It's a decent walk from the parking lot (if you have mobility issues) to what is a very unassuming building and entrance. Upon entry, the restaurant is modern and lively, with a typical, boisterous, goofy teenage staff lineup. The service was fast, accurate and polite. The pizza was magnificent. The sauce was spot on; could have used a bit more cheese and the crust was a tiny bit thick, but all in all, it was superb. I will definitely return. read more

I really wanted to love this place. As soon as we walked in the aroma of all the different pizzas definitely made you believe this was going to be an amazing experience. As soon as we walked in we put our name in and the hostess assured us only a 15 minute wait (it ended up being about 35-40 minutes). While we were waiting more customers rolled in and made their waiting area extremely tight and uncomfortable. I'm sure there was a fire code violation with how many people were packed in such a small space. Anyways our name was finally called and because "Brian" was such a common name we had to explain that we were the first "Brian" that came in and we were next which was a totally awkward experience. Now onto the pizza, I saw so many tips and reviews to try their homemade meatballs so I definitely wanted to try their meatball pizza. Because you know you'd assume they would use their famous house made meatballs in their "meatball" pizza. Now the crust was amazing- crispy, thin and had a nice flavor. BUT something was seriously off with that meatball pizza. If that really was their famous homemade meatballs then they need to rethink their recipe. I was not a fan. We also had their baked potato pizza. That one was better but not amazing. I liked how the potato was like mashed potatoes on top but something was off too. It almost tasted like a chemical was on it but I don't know something was off. It's a serious shame because I had such high expectations for this place because of the great reviews. It could've been an off day.. I mean it was seriously crazy busy! I heard the meatball plate is great so maybe if we were ever in the area again I'd try that or a grinder instead of their pizza. Definitely a lot of potential with this place. Personally I'd rather go to Pepe's pizza or another local small business. For a little hole in the wall pizza joint this place was pretty tasty! We were seated very promptly and the waitress was extremely attentive. We were that one party nobody really wants to serve because we had 7 people and only 2 of us were eating so THANK YOU! We ordered the garlic cheese bread (which honestly is the size of a small pizza) and two slices of pizza. The pizza dough itself was great. It was thing crust and cooked just crispy enough so that you can cut the pizza and eat it with a fork and knife. My boyfriend really loved the sauce on the pizza. We had a slice of the bbq chicken pizza and sausage pizza. Both were very good. I highly recommend the garlic cheese bread for anybody that loves cheese! I have been here many times. The food has always been good however last night was the exception. The service was very poor. The server was young and felt like she could hardly stop at our table for anything. She would forget to bring things we asked for and didn't seem interested. I had The Tuscan salad. It sounds so yummy on the menu but honestly it was lackluster. I added grilled chicken and the chicken was probably frozen from a bag when the seller came out the chicken head steam rising from it against the cold salad. The toppings were sparse and the salad was just OK, at best. My friend had the tuna grinder which didn't come with anything but the grinder. She said the taste was average. The place was noisy with lots of screaming children, I don't know that I'll return. It's surprising that this is owned by the same owners as fork and fire as that's run so well. read more

I don't know where to start. I guess I'll start with the over pricing of their product. I ordered a large pizza with half pep and onions, the other half ham. Gluten free SMALL ham and mushroom (which cost just as much as the large.) 20 wings (4)Meatball appetizer.... For $80 dollars. Does this seem normal. Why am I baffled that this was $20 bucks away from a $100 dollar meal. This is another reason why I'm baffled. The pizza was good. Wasn't horrible but wasn't the best pizza that I have had Or close to it but it wasn't bad. What bothered me was the wings. The first thing about the wings that I first thought was that they could have used a couple of more minutes in the oven. A bit more cooked would have been nice. The BBQ sauce tasted generic. Out of a bottle type of sauce. Definitely not house made. What bothered me more and I couldn't believe it was the fact that there was a FEATHER... two actually and my wife was the one that found it. I shrugged it off and told her that can't be a feather. Looked closer and yup, it was a feather. Can you find the shrimp in the Shrimp Special pizza? I counted. There were 8 shrimp and the small capers were spotty. For the area, this is probably one of the better pizzas that you can get. The one thing that I love about it is how flavorful it is. SECONDLY, we ordered and PAID for DOUBLE MEAT and received an extremely sparsely prepared Naples Special and a White Clam pizza. The icing on the cake was the belligerent cashier who took my money but was adamant for 10 minutes prior that I never placed my order. Our first time here, and we were very impressed. Beautiful interior with dark wood paneling and booths. Nice open area up front with half a dozen mouth watering pies on display. Our server was attentive and pleasant, and our house salad and Tomato-Basil pizza came out pretty fast. The salad was excellent -cold and fresh with no cheese - just the way we asked for it. It was just $6 and was plenty to share. But oh my - was the pizza good! When I moved to the Farmington Valley close to 30 years ago, there was a dearth of good quality thin crust pizza around here. I kid you not -I used to bring home pizza from the defunct Papa Ginos at Bishops Corner in West Hartford because it was one of the better types and not the thick crusted Greek pizza that was all the rage at the time. Now, of course, there is quality pizza all over my area, but in my book Naples has joined Little City, Luna, and First and Last as top notch near-by choices. Did our pizza have a tasty thin crust? Absolutely. Was the combination of fresh sliced tomatoes, fresh cheese, excellent sauce, and fresh basil an intoxicating combo? Yes ! Was this a very enjoyable lunch with nice ambience, pleasant service, and outstanding food? Yes again! Naples was a terrific stop for us, one which we will surely repeat. read more

What happened to Naples? At one time they simply had the best thin crust pizza around. I've been to the restaurant dozens of times over the past 10 years. However; the last two times we went, left upset, discouraged, and hungry. I was at this restaurant yesterday. We ordered the Eggplant Fries and they were very good. We then ordered three pizza's: A 'Fresh Clam', the 'Arugula and Prosciutto', and a gluten-free pizza with sausage, mozzarella, and olives. The fresh clam was so incredibly thin I felt like I was eating a quesadilla shell. Because it was so thin, it was also saturated from the olive oil. Honestly, I don't even know how they had the nerve to serve this. The gluten-free pizza was very undercooked, and we sent it back to have it put into the oven again. It came back to us, still raw on the inside, but burnt on the outside. The 'Arugula and Prosciutto' was just ok. Also a bit undercooked, but we dealt with it. I think Naples just lost a long time customer. They need someone doing quality control on everything that is going out. I would be embarrassed if I served pizza's this bad. read more

Favorite pizza to get here is red with carmelized onions, ricotta, and then either sausage or bacon. It comes out perfect every time. This combo makes the pie creamy, salty, and savory and really addicting. The new online ordering is pretty easy to use as long as you remember that you can't call them up anymore which I always tend to forget. Spotted this joint while driving in Farmington last week... It had so many praises had to come and check out for my self what the fuss was all about... First of all the place was packed though they had both indoor and outdoor seating... And was also pouring in with takeout orders .... The weather was just perfect to sit outside (reminded me much of my hometown... pleasant and mild with a hint of breeze)... Which ofcourse elevated our dining experience. We ordered the Neapolitan pizza with additional toppings of pineapple, jalapeño n olives.... Less did I know the jalapeños were fresh and not pickled .... One bite in and I was sweating through my nose and forehead (beware)... The waitress was sweet enough to suggest to make us another one but we didn't mind so she brought some blue cheese dip instead to soothen the heat...which helped a lot the best part of the pizza obviously the crust thin and crunchy... I just couldn't stop eating. A large is good to share by 2-3 ppl. They also have sandwiches, pasta, wings....but I suggest you eat only the pizza and nothing else.... They also have a selection of wine and beer on draft. All in all loved it and will return again for more pizza. read more

I was excited to see a place called naples- as someone whose been to Italy for half a year I've been looking for a place that can make a good pizza similar to the quality that real native Italians do. Food: I received the chicken wings and the Naples special pizza with no bacon and no olives. The pizza was a super thin crust and the tomato sauce was kind of watery. The toppings were well cooked, and the cheese seemed to be of good quality. Sadly, tomato sauce is what makes a pizza a pizza- and the sauce was lacking in flavor and viscosity. Also the fact that the sauce was watery made the crust super flimsy, 6/10. Maybe it's the kind of pizza I got maybe not. The pizza is nothing compared to napoli pizza. The wings went BACKKKKK, they were so well made- they had a slight crisp to them and were super juicy!!! 5/5. Price: The prices were fair! The pizza we got was 22 and the wings were 8.--. the prices you'd usually expect from a pizza place. Employees: the employees were super kind and helpful! Great pizza! Still my favorite non-New Haven pizza place in CT. Their pizzas are consistently delicious and they also have a good beer list if you choose to eat in v. doing takeout. We've also gotten their wings before and were not disappointed! Is it weird that the my least favorite part about Naples is the parking lot?
