This place surprised me. I gave up on getting good Chinese food in Medford. Then I ate at the Tin Tin. The coconut shrimp, the teriyaki chicken and a couple of the other dishes are very good. They certainly have a huge selection to choose from. Next time I will try the salmon. I didn't care for the sushi I tried but I don't like sushi. The place was clean and the service was good. Food was hot. Everyone was masked. I'm going back. It was expensive - $50 for two lunches but next time we won't have a soft drink. That will take ten bucks off. And, it was pretty good over all. Not the best Chinese food I ever ate but I was pleased to find it was worth returning to. I will add to this after I've gone back. read more

Food isn't great, nor is it hot. It's like they never eat their own food, which would alert them that it's only warm when it should be hotter. The two times we've gone, the sushi has had flies or other bugs in it. I prefer my sushi with less protein. There are koi in the pond. read more

Regular customers for 10+ years However, the last 6 months it's felt like pulling teeth to get a refill on drinks. Food is usually stocked unless you come 2 hours before closing than they don't worry about putting more unless asked. Few suggestions would be to put out hand sanitizer dispensers near the buffet entrances and to have employees wear name tags. read more

Forgive me for all the stereotypes. This restaurant was clean, brightly lit and the staff was friendly and accommodating. No, the food is not gourmet. But there is a large selection to choose from and pans were turned quickly so nothing gets dried out and nasty looking. The trick to eating at buffet isn't to eat as much as you can to get "your money's worth" but to choose a variety of dishes that you enjoy. What I found was so surprising good in selection and flavor that I never ever got a look at the sushi. I never made it into the corner of the restaurant where it was on display. My boyfriend took me here for my birthday lunch, as he recommended the place. This is a buffet that offers a variety of Chinese selections, service is great, they keep the drinks filled, the ambiance is comfortable and you can eat until your tummy is content! :) Some of the dishes I tried were the general tso's chicken, sesame chicken, coconut shrimp, lo mein noodles, BBQ pork, spring rolls, and dumplings, shrimp balls, egg flower soup, full salad bar, Mongolian beef, and sushi. I think this place is great and would return for sure, reasonable priced (21 dollars for two lunches). I truly enjoyed this meal with my sweetie, it was so nice. I was so full and happy without that heavy greasy feeling. The food was fresh, tasty, hot and will fix your craving for great chinese food! The seating is very comfortable as well, plenty of tables and booths to relax as well as a small waterfall with koi fish. Heard a lot of bad things about this place from a lot of people. I've been in Medford for almost 2 years now and I finally thought to give it a shot and go there yesterday. Suffice to say, people were wrong. I'm a big fan of Chinese food and it's hard to find a good quality Chinese food around here. Tin Tin saved the day with their great selection of seafood and fresh selection of other main dishes like beef broccoli etc. though the noodle needs a bit more attention but the pancit, fried rice, veggies and other sides were delicious. Walked into a lively vibe. Lots of families. However, about half of the entrées are labeled with what they are. Some of the mystery meats kinda looked a bit scary. I have a few dietary allergies (mainly shellfish and food coloring). I only ate 2 meat dishes. Both were labeled beef or pork. 1 small scoop of fried rice and one small tong grab of lomein. One bite of the egg flower soup. Avoided everything else, and I am still experiencing an itchy throat. Definitely miss labeled or cross contamination happening. What a great find!! We'll be turning this location into our staple when passing through Medford. With a plethora of foods to choose from, this is a buffet lovers dream. Plenty of fresh options on offer alongside the regular items one expects to find when perusing what delicious dishes get priority on the plate. This delightful restaurant has so many options that one would be silly to leave unsatisfied. Our drinks were continuously refilled, we chose ice tea and it was very fresh, clearly brewed throughout the day and not left to sit. Two of us had lunch there yesterday, Tuesday, 30 August 2022. We ate at about 1:30. the cost was $16.50 per person, plus $3.00 for each soft drink. We thought that a bit high in price for a buffet lunch. Now then, the restaurant was spotless, and their restrooms were spotless. Their selection of food was excellent, hot and fresh looking. They were making their sushi offerings almost as you took the ones on display, you could not ask for better. The people working there were very nice, friendly, and fast to clean and removing used plates, cleaning used tables instantly, bringing our drinks, etc. The one waitress helping us was Lucy, she is maybe the hardest working restaurant person I have ever seen, and always had a superbly friendly smile, both welcoming us, thanking us, and wishing us a good afternoon. read more

I will never go back. Flies in the "salad bar". Most of the food was dried out, unpalatable. The koi fish in the little pond right when you walk in was the highlight of the meal. Tin Tin gets a bad rap. I like it. No, it's not "gourmet," but it's better than what passes for Chinese food at some other places around town (I'm looking at you Silver Dragon). They stay busy so the food rotates regularly and doesn't sit around. They have a large variety to suit most tastes. They have lots of seafood and much of it isn't fried. They have a sushi bar. Pretty basic but very customer service oriented. My wife loves sushi yet detests nori (seaweed). She told the staff and she got a California roll with no nori. Happy wife = happy life. Food is fresh and tasty, service has gotten quite attentive-especially for a buffet- and the price is reasonable. Only downside is no leftovers. But I always leave Tin Tin satisfied and happy. I used to go to a Tin Tin Buffet when there was one open in Salem when I was a kid. I love that years later I find the same buffet in Medford.
