First time there after work with my coworkers to get drinks I usually just stop get my drink and leave but Friday I stayed and had a good lil time now I wish they had pool tables or darts or something to do while we were in there

A fun location of this popular Nola chain in the small town of Luling. Known by most locals as "BK Daq's" - since a Burger King operated in the building previously. One of those spots that if you live in the area, you can pretty much guarantee you'll run in to a minimum of 5 people you know on a Fri/Sat night. Clean, cozy atmosphere and a good selection of daiquiris including the popular "190 Octane", and several bottled beer options. Drive-Thru for daq's - but no straw til you get where you're going. ;) For this little town, never a bad hang.

    Samples delight!

Clean, tiled entrance into an ambient waiting area where the white tile behind the bar beams light onto all of the accents of brass and warm wood throughout. Pops of green foliage soften the hard edges of an art deco decor. 4 of us nestled into a cozy booth where people watching was within reach, but reading light-not so much. Candles on tables, maybe? Gabriel our server did a good job and think he'll open up more, the more comfortable he gets. We went ape on the food-captions in my food pics attached. Steak tartare, bone marrow, lamb lollipops, rigatoni, grilled romaine, cheese and caviar-followed by wellingtons and short ribs. Never trust women that don't eat. We are definitely not those women! Bathrooms also were striking and clean. My one question; why the knit striped polos for staff? Servers appeared like misplaced footlocker employees. Interesting choice. Will be back to indulge in the malted ice cream dish when my tummy is prepared to take it on. ;)

It was my first time eating at the husky, and I was blown away. My daughter and I had the most perfectly cooked Beef Wellington, one of my friends got the chicken, and we all had a taste of the Key lime dessert. I cannot wait to go back! I highly recommend a visit to The Husky!

I ultimately ordered the Sautéed Garlic Shrimp with butternut squash risotto. The presentation was beautiful and the flavors were rich and creamy. Also, Eddie kept my water glass filled and made me feel special and welcomed. The ambiance at the Fountain Lounge is classic luxury. Plus, the staff is always on point. They even remembered my special occasion when I last dined there. Plus, the team was attentive and quite friendly. My only complaint is that the piano is no longer there. Apparently, the powers that be decided to remove the soul of the restaurant. In the days of old, a pianist played sets during dinner. Not only did it make guests truly appreciate the musical style of New Orleans, but the melodic music also drew others into the restaurant. What a shame to have lost the heart and soul of the restaurant. Yet, the staff does their best to create a warm and welcoming environment, while the chefs provide truly top notch cuisine. Whether staying at the Roosevelt or simply enjoying the French Quarter, the Fountain Lounge is a perfect place to enjoy delicious cuisine and top notch service.

It is very dim lighting with bar seating, couch seating, and table seating with table lamps. It is a pretty big space with lots of walking room. We ordered at the bar because at 1:30, they didn't do table service. We got a glass of Prosecco and a Hugo spritz. It was so refreshing and just what we needed. Service was quick. I thought it was pricey, but we were in a nice hotel in NOLA.

Plus I mighta had a more prurient interest cause she had to bend over...Hey! I ain't proud but I am a guy!!! PS She also has a double barreled personality, if you know what I'm saying... Excellent locale right next to Milanos and just a class interior and decor...got a postage stamp stage and I was told they have live music...I have a feeling that if I ever visit this place after dark with a crowd I'll be updating to a 5...however this is a great place for day drinking and I say that because that's all I've ever done here but as stated above I'm sureI I'd love this place after dark!!
