A lot of house-made ingredients (like the curry, Thai and BBQ sauce) make each burrito great.

Similar to Chipotle, but different flavors. I did the build your own burrito, the meat was seasoned perfectly. Not too bad of prices either.

Best burritos ever!!! It can get a little noisy when they host live bands, so we always get everything to go.

Excellent service, food, prices. Huge burritos with so much flavor. It's refreshing to find actual delicious vegan options. Amazing Baby Bar in the back with fresh squeezed juice for mixers. They had local/regional bands playing from 10-12, it was everything we were looking for all wrapped in a burrito. Good place for old punks. read more

I love yelp and love burritos. This place was such a disappointment on both counts!!! I'm not sure how this place has 4 stars overall. Maybe we came on a bad day?! We got the Thai burrito with chicken, the BBQ's burrito with steak, a bean and cheese burrito, nachos and a kid quesadilla (big group). The only edible food was the nachos. Even the quesadilla was so overdone it was brown and crispy. The tortillas on the burritos were triple steamed and turned out very rubbery. The rice was mushy, beans blah, veggies were decent. The peanut sauce in the Thai burrito was very sweet :(. Service was good. Again, maybe a rough day on the ingredients, they looked a bit old ... Great concept but the execution has lots of room for improvement!! read more

As an Insurance Agent building my own business I notice good and bad business owners and businesses. This business needs to shape up or I am confident it will not stand the test of time. I went to check out Neato Burrito upon suggestion. My younger brother was pleased with his burrito, but got sick after. My burrito was a poorly put together curry burrito. Maybe just not a good combination? I noticed while ordering that there was a picture of the marriage supper of the lamb. Surprisingly Jesus had horns in the picture. Not sure if it was vandalism or not I told one of the workers there. Then I noticed after getting some hot sauce to maybe make the taste improve with my burrito that there were two depictions of Jesus. One a white long haired Jesus which by the way isn't in the Bible. Most people normally get that wrong ignorantly, so be it. But next to it was much more ignorant was a black Jesus. As a religious individual knowing that Jesus was a Jew I found this sacrilegious. When I approached the owner it got worse. I respectfully asked if he was the manager and he said defensively that depends. I explained that we were thankful for the burritos (mentally I wasn't sure if it was their preparation or my taste buds and my brother was pleased at the time). Then after he relaxed I told him that his marriage supper of the lamb had Jesus with horns. To which he shrugged his shoulders. I then suggested fixing it or taking it down as it may be found offensive. Which he blew off. And then I asked if he had a picture of black Jesus. He said yes. I said you know Jesus was a Jew right? And he got an attitude and I interjected as a religious individual I'm telling you many may find that sacrilegious. He wouldn't look me in the eye gave me an attitude and basically said goodbye. If you are a Christian and want to find a good place to eat and good environment I would suggest elsewhere. read more

Amazingly good, burrito for $8 enjoyed the cilantro tortilla with chicken and black beans. Salsa was okay but the peanut sauce was really good. Helpful young lady at the counter explained the menu. Will be eating here again soon. read more

Place is great for anyone with a special diet or someone who likes Mexican food. Everything tastes great, just watch the Cilantro. It's pretty much in everything! And then you can add extra on too so it can be a bit overpowering. Decor is a little too "hipster" for me, but not bad. The staff have always been friendly. read more

Good stuff here. The Nachos and soft tacos are excellent. I love the variety of salsas and meats, and the unexpected yet delicious peanut sauce! Some of the male staff here are pretty cold and dickish, but the ladies who run it are very sweet, friendly, and helpful. The Poetry night on Wednesdays is great too! I love the creative community in Spokane and Neato is awesome for supporting it. read more

This is, by far, my favorite place to go, in Spokane. The best way I can think to describe it is a bar for underage lovers of a fun night (that is until 10p). The food is absolutely delicious. Chips (nachos) are perfectly salted. Grilled cheese is very easily palatable and golden. Salsa mild - hot: you get what you ask for, haha. They cook to order, which is awesome. The cook, and the rest of the staff are very kind, professional, and fun, just like their place. Very hipster, "lounge-y", friendly environment. One thing people don't acknowledge is how simple it is to make great friends, there. The customers are good people, to match the place. Not to mention the adored "Broken Mic" readings on Wednesday nights. Very funny, interesting, and intense. The only thing I don't like is how small it is. I wish they had a bigger place! That get so much awesome business that people have to sit on the floor! I mean, I don't mind but I would love to fit more people in so they can experience the joy that is being at NeatO. read more

I love and appreciate the vegetarian/vegan options. I was visiting Spokane but if I lived here I'd try all the burritos. I got the curry one, it was pretty unique and huge. It also is on the healthyish side with a lot of vegetables. They also play nice music and have some interesting decor : ) Only possible complication is dealing with parking. Friendly & helpful staff, delicious food, great prices. I got the burrito bowl with brisket. The brisket was very juicy and tender. I got the "bigger" portion and it was definitely a big portion! One of my favorite places to eat in Spokane. The atmosphere is pretty punk and fun. The staff are always friendly and they seem to really appreciate kids, which I love. My husband and I have had the Thai, curry, and BBQ burritos and love them all. My fav is definitely the BBQ burrito with either pork or tofu and the pineapple salsa. Super fresh ingredients and bold flavors. You get a good sized burrito for a solid price, pretty much the same as Chipotle or Qdoba, but this is way better. Do not waste your time and money here. If you love Mexican food too, Spokane has many real Mexican restaurants and taco shops. The food at neato is garbage. They give you seven times more carbs than protein. Have they ever heard that humans need more protein than carbs? If I order a steak burrito, I expect steak to be the main ingredient. Instead you will get a lot of rice beans and potatoes and a tiny spoonful of meat. The burrito will be cold, because they are too cheap to grill it for you. The salsa in the bottles is cheap hot sauce you get at the grocery store. They can't make real salsa? I should have known a place called neato burrito would be garbage. read more
