I recently had a catalytic converter shield installed at Nasseri Auto Tech. David did the research as to which shield would be best for my 2013 Toyota Prius and we decided that the MillerCAT was the best. Once the shield arrived David scheduled a convenient time for me to drop off my car. I have to drive to multiple locations for work so David took me to Hertz and got me a special rate for the car rental which was awesome. I completed my work appointments in the rental car and then David called me to let me know the car was ready. I had David change the oil and check my car for any other services that may be needed. When the car was ready David let me know and I just returned to his shop and left the rental car their for Hertz to pick up. So easy! It was so convenient to work with Nasseri Auto Tech and the did a great job! I'd highly recommend using David and his team for installing a CAT guard and all other auto repair work. Mr. Nasseri is the BEST! He was very knowledgeable about my 2011 BMW 550i. East Bay BMW had several repairs that they should have made prior to my engine going out. I was referred to Mr. Nasseri by my long time neighbor because BMW was going to charge me $20k to replace my engine. I couldn't pay that, but I loved my car. I took it to him and he told me exactly what was wrong and what should have been done to prevent the issues. As soon as I could make my first payment he ordered me a brand new engine. His personalization, attention to detail and customer service was excellent! From the time he ordered my engine to the day I picked up my car, he kept me informed by sending pictures and email updates of every stage and the time frames. Most recently I was so unhappy, I was ready to trade the car for anything but another BMW. Before doing so, however, I needed an oil change, a wheel refinished, and a few minor dents fixed. David thoroughly checked out my car and gave me a free inspection and explained to me in-depth whats wrong and showed me exactly what the problem areas were. Beside that there turned out to be quite a few things wrong with my car, David took the time to show me and explain the parts and functions as well as the causes of why there is certain things going bad or wrong with my car; and how to prevent future problems. I was having transmission issues and I took my car here because a friend recommended me to Dave. He is very knowledgeable and professional. He evaluated my car and did all the paperwork with the warranty company to replace my transmission. He is very fair and took the time to go over my car to find other issues that I needed to keep an eye on. Something to keep in mind is the warranty may not cover certain items that need to be replaced when doing a large amount of work. It is just the nature of the warranty companies. Dave suggested that I replaced some gaskets that the warranty company said thy would not cover, so I had him replace those as well. He is a professional and I wouldn't second guess his opinion. An honest mechanic is an oxymoron. But with David, I feel this is finally possible. He may take a bit longer than some other spots, but well worth it. He puts great detail and checks everything out with reasonable recommendations. The big bonus is my car is detailed everytime I get it serviced, including vacuum, wash, engine clean, leather treatment and buffering of minor scratches at no cost. This place was amazing! I don't didn't know what was going on with my car it would have a hard time starting up. I went to another mechanic, the other mechanic told me it was my starter, i paid for a new starter and still had the same problem. When I went back to the other mechanic, he wanted me to fix some other stuff, i reclined. Someone told me to go to Nasseri Auto Tech, David was very honest and told me ALL I NEEDED WAS A NEW BATTERY! This is a terrible place!!! They overcharge you for parts (even more than the dealer) and scam you on the labor hours- saying it takes them an hour to give an oil change!!! It completely surprised me since there were such high reviews on Yelp (which is why I went to them), but it was too good to be true. Most of these reviews are based on simple oil change and smog checks. If you have true mechanical problems with your car- DO NOT TAKE YOUR CAR HERE unless you plan on getting scammed and paying more than the dealership!!!! read more

David really knows his stuff. Brought in my 2011 Pilot and he took care of my problems for about half of what the dealership wanted. He also pointed out a few things that I might want to take care of down the road. No pressure, no un-needed extras just good work and a few good suggestions. I have been bringing my Highlander here for years. The good thing is it is usually just once a year, but right now I am on a bad streak. My radiator cracked about 4 weeks ago. Took it in and had it back the same day with a new radiator and water pump for a pretty fair price. Took it in today for hopefully just a battery replacement and 150,000 mile tuneup.
