I go to Nékters all over the county. I order pretty much the same thing. This place almost always makes the most diluted and flavorless smoothies of any store I've ever been to. The color is lighter which tells me they are watering it back with way too much ice or water. It should t be pale pink. I usually enjoy my green smoothie here and was so disappointed that my experience today was awful. In the photo are the employees, Natalie and Nina, after taking "shots" from the front cooler and chatting with a third employee while I waited for my smoothie. The one with the long pony took my order while the other insisted they take shots at the customer counter while on duty. They didn't pay for the products they stole from the store. I watched as they drank them and went back to chatting at the customer tables. Obviously I was annoyed at having to listen to their loud personal conversation when I waited and they drank shots. The loud one yelled hey sexy across the store when the coworker walked in. Where are the manners? Inappropriate and disappointing that this behavior happened my local smoothie shop. I am obsessed with Nekter Juice Bar! I was really excited about this location because I just started going to the gym right next to it. Everyone loves a healthy juice or smoothie after their workout! The employees are all really sweet and friendly and seem like college students. My fav drink is the Detox or the Pink Flamingo. OMG PINK FLAMINGO. Cannot get enough of this drink. So.freaking.good. and good for you too! I've never gotten a smoothie just because I typically get my protein fix from home. This location is clean, parking is fairly easily, and it's always quick service. Now, the reason I am giving it a 3 stars despite the positive feedback thus far, is because this location does not have make your own acai bowl options. You have to go off of what's on the menu alone, and they messed my order up. Other Nektar locations have the option of making your own acai bowl - kind of like a Chipotle where you put only what you want in it and you have more option as well AND there is no room for anyone to mess up. I was very disappointed with the acai bowl I got from here. It was obviously very watered down, which should not be the case at all and there was fruit in it that should have not been in it. The bowl was just made terribly and I was not satisfied, at all! So note to self, just stick to juices here and do NOT get an acai bowl, ever. I love coming here!! The staff is always so friendly and my bowls are always the same! This is my place to go to after my hikes at Peters Canyon! when you walk in you can feel, smell and see how clean it is! Every time I've visited Nekter, the wait staff has always been attentive, accommodating and friendly even when they're about to close for the day. I'm in the service industry so I'm extra conscientious of good service when I get it and I give Nekter extra kudos for hiring nice and caring wait staff - I know. What a concept right? The juices are also well made that you forget you're drinking a disgusting bunch of celery and parsley hidden with some ginger at times. I like that if you order your juice with ice, they'll immediately put it in the larger cup so you're not getting cheated on the juice. As someone who is in the "high risk" category, it gives me great relief that all the staff at this nektar have their masks on. Not only do I love Nekter Juice Bar, OC HQ'd and everything, I particulary love this Nekter Juice Bar location. The Nekter employees here are always cheery and friendly. I just wish there was a table set up out in the back so I could enjoy the quietude out there while sipping my terrific juice. The signs up on the walls are always uplifting with positivity which feels genuine in the Corporate Culture. I love that there is a Yelp check-in offer of the free Ginger Shot, which is so terrific for our health. The Nekter Appp is great and easy to use for ordering ahead especially on the mornings when I'm attending an early morning event. My juice is always ready for me. Note to Corporate: please add an option for No Cucumber as well as No Apple for those of us who are doing the No Night Shade Vegetables at times. Dear Mr. Nekter, I'm typically not one to write such scathing reviews, I work in customer service and understand that there's off nights, but alas, tonight too many missteps were taken. My boyfriend and I wandered into this establishment 15 minutes before closing. I get that the girls working wanted to get out of there. I've been in their position. That being the case, it doesn't mean they can disregard quality of product and visit. The girls weren't rude at all, but they did tell my boyfriend he couldn't use the restroom because they just cleaned it. He doesn't look the type to make a mess of things. He's not going to take a piss all over the floor. We just paid for two açaí bowls and were denied access to their restroom. When we get the product the container it's in is only half full. I shouldn't be paying $9 for a product that small. I've had their açaí bowls before and the cup it's in isn't half full including the toppings. The product and production of it just felt lazy and rushed. We don't say anything and leave. We get to his house which is literally 3 minutes away by car and open them up. We're excited, it's a warm night out and an açaí bowl sounds tasty and refreshing. What we opened was a minimal amount of running product. I'm expecting a thick, refreshing consistency and what I get was liquify, almost watery. I'm not happy to say the least. I had to put off eating what I was expecting to be able to eat once i got the product. I put them in the freezer to be eaten at a later time. I'll be returning to this location, hopeful to get a better product and service. read more

First, let me say the bowl looks beautiful! And it is huge!The sweetness and tartness are so balanced in the bowl. The fruits are so fresh!
