Yes. This place rocks. It's perfect for a quick (quality) bite to eat and it is so good -- not to mention right in Downtown Bozeman. I think the meals are going to be as good as you make them seeing as you are responsible for some add ons. At first, the set up is quite confusing, but after going a time or two, you really get used to it. The atmosphere is great and the outdoor seating is so great in the summer. read more

Hands down my favorite reasonably priced go-to for quick take-out or dine in. In fact I ordered takeout every night this weekend (I really like it). However from this point on I will not go there when the manager Rob is on shift. He's horrible at customer service, if you have a food allergy, for example need gluten free noodles, he will not inform you if there is gluten in the sauce you've ordered, and he will nickel and dime you for things you don't order and then get in your face about it and accuse you of being wrong. The rest of the staff is great and laid back but this guy is a real piece of work. read more

This is what they call a 4 cheese Mac and cheese with meatballs. Came with no Meatballs (which I paid extra for) and purchased the combo, which says it comes with a pop and then advised when I got to the store for pickup it doesn't. False representation. We've heard a lot about Naked Noodle, so when we were driving through Bozeman we had to stop. There are so many items on the menu board that looked AMAZING, I think we'd have to eat there five days a week to even come close to tasting them all. What we ordered was absolutely fantastic! The only reason for three stars is that one of the cooks had a wad of chew in his lower lip (beyond gross), and the whole restaurant smelled like it had been mopped with a moldy mop. When walking into a restaurant I want to smell great food without an undertone of moldy & stinky floors ruining it. I'm sure they will fix those problems and get back their well-deserved five stars. read more

I love, love, love Naked Noodle! My favorite lunch place during the week. Very fast and not expensive so makes for a great work lunch. I am stuck on the Thai Green Curry with tofu as my all time favorite dish and being able to add toppings is a great touch! The food is consistently delicious and very filling. read more

We left feeling disappointed. Tried the macaroni and cheese, which had good flavor. And we tried the pad thai, and it had okay flavor but was way too packed with cilantro. The chicken in both dishes was processed, and tasted and felt canned. The salad dressing was horrible and ruined our side salad. I am on vacation to Yellowstone, stopped by Bozeman, and tried out this place based on other yelpers recommendation. Truly delicious food, a great concept that is one of a kind. One of the worst noodle places I've been to. Every sauce is watery soup even Mac n Cheese! STAY AWAY!

Overall a great restaurant. Unique dishes and usually very good with quick and friendly service. I have read reviews elsewhere which comment on the inconsistency of the food and I would have to agree. The place is staffed with young college kids, and while they're always nice and attentive, I would have to blame the 'inexperience' of the cooks as a major reason that the dishes can be hit and miss... My go-to dish is the Mac and cheese with beef, topped with peanuts, scallions, and fried spinach, with a hit of sriracha. Mix it all together and you will not be disappointed! I also recommend the monkeywrench, although it's a bit pricier than other menu items. The only thing I wouldn't get again is the gaucho. I gave it two tries and both times found it to be extremely bland, almost tasteless. I don't know if I just got unlucky each time, but it really leaves me questioning why this is their signature dish... While not the norm, I did have one very unpleasant experience when my order was somehow lost and I ended up waiting about a half hour for my food. The place was not busy, so the most annoying part was that none of the staff seemed to notice or care that I was sitting there waiting for my food. I finally spoke up and asked where my order was, and they were very apologetic and made my order up quickly, but it was still a big disappointment. Like I said, though, this type of thing is not the norm and I haven't had another experience like it since. (Side note) This is the main reason I really hate places that put the tip jar next to the register, as I don't see why I should tip before I've actually received my food or good service. That all being said, I very much enjoy this restaurant and keep going back for more. It's a small place, and can feel pretty cramped, but that's also why it seems to have such a friendly atmosphere. They have outdoor seeting in the summer (both out front and the back patio) which I love. The variety of menu items is great, as there is something almost anyone should find interesting and delicious. I've never had any of the salads, but have heard from friends and colleagues that they can be very good. I also look forward to trying the Zorba the Geek, as I've also heard that it's good, and the menu description seems very interesting to me. If you're on the fence at all, just give this place a shot. It's usually a good place for quick take-out, just as long as you avoid the peak,hours. It's got very diverse and unique menu, and I'm sure you'll find something you like! read more

Got the Tokyo bowl... Good but a bit spare on flavors. My dates pad Thai bowl was better, though both had very soupy broth. Ingredients all tasted fresh. The menu is pretty diverse, allowing you to keep coming back to try something different. Ambience is bright and playful, a little fast food feeling and a bit of the Bozeman laid back hippy vibe too. Though the loud rap music playing was a bit jarring, it is a joint in a college town. I felt sorry for a couple of seniors eating there, having to endure the soundtrack. read more

This establishment, much like La Parilla, has gone severely downhill over the last few years. The standard downtown less than a decade ago, the pasta dishes have gotten so watery you might mistake it for Chicken-Noodle soup or a similar dish. The place hasn't been cleaned since I first set foot in it nine years ago. The teenagers running the show are becoming more apathetic by the year; all too often they are out of toppings you may want. I love Naked Noodle... I go here probably once to twice a week. I mix it up between the Gaucho and the 4 cheese mac. Both are amazing. Also I highly recommend adding the fried spinach, they must fry it up with garlic because it's amazing. read more

The NN is great and a Go To casual place in Bozeman. The pasta is exceptional w/ many different options from Italian to Asian inspired. The space is small to medium size but pleasant enough. No beer and wine ... but no problem - I mostly go for lunch anyway. You'll like it! read more

As requested by Joe C. from Naked Noodle, I'm happy to expand upon my displeasure at Naked Noodle. I ordered the Pad Thai a few times, hoping each time I'd see better results. The noodles were mushy and the ingredients stale and inconsequential, with the exception of the pile of cilantro added on top as an attempt to compensate for the soupy muck that was passed off as Pad Thai peanut sauce. And here's the real problem, the quality would suggest a 5-6 dollar dish, however, at Naked Noodle you won't walk out having paid anything less than 10$. If I pay 10$ for a meal I expect fresh and flavorful ingredients prepared by a professional. Instead, Naked Noodle charges these prices while having (very nice) college kids slop together ingredients that have been sitting in plastic containers all day. I feel that the food is either hit or miss. Once I ordered the special or whatever and it was fantastic, once I ordered an item for carry out and it was missing half of what was listed on the menu. The food isn't too bad though, I guess it just depends on what you get. read more

These guys were fantastic 10+ years ago when they opened. Now, not so much. I got their "flagship" dish with scallops wrapped in prosciutto. It was seafood covered in cheese-water. About 75% water, 25% low-grade cheese. In lieu of posting a video online, showing about a pint of water draining from my dish, I emailed the manager. He promised to "send us something in the mail." That mail has not yet come, 3 weeks later. I guess at a place with no wait staff, where you stand in line for 10 minutes, and bus your own table, you hope for a fairly good meal for $15 bucks. Not so. Still, 3 stars, as the lunch special is good (half order of salad, and half order of pasta, for relatively cheap.) Their other location in Whitefish seems to have much better quality control. read more

We stopped in for lunch and it was fast and friendly service. It's also not expensive but that's where the goodness ends. I had one of their popular items, the gaucho. It was cold and lacking anything but a milky flavor. My hubs had the famed Zorba the Geek and said it was oily with no particular flavor. Maybe they have other items that are good. read more

We arrived about ten minutes before closing. It took a couple of minutes to get help at the counter. We were asked if the food was to go because they were closing. The patio chairs were also not available. We were not impressed with the customer service. The macaroni and cheese was pretty good although it wasn't very warm. The pad thai was yucky and the noodles were cold. The third dish was supposed to be teriyaki, but the noodles were tasteless. I wouldn't recommend this restaurant. If the staff isn't willing to stay one minute longer to prepare the food correctly and offer good service, they don't deserve my business read more

We have a company barbecue for about 60 employees once a year. We order up the burgers, brats, potato salad, napkins, paper plates, etc..., and then bring in the barbecue that one of our staff stands over the whole time cooking in mass production. This year a couple of our managers got together and asked if we could do something like pizzas so we did not have to go through the effort of planning everything. Instead, we landed at the Noodle. I called the manager, Joe, up and asked him what they could do. Within 10 minutes, we had a menu planned with a budget for under $400. We decided on pans of glass noodle salad, mac & cheese, spaghetti, and Pad Thai for the more spicy people. He said they'd bring serving utensils, paper plate, plastic silverware, and some toppings for the pasta. In the end, instead of having mediocre pizza or burgers, we ate delicious fresh food, they brought it to us, we did not have to hassle with anything including clean up for under $400. We even ended up with leftovers! The whole experience is the definition of a no-brainer. read more

We ordered 8 dishes and only 2 were prepared as stated. The Lo Mein didn't include the snow peas or baby corn and there was barely enough sauce to cover noodles. The guacho was so thick you need a knife to cut through the noodles/cheese sauce and they forgot the chips. Only the spaghetti and meatball dishes were prepared right and that's because its such a simple dish. I used to recommend this restaurant but after this experience, we'll steer clear. read more

Have eaten at NN several times the past year or two. Portions have gotten SMALLER yet the prices seem to have risen. I've got issues paying $12 for a small bowl of pasta, in a cafe with MINIMAL ambiance and ZERO table service. What an amazing concept for a restaurant. I've been eating here somewhat regularly for the last 5 years and have tried many of their dishes which are all very good. Portion sizes are great, food taste and presentation great, great brick wall atmosphere, great for the family, reasonably priced and great options for gluten free people. The only reason I can't rate 5 stars is cause my favorite meat there is the Korean BBQ beef which half the time it is so good and tasty and the other times it's tough like beef jerky and nearly inedible, not enough to keep me from coming back though, not even close. So, I ordered Naked Noodle from Cafe Courier the other night and it was a HUGE disaster. In fact, this was originally a one star review. However, Naked Noodle has been completely redeemed in my eyes, by Joe going several extra miles to find out what went wrong and why. He even called the cook at home to make sure that my meal had in fact been gluten free. Much appreciated. Two warnings: don't order through Cafe Courier, their toppings list online has some options that aren't actually available. Hence my initial rage. But it's not NN's fault, it's Cafe Courier's screwup. And also...be aware that they sometimes do run out of fried spinach, especially near closing time. :-( read more

Giving them 3 stars because the staff was friendly. However, I was not impressed with the food. It tasted like something I could make at home, nothing special. I had the lo mein and it was watery and the flavor was weird. It is possible I just ordered the wrong item on the menu, and their other options are better. This is a yummy, inexpensive lunch place. They are open until dinner, but have no wine or beer. The menu is creative and varied and the staff is really great. I love the four cheese sauce with chicken. Salads are great too. Good Bozeman choice for fast and easy. read more
