Food was decent, moreso ok. It really depended on what you ordered. The monte cristo was huge and tasty according to the person who ordered it. Another said the steak salad was delicious. It was Expensive in some areas as a side of Brussels sprouts was $7. Was kind of a letdown on the chicken wrap I received. Was expecting more flavor but I had to dip it in ketchup and mustard to really find anything palatable. My fries seemed old, squishy and not the most warm. Our waitress was also a bit of a letdown. I would say her name but that would require her to tell us what it was. The selection of draft beers were not that great in our groups opinion. One in our party asked if they carried any sours and the waitress very rudely and quickly said "no". We were all surprised by her quick and not so kind response that we all thought about leaving if it meant that's the kind of service we'd receive. I was going to order a beer but by the time I decided, she wasn't around and our food had already come out. Really cool place for some local beer and really good pub food. Service was on par and the inside had a wood feel. The beers they brew were limited and no IPA on deck so beer doesn't get a full 5 stars from me. Food was really good. The chicken served in a half pineapple was the highlight. It pains me to post this. We had been here before and had great food over a year ago, I'm hoping reading other reviews that it was a fluke night. We were seated and it took a long time just to have someone come ask what we wanted to drink. It wasn't busy. We got our drinks and ordered appetizers. We got the "say what" which is the fried deviled eggs. They were so over cooked, the egg whites were hard rubbery. The flavor was great along with the bacon jam but the white of the egg was peeling in layers of rubber. The mushrooms were ok. We ordered what we thought was easy food. Salmon and burgers. Our burgers sat in the window waiting for well over 30 minutes. It looked like they prepare a lot of one type of food at a time and then move to another and do the same. Other tables were getting seated, getting food and leaving and we still didnt have food. We heard the frustration in the kitchen and then we were told the salmon was dropped and it was the last one so they were waiting on more to defrost. Meanwhile they were grabbing the hamburgers and fries/chips to bring us that had now been sitting there even longer. We cancelled the salmon and did not want the hamburgers that had been sitting for that long. The service was nice and I felt bad but they were very kind and said we didn't need to pay for the appetizers. She was very nice it just wasn't our night there. I hope the staff had a better night. Had the food not been sitting there waiting the whole time which was well over 30 minutes we probably would have stayed. The other reviews seem like we caught a bad night. Came up for a concert and needed dinner. The reviews were mostly good so we drove over. We were seated promptly. We chose inside seats but outside was available too. Our server, Melissa, came over to get our drink order in the appropriate amount of time. We then ordered the deep fried deviled eggs and cheese curds. I got a burger with fried green tomatoes, husband got the ahi. The apps were really good! We were unsure about the eggs but they were good. The bacon jam didn't hurt! It took a while for my husband's beer. When our meals came they looked good. Husband liked his tuna, for sure. My burger was a different story. I cut it in half and had to try hard to cut through the tomato. The slice was thin and it had been breaded and deep fried. No flavor left. The burger was supposed to be medium but it was well done. I only ate the top bun because both sides made the sandwich too dry. The fries are frozen, nothing special. I was going to give this place 4 stars but then it took so long to get a second beer that I had already paid the check before it came. Also there is a 3% fee to use a card. Who carries cash?? We tried the blackened shrimp pasta, side salad, burger, pineapple chicken and rice bowl, and the kids Mac & cheese. Then had the whiskey salted Carmel cheesecake. Everything was phenomenal. You can tell the pasta sauces are homemade. The ranch is homemade. The burgers are juicy and flavorful and the cheesecake was one of the best that flavor I've had. I'd highly recommend this place. We didn't know what to expect and at first thought the prices seemed a bit high on everything, after tasting it all we feel it's worth it though. We were driving through the area and decided on Native Brews and are so happy we did! Right away we were greeted with a very sweet hostess. Our server was attentive and would bring refills even before we thought to ask. The food was very tasty, so much so that we didn't even get to take a picture before digging in. The portions are big! Along with the tasty entrees, we recommend the nachos, the side of tater tots and the candied bacon that comes with the fried deviled eggs. My family/friends visit Tennessee every year and have been coming to Native Brews Tap And Grill for the past 6 years or so now. It's usual a staple stopping spot for us. Slowly started going downhill about 2 years ago but the staff was always pretty decent and it was a routinely stop. Just went by again today and a woman named Molly was outrageously rude. There were 13 in my party and we said we didn't mind to wait of course for them to just clean off a table (they only had 2 tables). She told us to go outside and wait. When we asked if we could wait inside instead, she said "no", if we didn't like it she "didn't care" and that Native Brews didn't need our service so we could just "leave". We have kids in our group who needed to use the restroom before we decided to leave and Molly told us the kids couldn't use the restroom since we weren't customers. I'm not one to normally complain but was definitely very disappointed and shocked by this. Will not be coming back anymore and do not recommend. We ended up eating at Wise Guys Wings and Pizza no more than a minute away. Good pasta, burgers, wings and pizza of course and more. read more

The good first. The place restaurant and food gets five stars.The place has an open air vibe which is really nice. The food looked amazing and tastes absolutely delicious. A friend ordered riblettes and they were delicious. Now the bad. The hostess Molly was absolutely terrible. She was rude, abrasive, and didn't want to answer any of our questions. She spoke to us in the demeaning manner. I don't know if it was because we were black or we were dressed in our motorcycle gear or if it was a group of black men she didn't like. Either way none of us like her attitude. Someone needs to teach Molly some manners or better yet get rid of her. A hostess is the first person you meet in a restaurant and the way that person acts represents the vibe of the restaurant. The way she greeted us I would have let and ate somewhere else but we couldn't. We were waiting for more people to show up. So happy we found this gem on our road trip! The giant pretzel was so warm and delicious. Didn't event need the dipping sauces but they were a treat as well. I had the BBQ chicken salad and it was super tasty with a bit of a kick. My boyfriend had the raviolis and enjoyed them as well.
