When I moved to Bozeman 4 years ago, this place was one of my favorites. However, in the past year or so, I've tried to go in around 4 times, and each time have left straight away. Naked Noodle is basically a local version of Noodles & Co, except that it is much better. Their fettucine alfredo is totally awesome!

I get cravings for their Presto Pasta, with cilantro instead of basil. SO GOOD. The staff is always friendly, and helpful with suggestions. Obviously, they eat from the menu. Love that they have outdoor seating. The layout is confusing, with the bus-it-yourself station in the back. If there is obvious signage leading the way, we missed it on our first visit. I don't mind busing, but often our table is smeary from previous diners, so I'm glad I carry packets of Wet Wipes and can clean it off. Everything I've had to eat here has been exceptional, with one consistent caveat: way too much sauce. I've often had to spoon liquid out of my bowl to make the dish edible (the Zorba the Greek comes to mind). It certainly isn't keeping me away, I just request less. I was going to ding a star for the annoyances, but dang...that Presto Pasta is amazing and worthy of ten. read more

I had ordered Tokyo Hot... Noodles. I was not so happy about it coz the noodles were very dry...the chicken broth was too watery and ran towards a dip. The other thing I did not like is they have ingredients mentioned on the menu boards but when the order is ready it almost has no toppings and they ask you to pick any three toppings of your choice that too free. First and last time. This is overpriced fast food. The quantity of the dish for the price is pretty pathetic. The menu stated Daily's Peppered Bacon was added to the dish. The food at the Naked Noodle seems to be fairly hit and miss. Some nights when I eat there (usually after a night at the bars) the food seems to be delicious. However, other times I have gone in the orders have been mixed up or the staff has been less than friendly. All in all, it's worth a shot. read more

Wow... The food here is gross! My husband got the lo mein, and it was swimming in some sort of broth, but was completely flavorless. I got the Mac n cheese, and it too was swimming in some sort of cheese sauce (that just collected at the bottom, but didn't really cover the noodles) and it was sooo bland! Absolutely no flavor! A bowl of top ramen would've tasted better and been a hell of a lot cheaper! When will noodles and company come to bozeman so we can get some good noodles??? read more

Been here several times thinking maybe I just got a bad dish but every time I been disappointed, overpriced noodles thrown together what seems to be randomly with ingredients that don't mix well also they give you very small meat portions. My girl friend order a 11$ Korea salad that was very bland even the salad dressing in which they gave her only one small cup for a huge bowl didn't help much. I used to really love the Naked Noodle - I'm a big believer in pasta as a whole - but it seems like they've been in a pretty solid decline the past couple years. Pretty much every time I've been in recently, something has made me reconsider going back. Examples: - Last month some time I ordered a Zorba the Geek (one of their best, by the way) and when I got it home, I saw that they'd forgotten the feta cheese and had only given me about two olives. This dish has been on the menu for years now, so it's not like these ingredients are a new thing. - The next time I was in, when the cook was adding my extra toppings to my dish (I think I was having the lo mein), he just grabbed them out of the containers with his bare hands, which he had just been rubbing on his grubby apron. Not just the dry ingredients, either, this included the crushed tomatoes I asked for. I'm not a huge germaphobe, but even I thought that was weird and kind of gross. - There is absolutely no consistency in a lot of their dishes. The sesame lo mein is (was) my go-to, but they must have changed the recipe or stopped caring, because half the time I get it now it's grossly sweet, and the other half it's mostly water. Also, a word to the wise: don't order their "pesto" dish. Whereas normal pesto is a flavorful sauce made with basil and pine nuts, their version is just gravelly peanut pieces in a ton of oil. As far as I can tell, it's literally just poorly blended peanuts, cilantro, and olive oil. It tastes like nothing and has a really nasty grainy texture. Alright noodle shop if you are looking for non traditional fettuccini Alfredo under the guise of authenticity I ordered the fettuccine Alfredo expecting a lovely fettuccini sauce but instead it was marred with the addition of peas adding a sweetness to the dish that was entirely unnecessary. It would have been an admissible fault if the had taken the foresight to balance the sweetness by adding just a couple extra pinches of salt. To find out the fettuccini has peas you have to check the ingredient list which is odd considering the dish only has 5 titular ingredients Heavy Cream, butter, salt , Parmesan and the noodles themselves I would have just enjoyed a side note so I could have asked to not cook them with peas so the dish wasn't utterly ruined before I walked out the door with my order. Other than that you may find exactly what you need here if that may be an overly green pasta sauce. Not worth the price read more

One of the best restaurant experiences I've had in a while. They have an extensive menu with plenty of vegetarian choices. I'm not a vegetarian but do enjoy forgoing meat when possible. My boyfriend and I ended up getting three dishes just so we could have guaranteed left overs! The portions are large so we went home with three to go boxes of excellent food. Yum yum yum! By far my favorite lunch spot in town. I always get the carbonara. While it's not on the menu board, they used to run it as a special all the time, and will still prepare it for you. We had the pad Thai and the Alfredo with chicken. The pad Thai was flavorless and small. I got it with seafood. There were 2 Small shrimp and 2 small scallops (which were overlooked and dry) in the whole dish. The Alfredo had 4 small pieces of chicken and was flavorless also. It was ordered with extra Parmesan, which was a handful of Parmesan thrown on top that never melted. The girl behind the counter never got off her stool once. She was less than helpful.
