I got a nail fungus from this salon. They're also very territorial with their "clients." The last time I went I walked in and my "regular" worker was very upset with me. He kept asking why I didn't make an appointment with him and yelled at the guy working on my feet. He made sure I had his phone number so I can text him when I need an appointment. You don't harass your customers. Now you lost one. read more

My daughter made appointments for pedicures and a manicure. We were seated in the chairs and for the price minimal service was done for the pedicures. They forgot about the manicure. It took approximately 2 hours for them to complete all services after having to be reminded and the technician was upset when they were reminded about the manicure. The next morning I woke up and the polish on my toes was a complete mess. I went back and received attitude from the person working the desk. Too much attitude, not paying attention to what services scheduled. It was the first time and it will be the last time. Not a positive environment. read more

I had the unfortunate experience of getting nail fungus from this salon. I am so disappointed with how the management responded to my concerns. They ended up blaming it on my genetics and my personal hygiene, there was no apology or sense of responsibility for their damage of my nails. I let them know I was concerned with a nail technicians cleanliness after noticing during my previous appt her using tools from an unsanitary container and again they refused to listen to what I had to say. In the end I was offered a free nail treatment which I refused due to getting nail fungus from their salon. There prices might be better then some salons in the area BUT it is not worth the cost of damage. Their unprofessional and nonchalant response to my issue was very upsetting. I am waiting to see a dermatologist at the beginning of June to hopefully speed up the healing process. Shame on you @nails for not taking sanitation and the health of your clients nails seriously. read more

The 2 stars is for John, and John alone. I've gone to this place for years and years, and if you go here you already know that your experience is based on the nail tech you get. Even when I've had a bad experience, I come back because there are Some great and amazing workers here ! HOWEVER, John was absolutely rude and I haven't gone back since.. and this was around 10 months ago. He did a good job during my pedicure, not very nice, but fine. He asked me 4 times if I wanted acrylic for my nails, and I told him no, just gel. When it was time for the manicure, he was extremely annoyed that I only wanted gel.. even though I had told him already. He did the fastest job, scoffing at me and sighing the entire time. You know how the techs put lotion on your hands at some point ? I've had techs set timers for 5 mins, techs who do it for one min, however he didn't do it at all. That would be totally fine, however he never communicated with me. He told me to wash my hands, and I had no idea if I was done or the lotion was coming or what, so I sat down. He then proceeded to yell at me "go, you're done, you're done" over and over, while doing that shoo fly hand motion. I apologized and said I wasn't sure what to do next, and he responded with sighing and walking away. That was the whole exchange. I've loved this place for years, but I hope he sees this and changes his way. His co workers are wonderful, and it doesn't hurt to be kind or just not say anything. I hated being yelled at when I was completely kind the entire time. That's all. read more

I think they deleted my previous reviews but oh well, at least I have something good to say about this place after giving them another chance! I came in to get a new set of ombre acrylic nails. I think I've been to this salon at least 5 times to say the least, and the previous times have been so so. This time, they finally got it right and I am very happy of the results! I got a sparkly pink baby boomer design with short acrylic nails (which is not typical), and I love it! I'm actually a nail bitter, and from the picture below, you can barely tell! My nail technician's name was Tim and I think he did a really good job! It's pretty hard to do a baby boomer, especially on short nails, but he was very good and it was seamless. He will definitely be my go to guy! I was offered a free drink, so I chose a mimosa ( yes they do card). It was actually quite a big glass I couldn't finish it all. I have a few tiny corrections, but they don't bother me that much so I will let it go. One of my nails was glued on a little sideways, and my right pointer finger is a tiny bit too short for my liking but I think that's my own fault when I said yes when he was cutting the length. Terrible service! Terrible quality! Our family of 5 went in for manicures and pedicures. They left rough edges on our nails. They forgot to trim one toe nail on my mom. They left the hot wax in a bag on my daughter's feet for an hour instead of the normal 10 minutes because the nail tech kept getting calls on her cell phone and stepping into the back room to talk. The owner would not help when I asked that another employee finish my daughter's manicure/ pedicure. Most of the employees lacked experience. We will never return here. read more

I've been going to this location for years. Unfortunately, I will not return after yesterday's pedicure. I was badly cut by the nail technician when he was using the small scissors to remove dead skin from cuticles. I bled a lot and the pain was excruciating. The nail tech attempted to block my view of the cut by using his gloved hand as a visual barrier, and did not apologize for cutting me. The experience became a source of distress, not of relaxation. The salon also charged me full price after the incident. read more

Went to the one on Froom Ranch Way and I haven't been so pleased with my nails in a while, the guy with the pony tail (I'm sorry I didn't get you name) was very kind and kept asking if I like the shape he's the first one to get the shape I like completely right. I made and "appointment " for a time an hour later but that didn't matter bc it was busy when I went in and waited as if I didn't make one.... The communication between some of them is not great and they had to ask me at least 10 times what I was there for. After a pedicure that stained my legs green from the scrub and no massage on my feet I was brought back to wait for my acrylics. I was printed to a stainion that someone was still sitting in and as soon as she stood up I was ushered in. At least he was fast about doing them. I showed him a pic and we was able to cope it easily. There was a lot of bubbles on my nails and I went to Coachella so they all got filled with dirt and are black spots and I can't clean them. I see a good amount of separation at the tops so far so we will see if they even last two weeks. Idk if I would go back tbh. Update: It seems like Tim is the only technician that knows what's going on. First of all, the other male technician completely messed up what I asked for. I asked for a simple ombré French which I have done many times before at other nail salons. The technician forgot I wanted ombré midway through & decided to do this weird dip stuff instead. This looked absolutely horrible and unfortunately I hadn't noticed till I left the building. I ended up going back in and instead of having the next available technician help me, they made me wait for the SAME technician. I was frustrated because I had to be at work in an hour so I had him paint over then instead (another big mistake) This please is great! Don't be fooled by the bad reviews. I had a really good experience getting acrylic gel nails. Tim was my technician and he did such an amazing job! I had terrible experiences at other nail salons here and I didn't think to check this place out because of the reviews till a couple friends told me to check it out and now I don't think I can go back anywhere else. I do not recommend going here if you want to be fairly priced for your nails. I have been going here for years, and every time I've had to argue pricing because they try to overcharge. I just got charged an extra $10 for a cuticle cut, and $10 for my nails being long in length. I ended up paying $60 for a fill, when my friend just paid $60 for a brand new set. read more

Wow!!! First I went to the shop near Costco - a sign was up saying they were closed on Tuesdays. That was not posted online. So I went to the other location on Foothill. The pedicure was average though I requested a deluxe - no biggie. What was shocking was while my nails were drying all hell broke loose. I don't know what happened between two of the male employees but there was an extraordinary amount of screaming - so much so that the woman sitting next to me, grabbed her purse and ran out the door. Others were whispering about if we were safe or if they should leave. I began recording with my phone. After a few minutes things began settling down, and I gathered my belongings. When the male receptionist rang me up I was shocked to see I was being charged $112. He was sorry - it was his mistake. Third surprise was the online price of $45 for a deluxe pedicure was now $58 - and there is a fee for using a charge card. The receptionist said he was sorry the information online was incorrect but he wasn't the IT guy. Seriously?!? I told him they needed to get their $hit together and start running the business right. I heard they had gone downhill but I didn't realize it was this bad. It would be better for me to drive to another town for nail service than go through that again. read more

I've been going here for a while. Loved their pedis. Decided to try "dip" for your nails. I had them done on a Wednesday. By Friday my nails were chipping. By Saturday big chunks were coming off of my nails. I went in and showed them. I was told they would fix them. The young man who works at the register called the owner. They owner told them they wouldn't t fix them for free, but for a 25% off. I've spent a lot of money in there and i am a regular customer. I didn't expect that. I won't be back. Apparently, they don't understand what good customer service is. On a side note, I also had a pedi when I had the dip done. The lady doing them didn't even trim my toe nails. She gave me the shortest and one of the worst pedis I've ever had. I was letting that slide. Now they've lost a good customer. I'm sure I'll find a place that really appreciates loyal customers. read more

Came in for a full set black French coffin (get all the time in Oxnard) while visiting SLO. I was there for 3 hours they talked me in to doing pink hard gel to make them look more natural and stronger. They look white with a purple tinted and the black looks blue and foggy. Sent $100 dollars (also got a pedicure it was mediocre) and so not worth it. I will also now need to go ba k to my salon. And pay for them to be fixed. I will note that the left hand looks much better and they asked if I liked it and I did. But 3 hours in I was over it and had to leave for a meeting... I would never go back and not recommend it.
