    Birria tacos
    Linda H.

A lazy Saturday, perfect for food delivery. I pulled out my trusty phone appendage and ordered Nevada Taco Grill. Quick delivery in spite of our snowy weather. Ordered an adobada burrito for my son and quesabirria for myself. The quesabirria (beef) was a bit bland for my taste, but good enough to earn the 4 stars I gave them. I did have some of the adobado (pork) burrito and that was tasty. Just a hop, skip, and a jump from South Reno in the Meadowood Mall,, but for those lazy days,, you can get Yelp ordering and delivery.

I said I was going to try this place again and tonight we had a chance. Ordered a bacon wrap street dog and two Adobada tacos. The street dog was great; I absolutely loved it! The Adobada tasted good but the meat was slightly dryer than I like it but adding the green chile salsa and a hint of lime did wonders. We will definitely need to come back and try some of the other items on the menu.

If you like Birria tacos this is one of best places in reno for Birria my favorite cheat meal on my cheat if you haven't been here you should check it out like today and the customer service is top of the line

The 3 street taco special,. I usually eat here once a week and food is always fresh.

The food here is always fresh, I'm here at least once a week, idk what else to say. I am here so often they know me by name and know what I order, I might have to switch it up someday.

The combo is 3 birria quesadillas, with a side of the birria broth, and salsa verde for dipping. Nice!

I like this place, especially when I have their food delivered. Here's a funny-sounding word (to some Gringos), that's tasty without being too hot (for the caliente averse). Adobada, is pork that's marinated in an ancho chile and Guajillo chile sauce, then quick fried to achieve a nicevcridpyvexteriorwith a moist inside. It's delish!

This place offers hand sanitizer by the register and the place looked clean. This place is new, and I decided to give it a try. I ordered the 3 taco combo. It comes with a drink, rice, and beans. You get to choose what meat you want for your tacos. I tried the carne asada, lengua, and carnitas. All of them were good! Don't forget to ask them for the limes, jalapeño, and salsa! The flavors reminded me of the restaurants in Mexico. If you're ever at the mall and craving for some tacos, try this place out. I highly recommend it!

I do not regret ordering carnitas tacos street style at Nv taco grill in the mall. Seems like a hidden gem. Will be my go to for quick Mexican lunch while working & even days off. Love the carnitas & for me personally, don't even need salsa! Thanks for a great lunch!

The dry disgusting chicken in my taco. Come on, I've never seen smushed chicken like this before.

If no stars were available I would leave just that. this is probably the worst restaurant in general I've ever been to let alone Mexican. I ordered five rolled tacos with everything, a quesadilla, and a chicken taco plate. The chicken was weird, and just had a horrible flavor to it. Customer service was non-existent from one, and the other guy who gave me my refund was understanding. I'm not trying to be rude, but it was so gross!

The chile relleno and the seeds... there are seeds everywhere at this point. (None in the rice or beans.)

The worst place I've ever ate Mexican food. The cheese was cold, greasy. And they take 20 min to get the nasty food they make ready.

The inside has that old school diner and saloon vibe people always mention, a little dark, a little busy, with memorabilia on the walls and a bar that looks like it's been there forever. It's not trying to be trendy, more of a local hangout with a lot of character and a steady crowd of regulars. If you go on a weekend, expect a wait because it gets packed. Service was excellent. Even with the place being full, everything ran smoothly and the staff stayed friendly and attentive the whole time. It felt like they actually care about making sure you're taken care of, not rushing you in and out. Definitely a strong point of the experience. For food, we had the chicken fried steak and the French toast. The chicken fried steak was exactly what you want from a place like this, large portion, hearty, and satisfying. The French toast was a nice balance to that, a little lighter but still rich and comforting. Overall, it's solid, no nonsense comfort food that hits the spot. This is the kind of place you go when you want a real meal and a laid back atmosphere. Would highly recommend. Great value and service!

PJ's is a just a good ol'fashioned diner and I mean this in the best way possible. The restaurant has a comfortable, rustic feeling and the staff are warm and welcoming. Like you came to their home for a meal. My wife and I split the French Toast Platter, which was 2 slices of French Toast, eggs and we ordered the link sausage. The French Toast was solid. Just good basic French Toast. Nothing bougie, just good French Toast. The eggs were eggs but the sausage was quite good. Rich with flavor. The coffee, while unusually expensive for a dinner, was just meh. Nothing special nor nothing terrible. Got two burritos, a grilled chicken plate and a shrimp taco salad. What I loved about this lady's service was she placed order for ladies first and I absolutely felt being respected so did my lovely daughter. She also communicated with me in advance asking if it is ok to add fish in my taco salad since they were running low on shrimp. I said ok. It turned out the taco shrimp/fish salad was absolutely delicious. Everything was fresh, veggie, beans, grilled seafood and green sauce all complemented very well. Whoever in the kitchen knows how to cook and prepare for food. The food made us fall in love with Mexican cuisine all over again. Interior design was a mixture of old and new with Mexican cultural elements as focal point. Vibe was dynamic and lively. The owner brought much life to the environment. Highly recommend it.

I wanted to try someplace new and i saw positive reviews of their fish tacos so i went for lunch. I was greeted by stqff when entering which was nice. One of the first things that struck me was the overwhelming smell of burnt or stale grease. I don't know if they have a fryer that needs new oil or what but it was an unpleasant and distracting odor. Secondly, the bar surface that i chose to eat at was sticky. Now this is just after opening at 11:30a. Not that eating surfaces should ever be sticky but it is somewhat more understandable at the end of a day rather than the beginning. I ordered the two fish taco platter with rice and beans. My first bite of rice and beans seemed a bit salty. I have had bland beans before but never beans as over salted as these were. Then i bit into the taco and it followed the same flavor profile of being too salty. But it was garnished well and the fish filet was of good proportion, but it didn't look fresh and certainly did not taste very good. In fact i left one whole taco uneaten, which i NEVER do because i am a fish taco addict, but the flavor just got so salty i couldn't eat anymore. And since the rice and beans were salty also i couldn't really eat any more of that either. I left half my plate uneaten. A rarity for me. Also the chips and salsa are NOT complimentary but i must say they were the best thing i had there. Still, $6 for chips and salsa that are free elsewhere is poor value. Net net, those who say they have the best tacos ever need to get out more. There are plenty of other places in midtown that are hands down better than antonios.
