Neighborly is such a great concept. I love that you can have multiple chef-driven food options in one location, making it easy for everyone to find something they love. I had the miso salmon bowl from Social Monk, and it was so yummy. What stood out to me was how layered the flavors were -- every part of the bowl came together so well. I didn't get the name of the female staff member who greets you when you walk in, but she is always so friendly, positive, and welcoming. They should be really glad to have her as the first person guests meet because she sets such a great tone for the entire experience. The shopping center is pretty too, so you can make a whole little trip out of it -- grab something delicious and walk around afterward. Thank you! Support local.

Such a cute and aesthetic spot with plenty of indoor and outdoor seating. It's an aesthetic food hall with a variety of restaurants to choose from. Ordered through the self-kiosk and got the Rigatoni Alla Vodka, Gaby's Caesar Avocado Wrap, and House Meatballs. Unfortunately, they were out of the meatballs by 2:30 PM, but they offered us the Chicken Parm instead. Everything we tried was delicious and flavorful, but the Chicken Parm was definitely our favorite. It was juicy, filling, and the perfect breading-to-chicken ratio. Portions were also generous. Definitely would come back to try more of the food and other restaurants here!

Several restaurants, one roof, amazingly fresh foods. Service that lives up to its name. Over two days, we tried the salmon, chicken wrap, spicy wonton, steamed broccoli, Ceasar salad, and pepperoni pizza with arugula with pesto and pepperoni ranch dipping sauces. Pizza stole the show for me. Had a crispy exterior and fluffy inside. I didnt care too much for the broccoli and kale as it was cooked more aldente for my taste and lacked seasoning. Overall, everything was fantastic. We sat outside on a warm high 60 degree day in the sun. It was wonderful.

My friend gave me a few meals from this spot and they were delicious. They were Asian meals. I tried a salmon teriyaki dish with broccoli, which was perfection. It was definitely my favorite. I also tried some potstickers that were pretty good. The beef broccoli was divine, but extremely salty. I definitely will come back and check out this place in person! I've heard a lot of great things about it from my friend.

It was super cute, nice views. Service is helpful and friendly. You can order from a kiosk and choose from a few different restaurant menus. They have candy for sale in there too. Always appealing to those with a sweet tooth (like me) I had a chicken Caesar salad. It was delish. The only thing I'd say about the salad is that the pieces need to be smaller. I don't usually have to use a knife with a salad. The amount of dressing it was tossed in was exactly how I like. It's a big salad and I had a late lunch. So good. It was full of chicken and avocado. The food does take a little while to come out though. It was kind of a long wait for 4 salads with my mom and sisters. There's plenty of seating and parking but I'm sure at busier times it's packed. However, salad was a 9.5/10. I'd definitely eat it again next time I'm in the area.

Neighborly is a fun restaurant. Think food hall - various food from different restaurants ordered on one kiosk. There's vegetarian and gluten free options (for the GF options, need to look at the paper menus, it's not listed on the kiosk). You can choose where you'd like to sit and the staff will serve you the food when ready. The restaurant is super casual. There's outdoor and indoor seating. Parking is plaza parking, so plenty to go around.

Came with the kids and my parents who wanted to take us out for our recent anniversary. We ordered at the kiosk. My $5 off welcome coupon didn't work even though it was entered twice. A manager said he would take our order on his register and manually apply the coupon. We ordered kids pepperoni pizza (requested half cheese/half pepp), 2 Chinese chicken salads with dressing on the side (one sub lettuce for arugula), mezze bowl with chicken thigh, and orange chicken (no green onions) with small rice. Orders were brought out 15-20 minutes later. Orange chicken came out with green onions so the offered to remake it and let us keep the one brought out. Everything came out hot! My kids devoured the orange chicken so it was great that they let us keep the first one bc they were starving and picked out the ones that didn't have green onions. We sat outside in the patio. It was a hot day but the weather was mild under the umbrellas. Servers were attentive and responded to requests like extra napkins and plates as well as extras carrots and salad crunchiest. Single bathrooms are plentiful too. Bonus: We got to see/talk with former manager Mike who was visiting, and Kelly who is a trainer. Neigborly is my top two favorite restaurants that I could eat at weekly, if not more! :)

Came by here for lunch today around 1:30pm and had a pleasant time and food was good! Found seats in the shade outside. Ordered: 1) strawberry graham jam Sundae $7.50 - decent but jam at the bottom was way too sweet. Maybe we needed to mix everything together 2) Bensonhurst pepperoni pizza $19.50 - this was good, kids loved it 3) papa hov's steak plate $21.59 - husband really liked the steak meat 4) Mexican coke $3.00 5) Beecher cheese stick $2 6) birthday cookie - too sweet and chunky

food is great, but service is not so great. all staff are super helpful and friendly but i was waiting for the plates from previous customers to be cleared for awhile. the wait wasn't too long for the food, but to flag a person down to ask for a box was hard, and we ended up going inside and asking because everybody was busy.

We love this place! One of our go-to lunch places. We put the order in online and do counter pick up. The staff are so nice and the service is excellent. For how much food you get, the prices are also very reasonable. And the quality of the food is excellent. Our favorite plates are chicken pesto sandwich, waffle fries, drunken noodles, and any salad. Every dish is delicious. We have yet to have anything we don't enjoy! Today, we picked up our order and when we got home realized we didn't have the waffle fries. I called to let them know, and the manager was SO kind! He apologized and sent me a $15 gift card. So sweet. We love this place and can't wait for our next meal!!

I love that every visit to Neighborly gives you the chance to try something different since there are four different restaurants all in one place. One thing I really appreciated was how welcoming the experience was from the moment we walked in. They have menus available near the entrance, and the host asked if it was our first time or if we had visited before. I thought that was a great touch because it helps first-time guests feel more comfortable. After that, you order at a kiosk, which I actually enjoyed. It gives you time to look through the menu and decide without feeling rushed while someone is waiting to take your order. The seating options are great. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating, and the outdoor patio is especially beautiful with lots of greenery, making it a relaxing place to enjoy your meal. The indoor dining area can get a little loud, but that's to be expected in a busy restaurant. During our visit, Mo was checking on guests, and he was incredibly kind. Even though you don't have one dedicated server, he stopped by to clear our plates and asked how everything was. I had decided to try something new, and while it just wasn't my personal preference, I really appreciated that he took the time to check in. As a thoughtful gesture, they even gave me a voucher to use on my next visit. I really appreciated Mo's attentiveness and outstanding customer service. That level of hospitality definitely makes me want to come back. One thing to keep in mind is that parking can be a little limited during peak hours since the lot is shared with other businesses. That said, the parking lot is large enough that, with a little patience, you can usually find a spot.

Do don't order from the social monk menu. I ate at the original Social monk the whole time they were open and loved it. Unfortunately, with the change of the restaurant, the social monk menu and Quality went down the drain. I Ordered 7-8 dishes. For the most part they were all awful. Red meat didn't look right. Noodles were bland. Very strange looking dishes. So unappetizing! Only dish that looked normal was the green beans. Oh and don't forget the prices are high. I use to be a fan but now I'm done and I'm ready for a completely new restaurant to move in. Unfortunately, neighborly needs to remove the social monk menu. They don't have real cooks just people who can make a sandwich or salad. Grade F

Today my mom and I went to the Neighborly in Westlake Village. The outside patio is lovely and we enjoyed sitting under an umbrella in the shade on this warm, sunny day. We were greeted warmly and moved on to the kiosk to order. I, of course had the chicken tenders with waffle fries, a biscuit, and coleslaw. Everything was perfect! My mom had the Orange Chicken-wok-crisped white meat chicken balls with sweet and tangy orange sauce. She loved it and had enough left to take home for dinner. We love Neighborly and are making it part of our rotation!

If you are choosing between the meats, this is the one I would recommend first. Ground Beef Kabob: Also very good and worth ordering. It came with a generous amount of basmati rice and a charbroiled tomato. Lava Special Salad with Shish Kabob: The salad had romaine, tomatoes, cucumbers, red onion, avocado, raisins and walnuts. It was good, but the meat made the meal. Without the Shish Kabob, the salad would have felt underwhelming. Creamy Cucumber Dip: Basically essential. We were very happy we ordered it because neither entrée came with much moisture or sauce of its own. My only real complaint was the homemade salad dressing. The oil tasted old, which was noticeable enough to take away from an otherwise fresh salad. Overall, we really liked Lava Kitchen and would gladly return for the kabobs. The Shish Kabob is the move, and do yourself a favor by adding the cucumber dip.

We didn't know exactly how the flow worked, whether you just pick everything you want, or if there was a menu to order off from certain styles, and looked at the guy who was taking my order for guidance. However, it's incredibly hard to order food from a restaurant you've never been to before when the people working do not speak English. I understand that not everyone may speak English, but there was no one in the restaurant that was able to answer, "How do I order?" All of the workers just kind of looked at each other and then laughed when I kept not being able to understand. The guy leading the order and at the front just kept saying, "Four," with four fingers up. I chose four things and paid, even though I honestly was confused the whole time. It was frustrating because typically, there's at least some sort of notice when traveling and so you know that there might be confusion, but not in Westlake Village. The price for the food was almost $20 a plate, with a normal size dinner portion, making it land a little bit more on the pricier end of things for poor service and a "fast-food esc." type of style restaurant. It feels like they want you in and out. They had some seating inside, but no one was there sitting down, and no one had come inside the entire time we were there. If you want good Mediterranean food, check out Mediterranean Grill off of Lindero Canyon, which is one exit over from Soom Soom.
