The nail tech should be ashamed of her bad work just because I would not let her pressure me into a full set This salon is way to classy for someone that dose bad work

I usually love and recommend this place extensively, but [[HIGHLIGHT]]I was pretty disappointed last time I came in.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] First of all, my fingers are SORE. I have both acrylic and acrylic nail polish IN my cuticles. The silver chrome isn't even full painted on, the gems are sloppily placed, and the design of the chrome on the other nails seems messy. The only other set that had me THIS disappointed and in pain afterwards, was a set that was $100 less than this. I will say, [[HIGHLIGHT]]the other sets I've gotten there are GORGEOUS, and I was serviced by Trish and Liam in the past.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I still highly recommend those two if you're looking to book an appointment.

I have VERY mixed feelings about this place. The manicure I got was very good but not great. I got a Gel x set that's was pretty but INSANELY thick and very obviously rushed. The tortoise shell design was done very well but these nails were a little crooked and just way too thick for Gel X. The bonding gel was so thick that is oozed out the front and she didn't clean it up. These were also 108 dollars (not including tip) after being advertised as 60. (I know the tortoise shell thing is considered nail art that's is three dollars a minute but an additional 58 dollars for a 7 minute add on is ridiculous) I think they looked nice and they asked a REALLY long time (probably due to being little plastic bricks) but I got some good enjoyment out of these. [[HIGHLIGHT]]Just wish they told me that the tortoise shell would be an additional 50 dollars before she just jumped into it.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Pretty cool modern looking interior but VERY loud music. If that's your thing then you'll love it.

Don't even hesitate to come in here, even if you don't have an appointment! Anytime I come into Nail Lab PDX, [[HIGHLIGHT]]I'm always so warmly greeted and gotten in quickly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Mimi was a new tech who did my acrylic fill today, and she was AMAZING! Friendly, attentive, and super talented. Would recommend requesting her 100%

I had gotten my nails done by Ivy and my set turned out so pretty! [[HIGHLIGHT]]It was my first time getting gel x nails and now I think I'm addicted.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]They were all so nice and talented.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I get compliments on my nails everywhere I go. It's been 3 weeks and they still look amazing! I highly recommend!

Looked up online for a nail salon and this showed up. A brand new Nail Lab PDX in downtown Portland. They literally had their grand opening a few days ago! Went in for a simple manicure and pedicure. Two girls named Trisha and Ann worked simultaneously on my hands and feet while I relax in a massage chair. I got exactly what I needed and felt fresh and clean. Complimentary drinks are available. I had hot green tea. There was another customer requesting red wine in another chair. My only complaint was the music being played. If you've ever been to Vietnam or other South East Asian Countries, the music that's played loud in street hawkers alleys sounds like Asian EDM. This was the same exact music that's played in the nail shop. I couldn't relax and feel comfortable. Luckily I had my earbuds listening to my own music. Several types of payments can be made either by credit card and also Venmo.

Went in while on vacation for a gel gold pedicure and gel gold manicure. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The Vietnamese tech who performed by pedicure was a delight. She was always smiling and had a strong hand during the massage which I appreciated.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The Latina manicure tech was not as nice. My manicure has bubbles in each nail, the edges are rough where the gel polish ends and during the exfoliation part, she didn't ask me to remove my ring and Apple Watch which resulted in the product all over my items. [[HIGHLIGHT]]She also did not take the sample book away making me hold it on my lap the entire time. When she realized I was uncomfortable she made the comment "you can rest your arm on the pillow, that's what it's for" in a rude manner in which I replied "not with this sample book".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The other issue is the salon is small with techs crammed in every corner. This resulted in the customer next to me who was also getting a mani and pedi, the tech, without my consent, just moving my purse and cell phones so she could use my arm rest to perform the other customer's nails. We were in there like sardines. Photos of nail polish edges for visualization. I am referencing the ethnicity of the techs as I did not get their names. Both were wearing aprons with their names but their long hair covered their names. I wanted to take a pic of the salon and how packed in tight we were but I don't believe in taking pics of ppl without their consent or knowledge.

Ivy did an AMAZING job on my nails. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I could not be happier!!! Literally looks exactly like my reference photo and obviously they are gorgeous.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] 100% recommend.

Went in for a $85 set and got scammed into paying $130 because of multiple upcharges. I was not made aware of. I wanted a silver French tip and wasn't allowed to pick my base color or the silver I wanted. Instead I was forced into getting chrome (not knowing it was going to be more expensive. I just wanted silver). My thumbs are two different lengths and some nails are super glittery (not what I wanted) and some are chrome. Liam was nice enough but went too fast for my liking and hurt me multiple times throughout the service. Will not be back here. Super disappointed in the service I received and the sneaky sliding scale pricing.

Dyan absolutely changed my life with these nails! She somehow made them look better than the inspiration pictures. Ann gave me the best matching pedicure I've ever had and was so gentle and fast. All of the staff members were incredibly attentive and kind. If you're looking for phenomenal nails, high end vibes all while sipping on a complimentary mimosa, look no further. This is your spot.
