We have ordered from Napolis pretty consistently over the last year. In the last 4 months every time we place an order at least one meal in our order is wrong. I asked them to confirm what I'm asking for they give me back exactly what I say to them and Asher me there's no problem. That being said again tonight I placed an order my husband went to pick it up and his order was wrong! This is not okay if your children answering the phone or whoever can't get it right the cooked can't read what's written or whatever something needs to change. And when you call and ask for the manager and get told he's busy that's not okay either. Won't eat there again nor will I choose one of the other Napolis whether they're related or not read more

This place was great and I've never had a bad experience there. It's very hard to find authentic Italian food in Texas most of it is just red sauce and meat whereas here you have a great selection that will satisfy most palettes. I'm a firm believer that if you can't make Alfredo sauce properly you shouldn't be called an Italian restaurant. The Florentine is soooo goood. I'm a meat eater but between the Florentine and the Meat Lover's pizza, Florentine wins hands down.. it's full of flavor ( just the right amount of tanginess that keeps you wanting more), you can taste the cheese in every bite. The artichoke was even seasoned. What a wonderful pizza!! I bought the Florentine in a large and also the Meat Lover's in a large for take out. About $32 for both, with tax. But they are huggee. I will order and try other things on the menu, next time. If their pizza go hard, than I'm sure all the other menu items will be just as good. A young lady greeted me as I entered and took my take out to the cashier area, kinda in the back of the restaurant. The food was actually gross. A tragic attempt at authenticity. The service was worse, I was served with clear prejudice and contempt for no justifiable reason. Will not be returning and hope hope that this review serves as a helpful advisory to those who have the sad idea that this place is okay for a family to have a comfortable meal. This neighborhood restaurant is locally owned and the food is amazing! They've got generous portions and the prices are excellent. It's a BYOB restaurant so you can bring your own bottle of wine to enjoy with your excellent meal. The staff is fabulous and friendly and remembers who you are. The manicotti is to die for and totally worth the calories. Once you dine here, Napolis will become your new favorite Rowlett restaurant! There auld be a 3.5, but there's not so I gave a 3. Pizza was very good. The sauce was rich and not too sweet, the toppings were fresh and dill of flavor. Cons: once the pizza was no longer piping hot it came off in large chunks when I took a bite. Also... how you not going to serve beer or wine at an Italian restaurant? The fried mushrooms were meh. Nothing special there. I was going they had more rich Italian appetizers like a stuffed and baked mushroom dish. We get to-go from here at least twice a month since we live down the street. I've never had anything I didn't like off the menu and their prices are fantastic! The building itself is pretty gross, they desperately need new floors and to renovate the bathrooms, but if you're just looking for some good cheap food this place is a total win! Napoli's is our family's favorite when it comes to authentic Italian food. We've been going to this establishment since it open in Rowlett and have never been disappointed. Having a family oriented restaurant in Rowlett is rare since most of the places are large fast food chains. This place is like eating with your family! You're welcomed every time and the owners take the time to greet you and make you feel at home. The menu is simple, and the food is awesome. I think I've tried every dish on the menu over the time we've been coming here. You can't beat the experience at Napoli's and highly recommend this place if you get tired of eating fast food in Rowlett. read more

Don't get me wrong I love the food here, we walked in today asking for a lasagna with just cheese and the waiter rudely replied "we only have meat you can have that or get something else." I understand sometimes restaurants can't accommodate the menu due to making the lasagna in bulk but he could've been less rude and we would've totally understood and ordered something else. read more

LOVE this place! We only go about once a month or so, but the manager knows us very well... We don't even have to take the menu, he knows what we want every time - all the way from our drinks to the appetizer to the salad and even our dinner. We get the same thing every time. The service is fast and efficient & the manager is really nice. The garlic twisted bread appetizer is fresh, warm and delicious. We fell in love with the Chicken Calibrise years ago & it's not on the menu anymore, but they make it for us anyway. The red sauce on it is amazing and they are not at all stingy with the artichoke chunks. The atmosphere is great, the service is great & the food is great - so of course, we give it 5 stars! Going downhill? I'm not sure what is going on but the experience I just had was horrific. I was greeted by an employee who appeared to be unhappy and disgruntled. That same employee was our server and did the absolute minimum to interact with us, which made us feel like we were a bother. After reflecting on this employee's behavior, I cannot blame her; rather, it is likely the employer's fault because it seemed like he was more bothered by her job than us - it was empty on a Friday night around dinner time and servers work on tips. When we ordered the calamari appetizer, the calamari was rock hard and the consistency was like chewy styrofoam. Also, the marinara that accompanied the appetizer came in a container that was significantly chipped from the edge and made sure to sift through the marinara to ensure I wasn't ingesting small ceramic chips - that is a liability. At that point, we just had it and asked to pay for our drinks and leave. The manager was called and he appeared unphased and unconcerned with the issues I pointed out. In fact, he appeared upset at us for grabbing my fork and tapping on the calamari to show how hard and inedible it was. Anyways, we left and likely won't be back. I'll probably just try the new Italian restaurant down the street. read more

I have visited this particular restaurant several times and I have always been happy until this visit. I walked in to pick up my order and NOBODY had a mask or gloves on. The chef walked over and answered a phone call and then went right back to work without sanitizing or washing his hands. Don't bother spending money on a salad. They will give you a small bowl with lettuce and parmesan sprinkled on the top. I will NEVER return or do business with this establishment because they are not taking the safety of patrons seriously during a global pandemic. read more

Ordered for the first time. My order was to go. I ordered the lobster ravioli, spaghetti and meat sauce, Italian sausage pizza by the slice, cheese pizza by the slice and extra rolls. The food is ok. Nothing to write home about. I paid $13.95 for "lobster" ravioli and received what looked like 4 cheese raviolis. It didn't taste of chopped lobster not could I find a single piece of lobster anywhere in the dish. The spaghetti was ok, but not anything I couldn't make out of a jar at home. The garlic bread was not impressive but, edible. The pizza was horrible. It was something I would order at a bowling ally. The sausage slice had lots of sausage, but no part of the pizza was tasty. I gave 2 stars because of the lack of lobster in my $14 raviolis (although it was good for cheese ravioli) and the unremarkable taste for everything else. The service was good. It was ready when they said it would be and I was served promptly. I will not be back based on the value and taste of the food I received for what I paid was not comparable. read more

Nothing like a long wait for a pizza with long hairs in it. Take a bite of the pizza and find hair between the cheese and sauce. Called the store placed on hold after being passed to various people then we were told the cook is bald so it can't be from him. When picking up the order, the same bald head foreigner with an accent who had answered the phone earlier was aloof and didn't really give the demeanor of someone who wanted to please the customer that is giving the restaurant its business. No Hi, Thank You, etc. As far as the food goes, typical mass produced cheap but high priced "Italian American" fare. Garlic bread was soggy and so was the lasagna. The salad was fine, but how can you mess up lettuce? Maybe the people in Rowlett are fooled by whatever this place serves up but this restaurant wouldn't last three months in Addison, Uptown, or the Shops at Legacy. read more

This place is so good! We just catered my daughter's first birthday party from Napoli's and they did such a wonderful job! The food was delicious and the portions are so large. The Ziti was very tasty, the sauce on it was delicious! We also ordered fettuccine Alfredo and it was loaded with chicken and the sauce was the right amount of salt and garlic. Also got many different appetizers including the fried mushrooms! Yum! Let them cater your next event and just put your feet up! They gave us so much extra sauce and garlic bread and dressing that I'm saving for when I make pasta at home. Love this place! read more

Napoli's has become my wife and I's favorite place over the last year. It reminds me of the sitcom (Cheers) where everybody knows you're name. It's very laid back, you can enjoy the beverage of choice (BYOB) without feeling rushed. It's hard to pick a favorite dish but if you like shrimp dishes they are good size and very tasty. Johnny (the manager) always makes sure you're well taking care of. and if you get a chance to meet the owner and his "CRAZY" wife you'll keep coming back.
