card and walks to the back room without saying anything. I had to retrieve my own card from their machine. I leave, get all the way home and realize we were missing a quesadilla from the bag. Had to drive all the way back while my family waits to eat. Staff had issues finding my order, eventually have the quesadilla made for me. Staff informs owner about missing food, owner says nothing, no apology, walks back to the kitchen. I express to girl behind the counter I was upset and she was apologetic and offered me a free drink. Sat at the table to wait, heard owner talking about me from behind the scenes, basically accusing me of lying as if anyone in their right mind would lie to get a free quesadilla! We have been here twice. The service was good and staff were friendly. Unfortunately, both times the order was incorrect. The food was average, and nothing really stood out. The queso doesn't come with chips, luckily we had some at home. We assumed that chips would be included with a dip, so be mindful when ordering.
