I wanted this place to work out and gave them a couple tries before leaving this review. Before heading over, I called the salon to get an appointment. All three times, I had to wait 15-30 minutes upon arrival even after calling ahead for an appointment. I understand it's difficult to stagger customers but for this to happen all three times told me they aren't organized/don't honor appointments. Now to the nails...so disappointing. The staff is all nice but they definitely rush. Sadly, the gel manicures starting chipping on day 4 and 5 all three times! The salon is relatively clean but I wouldn't come here if you're looking to relax, or want nails that last. It's loud and chaotic. read more

The staff was great and accommodating. But 1) getting a pedicure there is a joke. You have to sit uncomfortably and put your feet in what doesn't look or feel very hygienic. Not relaxing at all. 2) I got an infection of my middle right finger either because of cutting the cuticles too much, or because their equipment was dirty. The lady that worked on my nails was great but i seriously think they need to upgrade their equipment and become more hygienic with all the money they're making!! I won't go back unfortunately. read more

I'm only giving this salon a 2 stars because they were very clean and sanitary, but I went into this salon on my lunch break thinking at least it would take 45 minutes for a manicure with Dip but nooooooo it took hour and 45min!!! Then the nail tech completely changed the shape of my beautiful shaped natural Nails into a coffin shape! WTH! I mean I had to high tail it back to my office and I didn't have time to complain. So this almost 2 hour manicure oh and $55 later I'm extremely unhappy:( never ever again!! read more

Outstanding sanitation and social distancing precautions!!!!!!!! My gel manicure turned out wonderful. I have been to two different nail salons that were running their business outside and Nail Paradise by far is the cleanest with the highest quality. They have a nice set up behind the store. Unfortunately, I have to rescind my five star review from over a year ago and put three stars instead. There's been a change of staff, and my experience today was far from spectacular. One of the worst pedicures I've ever had, with uneven toenail length and angle, besides cutting them ridiculously short, did not buff the nail surface or the edge, so both are uneven, the manicure tips/gel set that I had put on today not only has a different shade from one hand to the next, so apparently a coat was left off of one hand, but the thickness of the nail, evenness of the nails was so off, and even after my request for corrections, it was so half ass, that I resorted to having to come home and fix the evenness of the nail length myself. I'm so disappointed that I will have to find another nail salon as they have really dropped the ball over the last year and a half. read more

Found this place via yelp. My nails were trashed- black stiletto gels. Two had acrylic underneath, three were broken- the results of repeat gel nails. I needed a place open on a Sunday and I happened to be on the Westside. They have a (small) parking lot in front, which is great if you have time to wait for a space to open, otherwise there are street meters. The salon was busy but they had many women working so there wasn't any wait. My original plan was to get new gels and Cathy said that I should just do a manicure next time, to help my nails recover, so instead I went with a gel removal and manicure ($20). The ladies are super nice and I'm happy with my nails. Looking forward to going back for gels in the future. read more

Went to this place armed with a $40 gift certificate, which according to their menu would get me a mani/pedi and a little extra massage. I had heard that the massage was a nice bonus so I was looking forward to it. I was not expecting them to take my shirt off in the middle of the salon. What the what?? The woman wrapped a towel around me and I tried to settle in. I felt a little like that scene in the Wizard of Oz where they are re-stuffing the Scarecrow before he sees the Wizard. One gal was filing my nails, while another was scrubbing my feet and the third was pounding my back. Not very relaxing. Anyway, I had 2 real problems with this place. One is that I asked them not to cut my cuticles and they did, going so far as to seriously nick one of my fingers. The second is that at the end of my mani/pedi/pounding, they said I owed $40. I told them I had my gift certificate and they said "No, you owe 40 MORE". Uh....pardon?? $40 for what, exactly? I am not down with places that try to slip extra things by you (like the 'foot massage' and 'special scrub' I was supposedly given). read more

Nope! Never again... ever! I don't live in the area but I'm out here very often, usually weekly. I go to a place in my area that does amazing nails and for fabulous prices. I walk out of there spending only $40 for a full set and a killer spa pedi that has the massaging chairs to help you relax... and that's including tip!! But I was here visiting family in West LA and needed my nails done so I thought I'd try someone out here. Two 5 star places were closed on Mondays so I went with the 4 star Nail Paradise. A few bad reviews but more from people that really liked this place - so I decided to give it a try. My mistake!! First, as someone else stated, there are NO prices listed... anywhere. I think they size you up when you walk in as to how much you'll be paying. Unfortunately for me, I have a nice purse (a gift) and my clothes always match. I walked out of there spending $62... I only gave them $3 tip each, my total was $56 (I usually tip 15-20%, $3 was like 10% - and even that was too much). "But what was so bad?" you might ask... I paid $56 for a basic pedicure (no spa chairs anywhere in there) & basic full acrylic set while sitting in an oversized rolling office chair (kind of hard to keep those chairs still when someone is tugging on your feet) had my feet put in super hot water (I pulled them out every other second until I finally got used to it, or it cooled down, not sure which) and noticed the pedicurist kept trying to get me to agree to add ons - I declined them all. Halfway through she tells me the pedi will be $23. $23?!? For a regular pedicure with nothing special and not even a massaging chair?? The pedicure came out ok, no deep digging, no ingrown nails removed, nothing special at all. While I was getting the pedicure, the manicurist came and set up for my full set. While I'm twisted to the left for 30 minutes (trying to keep my legs straight for the pedicure while turning my upper body so the other gal can do my nails), the manicurist gave me the worst full set I think I've ever had. I wanted square tips but apparently this shop only knows one style - rounded. While she was doing my nails, she dropped the brush that she was applying the acrylic with on the floor, wiped it on the towel and kept going. Isn't there some sort of health code violation there? I was cut twice with the electric filer. I have two crooked nails. I was told my nails were dry when I knew they weren't ready, but was assured they use "good polish" - I now have three ruined nails, but kept getting complimented from the two ladies on how nice my nails looked. I'm guessing they're both blind. When it was over I saw her scribble $32 on a receipt... I thought that was the total for everything. When I paid, she asked for $56 - $32 for the nails and $23 for a pedicure does not add up to $56 - fine, they can't add. I added in $3 for each of them, anyways. SO - $62 for two nicked fingers, two crooked nails, three ruined polished nails (see pics) and just an OK pedi. I know this is "Beverly Hills", but NO! You don't over charge people when you do a crap job. Given the good reviews they have, I can only think they either pad the reviews themselves or these people don't know a GOOD nail job or a FAIR price for one. read more

My friend and I spontaneously decided to come here after work during the week. My friend got a gel manicure and I got a pedicure - both came out looking fantastic and lasted a very long time. I can't say enough great things about the staff here. This is the friendliest staff I have ever come across at a nail salon. The employees made an effort to learn my name, they were super patient with me when I asked to try on ~10 different colors until I finally decided on the one I liked the best, and the owner kept checking in with me to make sure everything was going okay. $35 for gels but checked in and got $5 off! They made my stubby nails looks so nice! Girl went to town on my cuticles. Apparently, there were like 2 layers of grossness. She took out a rotor blade thing so that goes to show how they had to go heavy duty. But she got everything off and it looks so good! read more

My first time trying out Nail paradise since I was in the neighborhood. I came in with my best friend and her daughter (all 3 of us got mani and pedi) we were greeted right away, everyone was very polite and friendly. Even tho the salon was busy considering it was Saturday and we didn't have any appointment, we were seated quickly after picking out our polish colors. I have to say I LOVE my gel mani and polish pedi. The girls were really friendly and did an amazing job. I can't stop looking at my hands! My friend loved her nails too. 3 happy and satisfied customers. I definitely recommend Nail Paradise and will come back again. read more

I went there early morning for a mani/pedi. Was the only Customer and was seated right away. Everything seemed to be going well until the lady that did my pedicure got up to attend another customer that had just walked in. Just like that! She left me in the middle of a pedicure and said the customer that had just walked in was her regular and she preferred to do her nails. I was sitting there, none of the other nail technicians cared to finish me. Never experienced poor service like that. Don't recommend the place. Rude staff. read more

I really wanted to love this place because it's right around my corner. I went there probably a total of 10 times. The tools were never freshly sterilized, all they do is poor some acetone to sanitize it. Linda, a manicurist that works there even told me specifically that it would be inconvenient to sterilize tools after every job. They usually do it after 3 manicures or so. That's simply gross! Their attitude is also horrible. No customer service, especially Linda. She's extremely rude. Expected more from a nail place in beverly hills. read more

Hmmmm what is the nicest way to write this review..... If you are desperate and need a good quick mani/pedi then this is the place to go. The attitude of the people here isn't too nice and they always rush what they do. I'm a regular at my other salon so maybe I'm just bias but everytime I go here last minute I leave here not too happy. They are clean and have a parking lot so I gave them an extra star! read more

This is the one place I can go to, get a break from my kids and relax! It's my home away from home. I've been going there since they opened. I love my girls, Tina, Vikky, Stephanie, Samantha and May! It's so clean there and they honestly do the best manicure/pedicure/wax/massage! I love this place and will always be a loyal customer! I was even pregnant with my girl Tina. My go to pedicure place! Close to home and they carry a great selection of OPI colors. Sometimes a girl just needs "I'm not really a waitress" toes! Cheap, quick, and easy ($16 without any add-ons). I usually add a foot scrub to the base pedi for an extra $5. They might try to give you a massage ($1.00/per minute). I've tried a 5 minute leg massage - it was ok - not really worth it for me. I like that they don't have the spa pedicure chairs with the ceramic foot tubs - to me, these seem bacteria ridden. Foot fungus is no one's friend. Instead, they use a tub with a plastic liner. Seems clean overall. Extremely important when it comes to nail salons. They don't bug you about up-sells or annoy you about extra waxing services - even though they offer them. And they help you put your flip flops on after - nothing I hate more than ruining your toes after a pedi. I'd recommend to anyone needing regular quick and reliable nail salon trips. Even when they're busy, the wait isn't long - you'll have "Wooden shoe like to know" toes appropriate for the fall season in no time! read more

I get my nails done pretty often as a sister-day activity. My sis likes the fancy places, and we've explored quite a few nice spots! But, hands down (no pun intended), this is the place I always end up. The women are ALWAYS nice, accommodating, and professional. It's totally affordable, and they do a stellar job. I came here to get an eyebrow wax an lip wax the employees are very rude an not greeting at all they only want your money The worker took half my eye brows off and waxed all the way down to my chin causing more hair to grow I was very upset it took me 3 years to grow my eyebrows out and I told the worker I don't want to pay for my eyebrows she told me never to return I don't recommend this place at all!!!!!! read more

UPDATE: I decided to take Nail Paradise's offer for me to return and get an acrylic full set redone for free since I was very unhappy with the set I received a couple days ago. I was given to another nail tech, Tiffany, and I could not be happier with my new nails!!!! TIFFANY is amazing. She transformed my nails so beautifully. She was very detail oriented, made sure everything was even, and was very precise about the shape of my nails. Acrylic nails are very difficult to do and not every manicurist can do them. Tiffany described them as "a lot art". I absolutely loved that she said this because it reminded me that acrylic nails take time, skill, and vision. Tiffany is a true nail artist! Also, I really appreciate that she filed my nails as little as possible. Since I was I just had a set done two days ago, that much filing on your nails in such a short period of time could make them brittle and weak. She also took her time to paint the nails, which didn't happen on my previous visit. Tiffany is a great conversationalist and I really enjoyed my time there. I could tell she wanted me to be as satisfied as possible - and I am! I will definitely be coming back for fills and I am so glad I decided to give them a second chance. read more

So I was desperate for a pink and white fill and a pedicure last Sunday (mothers day) and could not find a local nail salon that was A. Open or B. Did both pink & white fills. I used yelp and came across Nail Paradise and I was really really excited to have found this place. So let's get down to the business of the review: Ambiance: It's plain to say the least. I think they have 1 picture hanging and it's pretty plain other than that. It's pretty crammed, I don't think you can turn around without bumping into another station. Services: Pedicure - I opted to get the foot scrub which made my pedi $20. They were to say the least super fast. I sat down at 3:30 and by 3:45 my pedicure had been finished. It was a great job and the girl doing my pedi was really friendly and thanked me more than once for trying Nail Paradise. Pink&White fill - I had to wait about 30 minutes after my pedi before she got started but she did a FANTASTIC job. It was a little slow for me but it was worth it. The girl was super friendly and thanked me again for trying Nail Paradise. She finished off the fill with gel which lasts so much longer. I can't remember exactly but it was a bit expensive I want to say around $40 for the pink and white fill but it was worth every cent! It's a great place to get in and get out in a timely manor. TRY IT and enjoy it they are really friendly and have great polishes. (OPI) CASH or CHECK only! read more

Never again type of place... im a guy so its not complicated to do a mani pedi, no nail polish or any of that stuff, straight cleaning... well they managed to screw that up. I ask them how.much and theycsay 27$, thencas she is doingy nails, she asks me if I want to buff it, I said sure, then "would you like me to rub off dead skin from feet" sureisn't that part of a pedi, then lady comes and gives meba shoulder massage. 2 mins in I tell her to stop because she sucked... get to the cash, 52$!!! Why? You got buff, dead skin removal and shoulder massage. I asked her why she didnt mention those prices when offering the service? I LOVE Nail Paradise!!!!!! I have been going there since 2005 and have never been disappointed. Tiffany is the best as she is meticulous with getting the acrylics perfect. I tried gel nails for a few months and then went back to my acrylics, I receive multiple compliments on how natural my nails look all the time. Vicky is fabulous for pedicures and Christine is one of the most talented artists as she "free-hands" all of her intricate designs, no stick on here!
