Everyone was nice, and my nails didn't come out bad, but I was very disappointed with the pricing and overall value. I went in for a fill and a gel pedicure with glitter on both my toes and nails. I asked for a soft ombré look, and while I didn't mind how he did it, I do mind being charged $15 for a "design" when all that was done was simple glitter polish halfway up my nails. No special ombré technique or tools were used -- he literally just polished halfway up the nail. What really upset me were all the extra charges. I was charged for long nails even though I only got a fill and barely needed one. I honestly don't understand how there's a long nail charge when the work is only being done near the cuticle area. To make matters worse, it has been exactly one week and one of my nails has already broken. I ended up paying $99 total for a fill and pedicure. Meanwhile, I recently paid $108 at another salon in Lake Elsinore for a full set and pedicure, and that included an actual design on all 10 nails. The pricing here honestly just did not make sense for the amount of work done. I usually tip well and really wanted to love this place, but unfortunately I will not be returning.

I was trying to make small talk with Christy, but it was apparent that she was bothered as she ignored me. She was rushing and was rough. Meanwhile, her client patiently waited and was friendly. Christy got closer than Vee, but the encounter was uncomfortable Christy asked if I liked them and I responded replied "it's better". I told her I liked her clients shape. As I paid, the receptionist Candace who approachable and welcoming asked if I liked them and I said I wasn't happy but they tried. I was honest and thought they would make it right being it was my 1st visit. I responded to everyone asking how they did. I was advised to call and talk to Christy. They saw what I saw. I called back today and Christy declined to fix them. She said I told her I loved them. I never said I loved them. Anyone who knows me know I am honest about what I like. Color was off, nails are different shapes and sizes, and the professionalism/quality was not there. I really wanted to support a business in Lake Elsinore, but this is not the place. UPDATE: RESPONSE TO OWNER I called you prior to posting a review. I gave you the opportunity to hear my concerns. You said you would not make any changes to my nails. I had to pay another salon to get them fixed after asking you if you could fix them. Not the way to treat a new local customer.

Thrilled to have found Letting Go in early March when Lorraine put me on a waiting list and got me in on a Friday when another customer cancelled. Perfect timing, too, because it was just a few days prior to me and my mother putting ourselves on "house arrest" because of the C-Virus scare. Although Lorraine is a "nail artist," I told her I only wanted something similar to what I have been doing a long time; purple base with glitter. I asked her, don't you have samples you can show me from a bottle? She says, "We don't do it that way here. I custom-make your gel colour and glitter to your specifications." I showed her some pix of my nails from the other salon, and she used that as a starting point. Now that I trust her implicitly, I will likely let her come up with her own purple colour and glitter ideas next time. It is nearly a month since I had the work done and only ONE nail is starting to chip so far. I hope I can hold out until my house arrest is over, like another month, by clipping the nails carefully. This is a small intimate salon, not crowded with people since is appointment only. Unlike most other salons, the technicians are not rushing, so plan extra time for this type of quality. Also, be prepared to pay more money here than at an assembly line salon, but it is worth every penny of it. (My last nail shop couldn't even get the colours straight cuz the samples were often in the wrong spot with the wrong number). That can't happen here because there are no samples with numbers! I had went in for a fill for gel x and the guy that did my nails said…read morethat they couldn't do fills for gel x nails which i've never heard before but ok, and then i should him the picture of the nails i wanted and he said yeah i can do that, so he takes off my nails and puts on a new set and then proceeds to literally CUT me like 2 different times and then he does the base color and it's literally a pink color it looked genuinely horrendous and said that he doesn't have the nude color because that's only for "acrylic nails" obviously it looked like shit so i told him to change the color to white nicely and he seemed to get super upset and proceeded to cut me 2 more times while filing fingers. the nails turned out okay but it was not what i wanted so i'm very upset and disappointed also the price was crazy for something so simple, just seemed super rushed and unprofessional and the shaping was also not good every hand looks different. don't recommend
